Abuela means grandmother. She is the matriarch of the family.
So catchy. "Oh, Mirabel didn't get one." It gets worse after that. But you'll have to watch it to see how.
To be fair to Dolores, her delivery seemed to show that she didn't seem to find Mirabel not having a gift to be that big a flaw, if it even was a flaw. Then again, this is a girl who can pretty much nevr have peace, and finds sounds outside normal conversation to be painfully loud, so she and Tia Pepa know all about how a gift can be a double-edged sword...

I would recommend holding off on reacting separately to Dos Oruguitas and All of you until you see the movie. They both are hugely spoilery and has more impact within the context of the story.
Agreed. The rest of the songs are ok. But those 2 songs, especially All of You since it's a HUGE spoiler. And Dos Oruguitas really hits differently if you saw it with the film.
I'd suggest recording your full reaction of watching the movie and edit out your reaction to those songs and upload them here. 👍🏾

Another thing to really appreciate in this scene is all Mirabel's dance movements that every LatinoX person can recognize
It's ok man, I think it's unfair of some commenters to expect that someone watching these will pick all details immediately, especially for such a dense and detailed work. "You have nothing to prove!". I also suggest you react to the full thing because other songs are spoilery, and then maybe you could upload just the parts around the songs, but you do you!

The absolute shade of "OH! Mirabel didn't get one" is everything.
You should definitely react to waiting on a miracle. Definitely a really emotional and relatable one (at least in my case lol) also a really underrated one compared to the others.
While I understand you want to hold off watching the film until you've finished listening to all the songs. It does really depend on how you feel about spoilers for the end of the movie.
Both of the last two songs, Dos Oroguitas and All of You, which are both incredible songs, are heavily spoiler in terms of the turning point of the movie.
If you're genuinely not bothered about that then go ahead and watch them.
They're actually so emotionally impactful, for many anyway, that they'll still cry no matter how many times they watch them. But if you really don't like Spoilers I'd really consider holding off.
After all most songs you listen to the rest of the time don't contain spoilers for the end of a movie. Apart that is from covers from Acapella groups of Disney movies. Like Voiceplay's Moana medley.

Oooh. Yesss! This is my second favorite song. Let me say the part at the end when she was singing super fast....mannnn....im trying to memorize it. Definitely a cute movie. Super fun and really interesting. The songs though...amazing

The song Surface Pressure comes at a point in the movie where someone who is watching the movie and someone who is reacting to the song blind both really have no context other than the lyrics. So you did great, as well as someone watching the movie would have.
To be fair, seeing the song again in the movie itself didn’t really change my perception of that song.

Abuela Alma she’s the head and the oldest at 75 her husband is no longer around died at age of 26 ( dos Oruguitas reveals the resolution of the entire story) Pepa, julieta and Bruno are triplets at 50.
Julieta was the first to have a baby which was Isabela at 22. Pepa had the next one is Dolores and she’s 21. Julieta had her second child next which is Luisa and she’s 19
Pepa had her second child which is Camilo and he’s 15. A few months later Julieta had her third daughter Mirabel and she’s also 15. And the youngest is Pepa’s second son Antonio and it is his 5 birthday when the story starts. That’s the age the gifting ceremony happens

I'm not going to spoil the movie, but I am going to say that I watched it like seven times after it came out
My suggestion would be to react to the entire movie and then divided up into clips of the music videos. Also. This way, you know the context of the song and the meanings hit much harder when you know the backstory.
When you watch the movie you will love it i cry from joy from sadnes i was 9 times in the cinema knowing that they will put this on D+ so fast. You should watch it with whole family.

I think 🤔 💬 alot of people's reactions " *Especially towards Louise* song " her losing her powers and gift,the additional pressure,while as a strong confident women... It felt to me very Profoundly Rewarding... She in my option it was kinda under whelmingly under rated. And I too felt alot of people undershot her talent,cause she was the silent type but yet still very charismatic compared to her more talented counterparts. She was definitely a cross between,yet still a balance of musculature and feminine 🥵

Do Waiting on a miracle
So when you look at clips of the movies like this, do the movie still have the same emotions? I don't look at trailers or clips till I see the movie I wanna be surprise going in
The reactions didn't ruin the movie for me. I was still missing a lot of context and the movie cleared all of that up
We don't talk about Bruno... at first, it's indeed like this.. but, you should watch the movie to know why and who Bruno really is.
Pause all you like, this is a reaction video, not a music video.
React to dos oruguitas from encanto, bet you will cry
you can skip back and forth super easy with the arrow keys, it skips 5 seconds, J and L skips 10 seconds, might help after a pause to skip 5 sec back
all the songs left are "spoilers" so you should watch the movie now... if you want one more... "what else can i do" is not super spoilery
