When I make my freezer breakfast sandwiches, I always pull my eggs with 5 minutes left in the bake-time. Then I add a thin layer of sliced cheese and top with my (cooked) bacon. When the cheese melts, it adheres the bacon, egg and cheese together so that the bacon doesn’t fall out when you’re eating.

Scrambled eggs idea to prevent sticking to pan. Cook till almost done, cover pan and remove from heat. Allow to sit and wait while you prep other items ( maybe five minutes) the heat of the pan finishes cooking the eggs and the steam created by covering the pan loosens eggs stuck to pan.

Something else that might save a little bit on the plastic bags, at least in my experience in the restaurants that I've worked at, they leave bacon out all day and all night. So you could just set it to the side, or in my case, I would have to get a ladder and put it up somewhere high so I couldn't get to it until I was ready to make the sandwiches!😏

I eat the same thing each night of the week. Monday is spaghetti and meatballs.Frozen broccoli, tossed salad Tuesday are taco Tuesday. Refried bean and rice burritos with lettuce, tomato, salsa Wednesday. Microwave baked potato topped with baked beans and cheese with carrots and salad, Thursday is ramen soup with hard boiled egg, carrot and shredded cabbage in the broth, Fridays we make pizza using flour tortilla base, spaghetti sauce, mozerella cheese and toppings. I put it in medhigh heat skillet and cover until cheese melts. Saturday I cook a whole chicken in my crockpot to make chicken and noodles. Sunday use leftover chicken to make chicken fried rice with veggies. I never have to think about it. Obviously sometimes we eat sale foods instead. Like when hamburger was cheaper. PS I often finish cooking dinner before I start my day.

When I'm done using a pan it goes right into the water and I can wash it whenever I have a moment or two free. Also is so helpful when I need to wash my hands and don't have to touch everything to get soap and water going. Hope that helps you!

If you fold the parchment paper like they do in fast food it will stay closed. I would be afraid of not eating them in time and getting that freezer burnt chew to it. Just an idea.

Love these recipes!! The yoghurt parfait treats are a great idea...I will definitely make those to have in the freezer for when the grandkids visit!! Also precooking bacon is brilliant! Living alone never do I want to cook bacon for myself...but precoked is smart and easy to grab, same with making French toast and having them ready! I also do ham and cheese with egg on English muffins in the freezer...these are breakfast foods but also good for lunch, brunch and snacks! Thank you Amy for the new ideas! Have a blessed day...🙏

Hi, If you do the toast the night before and since you have to make so many do them in layers between foil and then cover the top with foil and leave them in the fridge overnight they will have even more flavor, also doing cream or half and half.

Ok, so this is a really technical, nerdy point to make, but aside from being a really technical, nerdy guy, I'm also a very practical guy, who likes cooking and meal prepping.
As such, you may want to look into getting an electric whisk (or using your stand mixer with the proper attachment) to mix just straight up eggs instead of your immersion blender.
Eggs are an emulsion on many different levels and they have the ability to break down, releasing volatile sulfur based components, as will happen when you stick an immersion blender into a bunch of raw eggs (quite apart from what it will do to the texture when you actually bake those eggs in an oven... YIKES!!!). Those, sulfur based, volatiles will creep straight past the seals in your machine and will just break it over time.
I mean, it's ok to use the immersion blender to make mayonnaise, as that's basically mixing an egg yolk into some acids and a bunch of oil... the oil, being the main component, protecting your machine. This is not the case when you just decide to cut corners , damaging your equipment in the proces.

For the fruit slushie: if you puree the fruit before freezing, on a hot day, they would be more like a traditional slushie like you by in the stores.

I think those yogurt cups are *fantastic* I mean you pay 59 euro cents for a 150gram little pot of yogurt + fruit here, I mean this is for the kind I eat which is Skyr yogurt, the Icelandic kind. This looks great. I'd eat it! :)

Hey lady! Looks delightful! I love making breakfast tacos to have in the freezer. We are plant based at home so they are slightly variant in ingredients but they are amazing. Basically, they are egg, chorizo, o'brien potatoes, cheese and a bunch of cilantro. They are delicious and we never get tired of them! LOL. Here in Texas when we lost power for 10 days I could take several, I individually wrapped in foil, and roll them around the top of my wood fire stove to reheat and crisp them slightly, it was a real treat for us. So just if you're looking for a variant on breakfast tacos.

These meals are giving me ideas for packing breakfast and lunch.
