X Guard - The Technical Stand Up Sweep

There are many sweeps from X Guard, but the Technical Stand Up sweep is by far the strongest. How easy it is for us to get up depends on how hard our opponent drives back into us. In this video I go over all the steps required to perform this sweep successfully against a better opponent.

What I like about your 's instructions is that you point out how good opponent will defend your attacks. So you know what you should be ready for

These kinds of sweeps that make the sweeper end up in upright stand up positions are to me probably best for overall self defense or grappling. I don't like the complicated sweeps with various foot hooks or gi manipulations that still somehow entangle you in some way even after the sweep.
