Hi James…I would like to add on to another cool feature. If your car is on and all the windows are rolled down and unlocked…if anyone else walks up to the car and tries to open your door, the doors auto lock and windows auto role up. The car senses that your key is not near so for security it just locks the door and windows role up.
Nice vid, had a couple in there I didn't know about...you taking video suggestions? Haha it'd be pretty cool to make one about the ambient lighting at night to see how it looks and what you can change/customize/etc.
Btw Tyre Reviews out of the UK specifically tests the star spec P4s against the normal ones. There are a bunch of differences in the construction that he covers in his excellent video. It's called "Is Bespoke Always Best? OE vs. Aftermarket Tyres"
Other models get it, I got it with my M440 when we got our cars in Spartanburg. Also I’m not sure you can use card if you don’t have car charge option .
I have the Competition model and did not receive the the digital card. I looked at through the owners manual and packaging and could not find it. Is that something that should've come with the packaging or do i have to request it from the dealership?
I would definitely ask the dealership about it. From my understanding every comp model should have it. I did not get any fancy packages on my car either so you should have got it.
So with some brands they partner with tire companies to build an OE tire for special cars. The MPS4s tire on this car is one of those special tires. @@WhatsyourForte my e46 318i and e53 x5 have them . All the year 2000 onwards have had them. As far as I know they have had them for longer also as a safety feature for the user.
I like it better than my M4. This is my only car and it fits all of my needs of being a good daily along with a weekend warrior. My M4 was good but was not the best daily driver.
i was told by the dealership.... during the build for my 2022 M4 Brooklyn Grey the digital key, the cell phone charger, is gone due the shortage of chips..
Dude those are some weak “cool features” digital key is standard on almost all newer BMWS, window roll down and pathway lights have been features forever, and a different DOT number does not mean it’s the wrong tire.. it’s just a different batch, still the same exact tire if it has the star
@@WhatsyourForte My ‘16 M4 had the star rated tires. Tirerack.com carries them. I know cause I had to get new ones the 1st time around and noticed the ⭐️. Cool feature tho

Yeah I heard they are back ordered. Just keep checking tire rack or you can try to contact Michelin directly

You can control car functions from the app, like lock/unlock doors, start ventilation, remote start with a fee and some other stuff

My G80 MT did not come w a digital key. I think it’s only on the Comp, or I didn’t get the tech package (which I didn’t).

All BMW'S have pathway lights. Indicator works too if you're parked on a dark or tight street so they can see your car and not hit it
I came from a F82 M4 and they did not have that feature. But yes the modern BMWs have them now

I like it better than my M4. This is my only car and it fits all of my needs of being a good daily along with a weekend warrior. My M4 was good but was not the best daily driver.

Yeah the window will roll down automatically but you have to tell it when to go up.

Another cool feature: the M3 comp has a drift score built in. Turn it on, drift your car and it’ll give you a rating based on how good your drift was.

Well I think they are cool and they are new to me coming from a F82 M4. The tire also does not have the star so they are not the correct tire.
