Putting the bagels back in the bag is some genius-level momming.
Right?!! My mind was blown!
I started doing this after watching this video... The first time😂🤣 GENIUS
Youre pronouncing bagel wrong- so cringy
Girl YES! Lol. I’m a mom of 6 and we have all kinds of things in recycled bread and tortilla bags😂😂
Always reused those bagel bags 💛
You don't need to explain or justify your super cool yogurt parfait treat. You are already doing so much more than most of us. Treating your kids is never a mistake 😉
When I make my freezer breakfast sandwiches, I always pull my eggs with 5 minutes left in the bake-time. Then I add a thin layer of sliced cheese and top with my (cooked) bacon. When the cheese melts, it adheres the bacon, egg and cheese together so that the bacon doesn’t fall out when you’re eating.
Genius!
I do the same - cant stomach overcooked eggs😊
I love that all of this meals are affordable as well as things people would actually eat.
Scrambled eggs idea to prevent sticking to pan. Cook till almost done, cover pan and remove from heat. Allow to sit and wait while you prep other items ( maybe five minutes) the heat of the pan finishes cooking the eggs and the steam created by covering the pan loosens eggs stuck to pan.
I’m vegan and I still watched the entire thing! Addicted to these large family prep videos! Woman, you are such a force! Your family is so lucky to have you dedicate so much care into their food!
So nice to meet you..
Same. I think it's because she was so inclusive. Just Egg has made most of these recipes possible for us too!!!
@@MW-gw5sq just egg would be way to expensive to do i think, at least where I live. I have tried tofu scramble, putting that in burritos and freezing them, they turned out great!
I love this, what mothers do to ensure their children are eating well always going above and beyond and the Bible scripture at the end was just a beautiful ending ☺️ God bless you x
Have a wonderful day
I love that you re-use the bagel bags instead of putting them in baggies or something. So much meal prep out there uses a ton of plastic. I'm not the best at cutting out plastic, but I do what I can. Some things are just no-brainers.
Thanks for watching
Something else that might save a little bit on the plastic bags, at least in my experience in the restaurants that I've worked at, they leave bacon out all day and all night. So you could just set it to the side, or in my case, I would have to get a ladder and put it up somewhere high so I couldn't get to it until I was ready to make the sandwiches!😏
Nice to see people who are mindful of waste! Meal prep has really helped me with that
I’m single and have only one child, but him and myself would so benefit from doing these sorts of things! Because I also work full time and am so tired at the end of the day to make dinner 😩
Yes a great thing to do for sure to save time
Same and I always premake breakfast sandwiches for my son. It's so convenient and not to mention you save money. Try it!
@@kedra626 oh that’s such a good idea Thankyou!
I eat the same thing each night of the week. Monday is spaghetti and meatballs.Frozen broccoli, tossed salad Tuesday are taco Tuesday. Refried bean and rice burritos with lettuce, tomato, salsa Wednesday. Microwave baked potato topped with baked beans and cheese with carrots and salad, Thursday is ramen soup with hard boiled egg, carrot and shredded cabbage in the broth, Fridays we make pizza using flour tortilla base, spaghetti sauce, mozerella cheese and toppings. I put it in medhigh heat skillet and cover until cheese melts. Saturday I cook a whole chicken in my crockpot to make chicken and noodles. Sunday use leftover chicken to make chicken fried rice with veggies. I never have to think about it. Obviously sometimes we eat sale foods instead. Like when hamburger was cheaper. PS I often finish cooking dinner before I start my day.
Thanks for sharing
You are the QUEEN of multitasking! I would surely burn the french toast, and probably the eggs too!
Thank you 😊
I was thinking the exact same thing
That part!!!!! Who would have burned 1/4 of this?😂
@@callmepj4333 heck I would have burnt water
OMG I watched your breakfast goodies these are awesome for single older people like myself to save time in the morning. I'm tired of cooking every morning watching your ideas for preparing breakfast to freeze great ideas. I took my butt to the store and purchased most of your items and prepared them for two weeks for myself. I'm so happy thank and many blessings to you and yours. Nita
Told my husband next time I get pregnant, we're getting a deep freezer and I am going to meal prep like this! Thank you for the awesome content!
New idea: teach your husband how to cook. My husband loves to cook the whole week.
Why wait? I do it for only me.
Inspired by this wonderful woman I started freezer meal prepping a bit at a time. By the time I had my second child I stocked a whole deep freezer full. It was the best decision I ever made, especially with my first born doing his toddler thing. It allowed me to continue to take care of my family the way I love to spoil them and assimilate being a mother of two.
