That's because the GP7200 uses a scaled down core from the GE90 (hence the amazing spool up sound) and fan design + low pressure components from the PW4000. Engine Alliance is a 50/50 joint venture between General Electric and Pratt & Whitney.
That Rolls-Royce A380 engine roar sounds like a bear roaring so I would go with Rolls-Royce
Definitely the RR😍
TRENT 900: loud roar and quiet jet blast
GP7000: quiet roar and loud jet blast
The roar of rr sound like a helicopter mixes with a jet engine
The rr is quiet engine blast because the roar outloud the blast so we cant clewrly hear it
imagine an a380 using one of each on each wing
@@FootballisLife11993that would be totally the opposite, the jet blast overpowers the buzzsaw on alot of planes
Definitely rr I love that roar
Me too
Also the GP7200 sounded like GE90 and PW4000 at the same time

You beat me to this comment by over 2 years
That's because it is
Trent 900 is an absolute beast!
Both are amazing engines!
RR for the win I absolutely love that roar
Emirates most likely operate the A380 in Toronto Pearson Airport by using the 4x GP7270 but this past summer, they operate it with Trent 972
EA for spool up
RR for TOGA/FLX sound
Rolls-Royce is my fav!
Good choice 🙂👍
Rolls Royce wins
Also, can I say that the Trent 900 has a better TOGA thrust sound than the GP7200?
They can both sound the same to some degree.
Both! stunning audio recording! I just can't simply choose one of them
Both sound absolutely majestic
I love a bit of roar from those quad rr trent engines
Fantastic Super sonic sound Rolls Royce Trent 972 and Engine Alliance GP 7270
Brutal Engine Roar
Give me a Trent 900 anytime just because I can hear that growl from the engine fans!!
The gp7000 is pretty nice but I love the rr that roar is the best.
The best engine sound is Rolls Royce Trent 900 because of the unbelievable sound ❤
Rolls-Royce sounds the best!!!
EA GP700. Takeoff performance is visibly better with the GP 7000, which is clearly more powerful.
RR... awesome. Liked and subscribed!
I prefer the EA-GP7000
Prefer Engine Alliance
RR all day
0:40 vs 1:50
Definitely RR on A380
The EA does really sound like a GE90 + PW4000
RR all the way.
RR. 4xRR972B-84+METOTS (modified engine takeoff thrust setting). 😱😱😱
Absolutely the RR
The RR sound like GE90 or LEAP 1-A
RR for me
GP7200s were the PW4000 for A380s
ROOOOOOLLS!
Rr best enfine❤
Imagine an a380 with 4x ge9x
Too Heavy
RRrrrolls anyday............for every modern western aircraft type BTW...........
Nice video
What means C58 Y557?
Definitely RR 🤩
people: wow trent 900 is so good
ge90: oh so your approaching me trent 900?
YES YES A JOJO REFERENCE

I like how there’s like 2 spool ups . What is the reason for this ?
It's to make sure the engines are stabile (shaking due to natural freq.) Before they go into takeoff thrust.
GP7000
Best is the RR
Trent by a mile.
GP7200 FTW
Are u friends with Jamlidd?
No, why? :-)
@@Turbinesoundstudios Your videos are very reminiscent of Jamlidd's.
A380-842 is the most powerful
0:38, 0:54 😍😍
EA is a bit noisy
RR
Rolls Royce better because of its roar
imagine it with GE90💀
The plane who be more powerful and economic
In ohio
@@Damy_29damn you’re so funny
No it wouldn't. your sacrificing thrust for economics.@@MBEATZ331
None. For it with TF39s
Rolls-Royce ♥ ♥ ♥.
RR❤️
There's something menacing about the 7000's. I like it.
Can't stand the buzzsaw of Trents.
God the A380 is ugly...
Rolls Royce wins
Rolls Royce is better!
GP 7000 is better
GP7200 is the best❤❤❤❤, Trent900🤮🤮🤮
