Grind your own bean to a medium grind and let brew for 2 days the flavor is amazing the sediment is gone . The local coffee shop told me how to brew cold brew.

How much do you dilute it, because that sounds like one helluva caffeine rush as is. 😂
@@carrington2949 I dilute it by taste. Most times I drink it when it's hot outside, so I just pour a bit into cold milk and that's it. If I want it black, I just dilute it with water until the taste is too my liking. It's all on an ad hoc basis

A few suggestions.
Start with enough boiling water to cover the grounds. You will see the gases dissipate which really helps with the bitterness.
Dunkin’ suggests 3 tablespoons per 6 ounces.
Add a half spoon of brown sugar to the grounds. This helps bring out the coffee flavor and reduce bitterness.

Ya she's right. If you don't compost pickup in your area, you can mix into soil in your gard3n...or...toss into garbage. Better than down the pipes

I got this recently and it tasted quite strong and maybe a little bitter, not sure if I got it wrong! Any suggestions?
Do you dilute the concentrated cold brew at all? I read online that it is really strong if you don’t add any extra water. Just bought a cold brew maker so I’m wondering!
So with the cold brew maker I have (linked in description box!) the grinds sit in water overnight and I just remove the filter with the grinds in the morning so it’s not strong at all!
Bougie I like it 😁 right now I've just been putting coffee in a mason jar with water letting it set and then using a cheesecloth and then just dump it into another container. If I don't just make coffee and then wait until gets cold.
But yeah I've been using that Starbucks cinnamon dolce with my Dunkin donuts coffee it's pretty good.
But actually might have to check this thing out it looks a lot easier.

I have both the mason jar with metal mesh filter, and one like yours (thru Temu). I coarse grind my beans but dilute from the pitcher as I find it too concentrated. About how much coffee filled that filter? Looked like a lot. Love the sf syrups too. Enjoyed the video
I don’t know exactly how much but maybe a cup and a half?
I have one of these as well and prefer this brewing time frame! I know many do the 24/48 hours, but brewing less time, i don't need to add water to dilute. That's the ice cubes job as it melts 😂❤

Coffee grounds are great to spread out on your Houton lawn as well as use on a few plants.
Just boughy one of these and its such a huge time and money saver you only need to make some and boom you have cold brew for the next few days depending on how much you drink

I was going to buy a coffee sock & filter the grounds through that inside a mason jar but this combines the too! Do all coffee grounds work then? I know with the method I was gonna do before I saw people recommend coarse coffee grounds, do the fine ones work fine then? There’s no grounds in the coffee when you drink it?

When I make cold brew, it never seems strong enough, even when I use extra coffee. Does your coffee come out strong in flavor?
Mine seems strong but not super strong because I use a light roast…you could probably do a dark roast for a stronger cold brew!
I purchased the brewer to make loose leaf iced tea. I haven’t used it for cold brew coffee, but will. My wife always takes my coffee grounds and puts them into the composter for her garden. You can also feed your garden worms coffee grounds.

I’m your kindred spirit…trying to get baby weight off too😩 a total Dunkin addict but the flavored syrups give me so much inflammation.
Where do you get the pumps for your syrups? And….I was surprised you didn’t add water to your concentrate before serving…I thought Dunkin adds water to theirs before serving. Does it taste strong?
Oh no that’s awful they give you inflammation! So with the cold brew maker I have, the grinds sit in water all night long and then I just remove the filter with the grinds in the morning so it’s not strong IMO! 💕💕

I was wondering where you got the pump bottles as well.
If you are pouring your coffee grounds down the sink you are asking for trouble. Major sludge build up in your pipes and a costly plumbing bill is in your future. Just a heads up, best to put them in the trash or recycle in the compost.

I would also try black rifle Coffee cold brew coffee. It is very easy to make. All you have to do is follow. The directions on the back and the ground coffee already comes in coffee Pouches And you may have to order it online at black rifle coffee But arrogant, it is very good

I always pour my cold brew through a paper filter after making it in one of those devices to remove the fine debris that is left from the filter.
I’ve got a funny (and slightly terrifying) cold brew story for you! So, one time I was making cold brew with my French press-nothing fancy, just let the coffee infuse in the fridge like usual. But I totally forgot about it, and it ended up steeping for 36 hours.
The next day, I poured two big cups for me and my wife (about 20 oz each), and we headed to Walmart to grab some clothes for our kids. That’s when things got weird. I started feeling like I was on some kind of wild trip-the room was spinning a bit, everything seemed brighter, and I was super jittery. Turns out, the longer you let cold brew steep, the more caffeine you get. And we each had over 800 mg of caffeine in one go!
For context, the recommended max is around 300 mg in Canada, 400 mg in the U.S. I was a mess for 12 hours until that crazy caffeine high finally wore off. Now, I make sure not to let my cold brew infuse for more than 16 hours-never want to go through that again!
Just thought I’d share that cold brew adventure with you. And by the way, thanks to your gadget recommendation, I ordered one myself. Cheers from Alberta!
Im from Boston DUNKS NATION.....ive been making my cold brew at home for 2 years now but the plastic bottles are expensive and take up so muxh room in the trash. I brokenmy heart throwing them out. I ordered the carafe. I cant wait to use it!

Yep! No measuring just fill it to the top of the mesh!
@@Amanda_Fadul i have a different pitcher (47oz) and the mesh part where coffee goes, goes all the way up unline yours that stops and then there’s a plastic part on the top.. so I had to eyeball it because I thought filling it with coffee all the way to the top would cause the grounds to overflow!!
It will almost be 20hrs by the time I get it out of the fridge and I have stirred the grounds a couple times today so I’m hoping it will turn out good tomorrow!
As a Jersey girl myself, I have six Dunkin' donuts within 2 mi of my house and any direction I feel like going. But I think this can definitely save me money. Thank you for your tutorial I will definitely be doing this. By the way exit 9

Those containers seal really well so just lay it flat in the fridge..and give it a shake a few times before its done steeping.if you grind your beans coursely , as suggested by the pros, you still need to filter this again..lots of sediment even with this container.

I drink Dunkin cold brew all the time but sometimes they screw it up so I’m going to try this! And it’ll save me from spending $5.13 everyday. & definitely not unpopular opinion Starby’s always tastes bitter to me