My problem is, I'd eat the entire bag of bacon like chips.
🤣 same
Yep. 🤦♀️
Me too!
😂😂😂😂😂🥓🥓🥓🥓
Omg this comment made me cackle 🤣🤣🤣
This is incredible. Also I love how your kitchen is still pretty tidy at the end? I still haven't mastered "cleaning as you go"
This was so enjoyable to watch.
I'm getting better at the cleaning as I go. I really helps to have a sink full of hot soapy water while I'm cooking. When I'm done using a pan it goes right into the water and I can wash it whenever I have a moment or two free. Also is so helpful when I need to wash my hands and don't have to touch everything to get soap and water going. Hope that helps you!
As a mama of 6 I’m grateful for this. I’m totally using some of these ideas
Those yogurt cups would work so well for veggies and dip or hummus, apply slices and peanut butter, bread sticks and marinara! So many uses!
You have so much energy. Since COVID lockdowns started I seem to move slower. I watch you to get inspired and to get moving at my old pace. Who am I kidding, I never had your energy Amy. You do inspire me. Go girl. God bless you and your beautiful family.
This was my first video of yours and you got me with Scripture at the end.
So nice to meet you
Me too!! First video and I'm vegan but I enjoyed this.
Hello Amy! Sending you lots of love and hugs from dear wife. She has been chronically ill for the last seven years. Today she's feeling like poo. Stuck in bed all day. So please pray for her and send her some love. It will meen the world to her. Thank you so much!
🙏🙏🙏&💞💞💞 coming your way to bring a smile to your face and ease your wife's pain...Keep the Faith, Always, Hope🙂
Have a better day. Hoping you are feeling better soon 🌺
Thanj you so much! You are so kind! Have a wonderful day!
Praying ..tell her i hope she feels better
If u decide get smaller size cups for parfaits could use those you have for side salad and dressing on top or chip and dip.
I love how you talk about the breakfast parfaits. Such a real life talk! Something fun and different 😊
Just adore your practical approach to meal planning. As a mom, I end up stressing over everything lol
No stress
I live alone. I don’t to get married. Don’t want kids. I am not American. Why do I love those large prep means so much? Haha b
Lol you could just do these for yourself and be set for a whole month or two!
Nice to meet you
Well same here nice to meet you from Morocco. I love Amy's videos
I live alone as well, but after finding amys videos last year i made myself a freezer load of meals for myself. I love it. I love keeping my kitchen clean and so many of these meals freeze great. I scale down the recipes to make smaller portions for myself. I will cook this way forever
This makes me smile. Have a wonderful day.
Thank you for being so REAL, not pretentious at all. You're a hard working mom and cook. Thanks for sharing your gift. You have giving me lots of ideas. Be blessed, too.
Thanks for the kind words
Here in AZ we use ground chorizo with eggs, potatoes, and cheese in flour tortilla.
Eggs chorizo and black beans are a go to for me inside breakfast burritos
Yummy
This video is great. The best part is the ending. The reading of the word. Words that are so needed daily in this world.
Yes freezer breakfasts means less mess in the kitchen. Pre cooking bacon is such a help. Every time I watch these videos I say why did I not utilize you tube when my kids were younger and I was working 2 jobs and hubby was going to school and working full time. Your such an inspiration.
Amy thank you for that lovely surprise of the Lords words. I'm a born again Christian and I delight in everything of our Lord Jesus. I'm a crocheter and I follow a few channels and one lady finishes off with a word from God as you did. This is the girds time I came across you. I'm in my 70s and have been on my own 4 years, not needing to do frozen foods anymore, I figure you must have many children or you run boring house. God bless you dear Amy. I look forward to your videos.
Thank you for kind words
I am a born-again Christian as well!
Love connecting with y'all
@@gothgirlatheart3545 Hi, I love that you are a Goth Girl and a born again Christian as well, I'm the same. Love from Amanda in Australia xoxoxoxox 😚❤❤❤👋
@@gothgirlatheart3545 Me too! Hello sister-in-Christ.
Casting Crowns song - “Who am I” - A vapor in the wind Still You hear me when I'm calling Lord, You catch me when I'm falling And You've told me who I am I am Yours, I am Yours Who Am I, that the eyes that see my sin Would look on me with love, and watch me rise again Who Am I, that the voice that calmed the sea Would call out through the rain And calm the storm in me Not because of who I am but because of who You are❤️
I have needed this! I have 7 kids, and cooking is not my favorite thing. You have added peace to my heart by sharing your large family breakfast food prep! I think I can do it, too! Thank you, and may your blessings abound!
