Closed Guard - Technical Stand Up to Collar Drag

The technical stand up IS NOT just some warm up drill we do that only has practical application in an MMA fight! In this video I demonstrate how you can use this fundamental BJJ movement with a cross collar grip to remove yourself from the bottom of closed guard if you feel stuck because your sweeps and submissions aren’t working. I also show you how to chain the technical stand up with the collar drag to take the top position.
