The Imperial Daleks are my favourite Daleks overall. Not only do they have a really cool colour scheme, I love the various tweaks to their designs, the unique shape of the dome lights, the cutout on the plunger arm, their casings gave a certain sense of refinement and streamlining that juxtaposed the rather traditional casings of the Renegades.
@greggoleggo9160 yeah I never watched the classic series to it's fullest I watched some clips the daleks are walking bins with toilet plungers and a death lazer
The Imperial Daleks were the developed units from the Necros experiments and are programmed to obey Davros. The Renegades were the Kaled decended survivors that had just overcome the Movellen virus. Totally fair to say the 'Renegades' are the true original Daleks. Davros declared he would create a new Dalek army in Resurrection.
I genuinely believe that there are some Renegade and Imperial Dalek Remnants. However, I like to imagine they're, for the most part, inactivate and in hibernation awaiting for their comrades to awake them. I think a cool, big finish scenario would be a human colony awakening one of these outposts, and having to deal with the threat could be really cool. Or maybe have like a Paradigm Dalek, find an outpost, and deem them more pure than the current Daleks and as such plans to lead them in a takeover of the empire.
The Dalek civil war between the Renegades and Imperials is one of my favorite Dalek stories only surpassed by my love of my first Dalek story I watched Genesis. I actually in the discord have started posting images of what I thought the broader conflict looked like.
For me personally I think neither faction actually won the civil war. I think that after the destruction of Skaro the remnants of the imperial and Renegade Daleks united together to create a new Dalek regime and seek revenge on the Time lords for the destruction (or attempted if you count ‘War of The Daleks’ as canon), of their home world and many of their Dalek race. Thus the Time war commenced and as it waged on the Daleks began to develop more powerful and superior battle armour to fight across the temporal plains. I love the imperial Dalek design more than the renegade Daleks personally. I love how it perfectly expresses the Daleks sense of hubristic arrogance and pride. The grey and black colour schemes of the renegades, whilst cool I have to admit are a bit boring since we’ve had grey and black Daleks since Day Of The Daleks. So I love that the imperial Daleks stand out more in comparison. Xx
The civil war between the Renegade Daleks and the Imperial Daleks is one of my favorite Dalek stories. It was my introduction to the classic era Daleks through Remembrance.
The true victor of the Imperial-Renegade Dalek civil war was the Seventh Doctor, who literally talked the Renegade Supreme to death and rewired the Hand of Omega to betray Davros.
When i was younger i created an au in which the remaining imperial daleks, after the destruction of the mothership, decided that davros had failed them and somehow traveled into the future after the time war, escaping the renegade daleks, in this new timeline they regrew their empire as the 2nd imperial dalek empire, using tech stolen from the time war daleks, and they succesfully took over half the universe This was made a long time ago and i have long since forgotten most of it, but i think it was a cool idea and wish the writers did something similar for an episode or something
The Imperials stand as my favorite Dalek design in the series. I often favor others, but the imperials just exuberate their own namesake. The white casing represents their sense of purity, and the complimentary gold colors represent their imperious presence.
I always preferred the imperial Daleks from remembrance of the Daleks with their refined look as opposed to the necros daleks from revelation. I know some of the Eighth Doctor Adventures (EDA) were unpopular but I personally enjoyed reading War of the Daleks and Legacy of the Daleks, especially war as it looks at different types of daleks from spider and strider Daleks on 8 legs to marine daleks for underwater exploration, as well as the various colours and rankings. Would you do a video for each of these overlooked and under appreciated books giving an in depth overview and review in the same way you do for other stories like the comics and big finish audios?
These guys (and the Daleks in the post-civil war era as a whole) have some crazy histories, don't they? Personally, I think that the Earth Dalek faction and the Restoration Empire are from divergent timelines (in the latter case, it's all but outright confirmed that this is the case) and that the Renegades won the civil war; mainly due to the fact that the Time War Daleks don't seem to have any of the augmentations of the Imperials. Still, it would be neat to see some of these guys kicking around in a post-civil war story, possibly in a remnant faction like some sort of more canon-friendly version of the Restoration Empire.
I would love to see an audio book where either the 6th or 7th doctor would be involved in the plot where they see the events of how the imperial daleks were created and simply have called “Imperial” and then perhaps do a sequel with the other doctor showing the supreme dalek becoming leader of the renegade dalek faction and simply call it “Renegade” and have both of them end with both factions heading to earth for the lead up to Remembrance of the Daleks
I just came to see if someone had came to make a "Well, if there's Imperial Daleks, that must imply there's Metric Daleks..." joke, and seeing that nobody had made it I figured I'd do it myself... then stayed for the video :)
The dalek armies davros created may have become the seriphia dalek empire davros has becomes the seriphia dalek emperor tho that is a matter of debate tho I personally think they were a front for the wider universe as for the real dalek empire rebuilding itself in the 8th galaxy (skaros galaxy)
In the words of ace it's obvious Renegade daleks are blobs imperial daleks are bionic blobs with bits added well you can tell that daleks are into racial purity one lot of blobs reckons that the other lot of blobs are two different mutants not pure in the. blobens
I think the imperial daleks won, because in Victory of the Daleks, the progenitor doesn't recognize the time war daleks as pure daleks, I always assumed that was because they where the desendans of the ''impure'' imperials. Also it might explain why we didn't see any imperial daleks in asylum of the daleks or the magicians apprentice. Because they all recived upgraded casings so looked like bronze daleks. Their more mechanical design always looked like the stepping stone between classic and new daleks anyway

