Pedro Martinez in terms of Bread and Butter Both were 2 Seam, then tunneled the Changeup off of that. Both of those 2 pitches created similar profiles, but at different speeds, and slightly more tumble with the change, which created tons of weak contact, and enough swing and miss to be effective.
@@dodgersdaily Thanks. Really interesting. I hope he gets an opportunity at the MLB with the Dodgers or with another organization if he's selected in the R5.
idk.. the guy is good but the amount of pitching depth the current dodgers have rn, this guy will never make it to the big league in the dodgers uniform..
He might as a bulk guy for a game or two if starting pitchers get down like this season. Otherwise, tbh getting traded might be the better situation for him.
Choi's one of a kind. Super great person and talent to have in this organization!
Damn....his English is good! Much respect to him.
Dodgers need more Koreans. Huge market in LA, plus Dodgers are South Korea’s team
Hi Casey ! Another great interview. One day i would like to see an All-Asian All-Star team vs American All-Stars. # LiketheDrillersCap.
I saw the thumbnail and thought it said "Hyun-iL Choi, Dodgers RIP" and was worried for a sec.
His English speaking is very good I hope to see him the majors with Hyun-Seog Jang (RHP)
Totally agree. His language skills are impressive.
He worked very hard on his English and it shows
Casey another excellent interview . Impressive English by the young man. Best of luck moving forward to him
You rock Steve, really appreciate the great support
Seoul Bistro in Tulsa. Been there and I understand Choi’s sentiment 😂
Is there a pitcher that comes to mind as a comp for Choi? Maybe Ross Stripling?

What are his best pitches?
2 seam is his best pitch. Then probably slider and cutter behind that