You can do it 🙂
Love that u read a Psalm, so good to hear 😊
You really are an inspiration to me. Before I started watching your videos I wasted so much money on food going bad before I could eat it. Now I look at my food that is about to go bad and I look up recipes that I can use them in so they don't go bad and I can use them up. Now that I am working from home I do a lot more cooking and not as much eating out.
Here we are 2 years later and I just found your channel. Your energy is amazing and I have just started doing freezer meals as we are a family of 3 and never thought we needed it but I have since changed my mind as it is awesome to have and saves so much energy in the long run. I love all of your ideas and will be making most of them today. Thank you!
Love this
We had 4 boys and one girl. Now we are empty nesters. I still don't know how to cook for two people. I grew up in a family of twelve and was the oldest. So cooking for a crowd never intimidated me. So when I cook, I freeze half and we eat the same thing for 2 to 3 days. lol.... This video was great. Brought back memories.
Thank you for sharing this :)
Thank you for being just you ❤
I'm going to continue to say that they made that you're a godsend thank you for everything.... I wouldn't ask if I didn't need them but I really need prayers for my health and self... I've been very ill for some time and haven't been able to get transportation to go to a doctor... prayers that I have the strength to go and the means to go.... I'm ever so graciously thankful for who ever pray for me and I'll pray for everybody that needs prayers also.... many blessings to all your families
The lord says if you ask you shall receive...praying
@@amymaryon thank you so much I needed to hear that my prayers go out to you and your family and may you guys always be blessed
My prayers are with you. I have health issues as well (disability & chronic severe nerve pain patient for 25+ years now), and I know how hard it is, especially in times like these. Get a good PCP/GP/Family doctor. Or try and research / go see one, if at all you can. I hope that helps somewhat.
@@amixeblu awww you are so sweet thank you so much yeah I will look into that.. I'm sorry for your aches and pains and I will pray for you everyday thank you so much for praying for me.... may God heal you from the top of your head to the bottom of your feet from your aches and pains and all your ailments that you have
@@fmillermillerf6636 You are so kind. I hope you find some relief for your health issues soon. Hang in there! :)
I need to confess something. This is the first time I ever saw you. I open the video and from the first sentence I clicked the like button I just KNEW I’d love you you give such genuine good vibes.
I am glad to meet you..glad you are here. Have a wonderful day
Wow, those yogurt parfait cups are soooo cool! I'm with you-we don't eat out and I am also always looking for ideas to jazz up my food to make it fun for my kids (they love it when I do)! I was surprised to hear that those yogurt parfaits freeze well. My daughter would love those! Those biscuit gravy cups are unusual-another great idea! No time for cooking for me today---I will be preparing our taxes--blah--ha! But I have an upright freezer on the board so I am crossing my fingers for a refund on those taxes-ha! Have a great day!
Single mom to a 3 year old and you just gave me so many ideas. I lost myself and only eat out for the most part and I hate that for my LO. We’re doing some of these genius ideas next week. Thank you 🙏🏾
Welcome
Haven't been on here for awhile but I haven't forgotten all of your goodness... Bless y'all... Lia from Belmont, NC 💙😇🙏
You work so hard! I hope your family appreciates it.
Fantastic tips! Thank you.
I would like you to consider using mason jars instead of putting all of that single use plastic into the environment which can no longer tolerate our indifference or inconvenience. Microplastics are in EVERYTHING and have contaminated the food chain, there’s a huge oceanic plastic field, the gulf stream is dying, fires are burning us up, floods are everywhere-climate change is real.
Thanks for considering it! 🙏🏻
I love the slushy cup idea! I am on a wellness journey and am working on teaching my children healthy habits. I can see these being a great way to get fruit into our diet but feeling like we are eating something decadent! Yum! Great video! Always inspiring!
Wow!!! You’re amazing!! First time I’ve come across your videos. What a wonderfully dedicated and hard working mother you are. I sincerely hope your family truely appreciate you... I’m sure they do!! Lots of love x
It is so nice to meet you! Glad you are here
Just was recommended this channel...you are amazing. Shared your channel with my daughter, she has five children and she is going to benefit from your know how. Love the scripture reading at the end. God bless you.
I love that you re use the plastic bags!!! Less plastic soup in the oceans, yes! Our children and grandchildren will thank us for recycling, and to me, it all fits in with our duties as keepers of the earth. I don’t know the right terms in English, so I hope you understand what I mean. God bless you!