I love watching daleks miss every shot in a 10 minute “battle” until an imperial dalek moves once
Ben Aabramovich's novel attributes this to jamming. Wonder if that is why the paradigm put eyes in their eyestalks.
@@Feaelen probably. Although it would be uncomfortable for the mutant to try and leave its casing if it’s damaged
Bronze ones miss if there enemy's are behind cover as soon as they see a body part the humans are exterminated
@@declangaming24 I’m talking about the daleks in remembrance of the daleks
@greggoleggo9160 yeah I never watched the classic series to it's fullest I watched some clips the daleks are walking bins with toilet plungers and a death lazer
Also the Dalek shuttle from Remembrance of the Daleks is one of my favourite non standard Dalek ship designs.

The Imperial Daleks just look so amazing, it’s hard not to root for this mish mash of impure and re aligned Dalek mutants!

Which has worse aim: Stormtroopers or Imperial Daleks?
Fascism makes you dumb and duck at aiming
Put that on a poster
My favorite kind of dalek!! Thank you mr bump!
The civil war between the Renegade Daleks and the Imperial Daleks is one of my favorite Dalek stories. It was my introduction to the classic era Daleks through Remembrance.
They are my favourite daleks, I want to see them come back on day
fantastic video in my mine the imperial daleks and renegade daleks both merged into one faction to fight the time lords
I suspect they are two creatures in a single shell.A Necros human brain and a modified Dalek mutant with claws.
The true victor of the Imperial-Renegade Dalek civil war was the Seventh Doctor, who literally talked the Renegade Supreme to death and rewired the Hand of Omega to betray Davros.
Always love a new video, even better as this was uploaded on my birthday.

The greatest shame about the use of the Imperial Daleks in Big Finish is that they dropped the scratchy, over-modulated voices 😭

Great vid
The Imperials were a great design, imo.
Always liked them.
always wished we see a modern version of one, just because i want to see a dalek mutant with both cybernetics and a damn giant claw
WOO!!! Go Imperials!
I just came to see if someone had came to make a "Well, if there's Imperial Daleks, that must imply there's Metric Daleks..." joke, and seeing that nobody had made it I figured I'd do it myself... then stayed for the video :)
The original imperial daleks
YESSSS THANK YOU ❤❤❤
Maybe the Imperials and Renegade survivors merged and that explains there sudden interest in fighting the Time War.
They love Mint Imperials.

Like if you want me to make your dalek in lego
Bring back the special weapons Daleks!
My favorite Dalek is the one that says "exterminate" and then exterminates all over the doctor.
I will die on this hill imperial daleks won
