I use about a cup & half or 24 tablespoons of Dunkin Dark Roast and my brewer holds 64 ozs of water or 2 quarts. After brewing drinking it straight is strong and definitely not the way you get it from Dunkin so I tend to use the cold brew I make as a concentrate and add water to it. I've been experimenting a bit but found that if I use 16 ozs (2 cups) of brew with 4 ozs of water and some ice, I get 4 morning servings from 1 batch or 4 20 oz cold brews for my morning commute to work. On days I feel like I need more kick, I just go straight concentrate, ha! It's definitely much cheaper than buying a large cold brew every day and if I use the Dunkin apps for points when I buy the bags of coffee I get a freed drink every so often!
M B thank you for the great video and the quick and informative reply! I to am a Fresh affordable Coffee lover and hope I finally have the perfect ratio to make awesome cold brew thanks to you !
Robert Jensen Yes, I’ll drain the grinds and leave the filter out. One batch can last three days because I mix the cold brew with some water in the morning 👍
There are two way to use this system. You can put the grounds in the filter as shown in the video or you can just put them directly in the jar. If you do it the way he showed in the video you would have to take the filter out before pouring. If you put the grounds directly in the jar and then put the filter in, once done brewing, you can just open the flip top and pour out your cold brew without worrying about the grounds coming out.
Teri Bussard While I agree this is technically correct, I believe it would have the same issues I observed in my French Press method. I found in the press that the grounds floated to the top and I didn’t get a complete brew. I also think the loose grounds would be pretty messy when you go to clean it out for a fresh batch. Thanks for the comment!
I use one cup of ground coffee in my 2 quart jar. It comes out perfect to where I can drink it as is and not have to water it down. If I use 2 cups of grounds I end up having a concentrated cold brew and have to add water.
@@teririvera this is exactly what i need to do. i have 2quart size but 2 cups is too concentrate like i want the deep flavor so i leave it for a longer time but don't wanna have to water it down.
I’ve been making cold brew using this system, it’s awesome 🤩
Completely agree!!
Thank you for the tutorial! Im glad you dont need paper filters for this so i can be more sustainable!
I agree! I’ll have to do an update video on how it’s been holding up
How much ground coffee goes in the filter?🦌💌❤️☕️
scroll down a little bit and the answer is a couple of threads down.
I appreciate the “reminder to fill up the water”! 😝
Yes! I learned 😂
How much coffee did you use?
Do you use one cup of coffee grounds
I agree with the comment at the end lol
How much coffee grounds and water do you use for this set up wanna get as close to Dunkin’ as possible

I usually make them get the cold brew straight outta the back not watered down. So good.
Had to go with Godinger. I needed BIGGERRRRR, MOREEEEE, LOTSSSS❣️🤣 but I do have this in service cups!
More is definitely better!!
do you take out the filter after its done brewing for the 12 hours?

Yes, carefully & discard the grounds … but if you’re a gardener
Save the grounds & with or without water, put the grounds on your plants
@@teririvera - I never thought of it like that, using the filter in reverse! Thanks!
Why don’t you specify how much coffee goes in the filter?????
Exactly, so annoying!! Moving on…
How many cups of coffee grounds per jar?
Rocío Medellín so I just made a batch this morning and measured out 2 cups 👍

If I’m using creamer in the coffee would I still need to water it down? When using the 2 cup concentrate method
@@teririvera - thanks, I will try that for starters & then adjust as I go (unless the 1 cup) for the 2 quart jar does the trick
Many thanks 😊
Oh this is super nice, very interesting video. Thanks for sharing 😊👍 Happy Weekend
Shirley Thank you Shirley! This is my favorite brewer and being able to use the coffee from Dunkin makes it awesome!
I have that lid, but there’s a better one that has a handle……so much easier to pour with!👍
You talk way too much! Just get to the freaking point.
why this system over a french press
you'll be saving $84 smart man making it at home is much more tasteful
Took forever to get to the point
My apologies
How much coffee do you put in?
Maybe 3/4 of a cup, I fill the cone about 3/4 the way up and that seems to do a nice job
@@MB-yw6rd thank you.
@@MB-yw6rd do you leave the coffee sitting outside or in the fridge?