Wow! Wow! Wow! Great ideas! So organized. What an amazing mom! I used to do once a month cooking for dinners, but have never done breakfasts. I'm getting really burned out on fixing breakfast everyday... My daughter loves yogurt parfaits. We make our own granola... That would be awesome. My hubby loves grilled egg and cheese sandwiches. I bet those would freeze well. Thank you! First time I've seen one of your videos. My fave Psalm--139!
I'm so glad you found me. We read everyday. Have a wonderful day
I hope your family appreciates you. This is some mother loving-ish right here. Go Super Mom!
Smiling
I was not expecting the Psalms at the end! I love that. :) thank you!
You are welcome
My favorite French toast is made with multigrain bread that has seeds and nuts in it! I also make homemade biscuit sandwiches.
I think we're "creped out" love it, those parfaits looked very professional well done. You make it all look so easy to do . God Bless Diana. NZ
These are wonderful! They'll last my family of four an extra-long time, because we can just have cereal or a smoothie on Wednesdays and Fridays (fasting days in the Orthodox Church), and there's no "breakfast" on Sundays before Communion... I can see this lasting us a _very_ long time!!😄 God bless, and thank you for the inspiration & practical advice!☺️☦️💕
Thanks for watching
Amazing woman ☺️❤️
Now, that school is starting, these are great ideas, especially the stuffed biscuits 😋🌄
P.S.
Thank you for the spiritual food as well 🙏🌄🌹💕
You are very welcome.
First off: I want to say you are my hero.
Second of all: you are now my life saver!
You have a life time subscriber now!!!! Thank you!!!
Smiling. Glad you are here
Good morning, Amy. I’ve tried the stuffed biscuits, my family enjoyed them. We don’t go out to eat a lot either. Since the pandemic, I have tried replicate some fast foods for the family which we have all enjoyed. Thank you for sharing. Blessings
I decided to subscribe when you went into the yogurt cup explanation. I love finding someone who thinks like me. Love your ideas and everything. So you have a new subscriber in me!!
Nice to meet you
Same to you. I'm glad I found this video today. I didn't know you could freeze half of this stuff. So again thanks for the upload. Made my first meal prep even easier.
Just want to say: thank you for that beautiful scripture! We all need to remember that♥️🙏🧎♀️🙌🏻
I share everyday :)
My ocd is so happy that you clean as you go!!!! I love doing this. When it’s time to eat or meal prep is done…I’m done too! This is my 1st time here and I’m loving it! You are awesome!!
So nice to meet you
I went from being a mother of one to a mother of 6 and a family of 8. I thank you and I'm following you.
Love your easy-going attitude! Those yogurt parfait cups are great and what a treat for kids!
I LOVE that you put the bagels and french toast back into the bags for storage. Souch less waste and easy!!!
Such lovely flavourful goodies, who wouldn’t like to sit and partake of these. Yum. Thanks for sharing 👍😎
I live in Florida and we put epsom salts around the bases of our palm trees to keep them healthy .
Thank you
I still didn't do any of these recipes because I was too busy watching this and fell asleep. And now I'm hungry and just gonna go buy something...
Makes me smile
Those cups you used for parfaits would also be great for salads and dressing
watching these is so therapeutic for some reason
I always get tickled when you say bagels😁😁😊love your channel
We are a small farm family. We spend $$ every summer on freezer breakfast meals because we need to be out before the sun. Now I have so much easy, Healthier options in the freezer waiting for us. THANK YOU. Now to get on those suppers.
I am glad to be able to share...it helps a ton
If you fold the parchment paper like they do in fast food it will stay closed. I would be afraid of not eating them in time and getting that freezer burnt chew to it. Just an idea.
I wish my kids would eat these things I love this idea of planning ahead and having food ready in the freezer!
How long do you think the parfait cups last in the fridge? That’s brilliant! I will definitely do that for my house!
One week
Like the wide angle of the kitchen and work place
Love these recipes!! The yoghurt parfait treats are a great idea...I will definitely make those to have in the freezer for when the grandkids visit!! Also precooking bacon is brilliant! Living alone never do I want to cook bacon for myself...but precoked is smart and easy to grab, same with making French toast and having them ready! I also do ham and cheese with egg on English muffins in the freezer...these are breakfast foods but also good for lunch, brunch and snacks! Thank you Amy for the new ideas! Have a blessed day...🙏
Thank you
This is one mama who is on it! I give her mad props!!!
My husband adds the same as you do in your french toast plus nutmeg and it's soooo good!
Hi, If you do the toast the night before and since you have to make so many do them in layers between foil and then cover the top with foil and leave them in the fridge overnight they will have even more flavor, also doing cream or half and half.
