- Hello friends and fellow working mom warriors! Today I'm sharing what my normal work day looks like. I'm a mom with a typical 9-5 Mon-Fri job and I work from home. I try to get up around 5am a few days a week so I can workout and have time for myself before my kids get up and I have to focus on the many tasks of the day. I try to get as much cleaning and household chores done during quick breaks from the screen and during my lunch hour so that I don't have to spend my weekends doing housekeeping. When I started watching you last year, I was inspired to do my quick work out during weekdays for only 20mins max. And yes, I agree with you Amanda. We don't need hours at the gym to see results. And now I'm loving my body♥️ thank u Amanda. Continue to inspire other moms😘♥️

I agree about 2 hours in a gym! I had this mindset for a long time, that you need to spend ton of time in the gym, and was never able to stick to it, so no results. When i started consistently exercise for 30-45 minutes 3-4 times a week, results finally came!

Wow, you pack a lot into your 1 hour lunch break considering you make your lunch from scratch- very inspiring!
So I’m really good about making the most of my work day and incorporating housework and chores into my day. I’m a remote worker like you and my kiddos go to school. I really need to start getting up earlier though. It is better to get up early and have that time to wake my mind up before everyone else gets up. The morning rush is so intense sometimes.
That’s awesome!! Makes a big difference when you can get those chores done! I hear you on the morning rush…that’s honestly what made me change my bad habit of sleeping in and letting my kids wake me up. The morning got so out of control and I would be frustrated, rushed, short with the kids and I felt awful! It’s tough to get up early but once you do it a few times the reward so so worth it and it’s easier to keep it up. You got this! 🙌🏻🩷

Ahhh the kids are so so cute! Such sweeties lol. I feel you on the commute! My children (7 & 11) start at different times. We leave the house at 7:15 (ideally!) and I'm back just in time to log in for my 9:30 shift. We get it done though! I have began listening to books from Libby while I'm driving. Or just get really into the music I'm playing! I am also loving the new house. Looks like you are getting back to feeling like yourself!

I do some household chores during my remote job too. It does help alot. I can't always because I answer calls
Definitely saves so much time and makes it much easier when the kids aren’t home to get cleaning/chores done!

Hey Amanda, I’ve been racking my brain on wanting to start a new self care routine where I don’t overdo the basic tasks I do regularly. Is it weird I wanna start setting the alarm early on my Sundays off rather than throughout the week when I work? I wanna see if it’s gonna stick before I start adding more days to my week. Can you please make a video on how to start & stick to a basic routine? Little tips you’ve learned and can share will be helpful thanks a bunch. Love your videos