Omg back in the bagel bag ....brilliant!!!
Lol
Ok, so this is a really technical, nerdy point to make, but aside from being a really technical, nerdy guy, I'm also a very practical guy, who likes cooking and meal prepping.
As such, you may want to look into getting an electric whisk (or using your stand mixer with the proper attachment) to mix just straight up eggs instead of your immersion blender.
Eggs are an emulsion on many different levels and they have the ability to break down, releasing volatile sulfur based components, as will happen when you stick an immersion blender into a bunch of raw eggs (quite apart from what it will do to the texture when you actually bake those eggs in an oven... YIKES!!!). Those, sulfur based, volatiles will creep straight past the seals in your machine and will just break it over time.
I mean, it's ok to use the immersion blender to make mayonnaise, as that's basically mixing an egg yolk into some acids and a bunch of oil... the oil, being the main component, protecting your machine. This is not the case when you just decide to cut corners , damaging your equipment in the proces.
I can see myself making mason jar-like salads and putting the dressing up there or the croutons. Cool ideas. Over here with my one son like, "Pizza?"
For the fruit slushie: if you puree the fruit before freezing, on a hot day, they would be more like a traditional slushie like you by in the stores.
We stopped by for the Parfaits and stayed for the Psalm! 💝
“We’re all craped out.” I know you didn’t intend this as a joke but LOL 😂
Awesome video. I'm living the great tips I'm learning. Can't wait to try myself
I think those yogurt cups are *fantastic* I mean you pay 59 euro cents for a 150gram little pot of yogurt + fruit here, I mean this is for the kind I eat which is Skyr yogurt, the Icelandic kind. This looks great. I'd eat it! :)
I always learn so much from your videos. I'm 63 and I truly loved the freezer meal plan video for one. This video was terrific. Thanks again and God Bless.
I appreciate you
When you said at the start you had 5 bagels I thought that was it. Not 5 packs of bagels!!! Seriously impressive.
She is such a hard working women 👍👍🙋♀️
I love you sis. God bless you and your family and be with you always.💖🙏💖 I learned about breakfast meal planning but at the end when you read the scripture just touched my heart so and it came from a genuine heart. Again God bless and be with you and yours. Keep up the amazing work my friend.💖🥰💖
Thank you ❤️
Hey lady! Looks delightful! I love making breakfast tacos to have in the freezer. We are plant based at home so they are slightly variant in ingredients but they are amazing. Basically, they are egg, chorizo, o'brien potatoes, cheese and a bunch of cilantro. They are delicious and we never get tired of them! LOL. Here in Texas when we lost power for 10 days I could take several, I individually wrapped in foil, and roll them around the top of my wood fire stove to reheat and crisp them slightly, it was a real treat for us. So just if you're looking for a variant on breakfast tacos.
hi amy 😃 you are a machine ...theres no stopping you ....pro in the kitchen alll looks very tasty ....them slush cups might help steer me away from the ice cream in summer ... another top tip from amy 🌈🧡
I live alone now for the last year (husband moved to nursing home) so I don’t cook like I use to. I seem to eat the same thing every day. This looked like the answer I’ve been looking for !!!!! Thanks!
Welcome 😀
I wanna have kids just so I can meal prep like this 😂
🤣🤣🤣
Found you by accident but I couldn't stop watching and you finished with a psalm!!! God bless you for this and yes I've subscribed!
I'm glad you are here. Thanks for kind words
Did you ever make French toast using the cinnamon swirl bread with raisins in it? I fry up only one pound of bacon and keep it the fridge to have with dippy or scrambled eggs throughout the week.
Delicious..haven't but would be good
Loved the recipes. The psalms was the best part.
This is amazing! I never had a big family growing up just my mom and three other siblings but luckily my older brother and i love cooking. When were were younger my mom would do all the cooking before she left to work. I appreciate how hard you work to provide these meals! Moms are so amazing. These meals are giving me ideas for packing breakfast and lunch.
Thank you for your kind words
If you run out of maple extract, you could try maple flavored syrup ( yes for pancakes ) just a suggestion
I've substituted vanilla extract for maple syrup with success!

I sometimes find that I get a better price per oz on yogurt that was psckaged in smaller containers. Really confuses me.
This definitely takes access to better resources, time, and a decent kitchen but I’m sure videos like this are helpful for inexperienced parents or those looking for more efficient ways to spend their days.
Thank you for all of the recipes you show so grateful, Blessings to you and your family. The inspirational passage I enjoy.
You are a breath of fresh air! This is the first time to watch you, and I will be watching from now on.
It is so nice to meet you
