I live in the Netherlands my freezer is the size of a shoe box, the half of the ingredients is not available here, US measurements confuse me, although watching these videos I started to believe things should work out wether I follow the instructions or not! So much fun to watch!
When I lived in Germany on an American base, I learned that they specially added large refrigerator/freezers to our quarters because we purchase large amounts of food at one time, like once a week. But people in other areas purchase food much more often during the week so they have smaller refrigerators and freezers. I was surprised to learn that! Now, many years later, I have 2 because I have to make so much food for my family. I couldn't imagine having to go to the store nearly every day for stuff. Wow!
I’m in America, so I can fit a lot in my freezer, but I rarely put meals in there. I prefer to cook things fresh, and I usually have fresh ingredients on hand that need to be used. But I still love freezer meal prep videos! 🤣 I think as humans we just feel good, knowing that food exists. It makes me happy to see that someone with a family has a ton of backup food.

As amusing as it was watching you struggle with opening the jar, try this in the future grab a butter knife (or something like it) and slip it between the lid and the jar and slightly twist until you hear the lid pop (if it is a vacuum sealed jar) and it should be a lot easier to open

Splash of hot water to loosen a jar top also mix in coconut oil to the chocolate so you don’t have to take it out so often and it won’t burn so quickly

i always keep a cup on table that i put those rubber bands in around veggies. When you need to open something they come in handy. Put one around the lid it comes off easy.
So true I remember when my girl we're babies, my daughters were 1 and her sister was 6 months old and I had a bubble pram and I was catching a bus with a two weeks with of shopping on the pram and about to get on the bus and bus driver refused me and my girl on the bus the worse thing was no one was on the bus so I said fine I'll walk home so I started walking home which was a fair distance from where I lived in the by the time j got halfway home I had to stop to change my daughters' nappies so I stopped at KFC but I couldn't get the pram through the door so I when across the road from and went into DMV and I said after I changed my girls I made my youngest daughter a bottle I went upstairs and I ask the lady behind the counter if I could take my learners to test she said since it was quite I could she asked if I had anyone to watch my babies u said no I'm coming home doing shopping she no at first but she talked to her supervisor she saw That I had shopping she let me do the test so here I am at the DMV with both my daughters my youngest woke up just before the test began to cry I started giving her bottle while doing the test I finally finished I just waiting for the testing officer to come back which took so long I ask how did u you went I felt like crap tired and just wanted to get home I pass the test which I never studied for and having my girls with me it was a funny thing that the next morning I went back on the bus the same bus driver I had the day before the was on!!!! I was about to get on the bus and he knew it was me he said to me oh you again!!!! He was so rude I made sure to take his ID number and then I got out my driver's license to showed him and I said to him Oh in sorry for being an inconvenience to you yesterday I would rather walk to the shop that is closer to me the catch a bus with a rude ashole

Pro tip for cooking the eggs for the egg sandwiches: Crack one egg into each of cup a greased muffin tin and lightly scramble them with a fork. Bake them at 350 for about 15 minutes. Wayyy easier than doing each on individually, and you still get the nice round edges to fit on an english muffin. :)
Generally the reason people individually wrap some items for the freezer is it prevents freezer burn. But if you have a big family, like I do, the food usually gets eaten before freezer burn can occur. You having your baby on your hip reminded me of when mine were that small - the kid that is; not the hips! We have 6 children and the last 4 were all a year apart. Sometimes I had the newborn in the front pack, 1yr old in the backpack, and the 3 & 4 year olds pulling on either side. Fortunately it didn’t last long. Thank you for sharing.

When you said "I got the skills to pay the bills" I immediately thought "A-wella', wella', wella', wella', welcome back I don't sell bullets and I don't sell crack" because Beastie Boys.
When i do freezer breakfast sandwiches i assemble and then throw them back on a parchment lined sheet pan and freeze til they’re solid, then throw in a ziplock, then i know they won’t stick together.. also burritos i cook sausage and bacon together (or i use the precooked crumbled bacon after the sausage is browned).. then add diced ham and throw it in a bowl, then i add my onions and bell peppers (aaaaaaaand if you have diced green Chile’s in a can... freaking yum) & frozen hash browns to the sausage grease, cook til done, add to bowl of meat, then i cook the eggs in the same pan and add to the bowl and mix it all together, along with some cheese. Then i only have to scoop one thing into the shells!!! 😁 then i roll them all and throw them on a parchment lined sheet pan into the freezer til solid and throw into a ziplock, or if I’m making them for hubby to take in the mornings i wrap in foil because he has a hot box in his log truck. Also.. i struggle to open jars (eyeroll...i swear I don’t need no man🤣) but run it under hot water! The lid! It should help loosen it And omg yessssssssss hold me closer tony danza 😆😆🙌🏼🙌🏼 Omg.... youre using you instant pot insert to mix your dry ingredients 😅😆 glad to see youre at least using it lol
THE WADS I seriously just throw whatever I have in there. Sometimes they’re simple with just one meat, eggs, and cheese, and other times they’re busting at the seams with stuff lol! I want to add finely shredded zucchini next time to sneak some more veggies into our diets. 😉🙀

I live in UK in a tiny house with no garage, shed etc. We have one regular fridge freezer top/bottom. There are 3 of us. I would love to do all this as I'm disabled, but I couldn't afford the ingredients in one go, or have space to freeze it all. But these dishes look amazing, well done to you. So true I remember when my girl we're babies, my daughters were 1 and her sister was 6 months old and I had a bubble pram and I was catching a bus with a two weeks with of shopping on the pram and about to get on the bus and bus driver refused me and my girl on the bus the worse thing was no one was on the bus so I said fine I'll walk home so I started walking home which was a fair distance from where I lived in the by the time j got halfway home I had to stop to change my daughters' nappies so I stopped at KFC but I couldn't get the pram through the door so I when across the road from and went into DMV and I said after I changed my girls I made my youngest daughter a bottle I went upstairs and I ask the lady behind the counter if I could take my learners to test she said since it was quite I could she asked if I had anyone to watch my babies u said no I'm coming home doing shopping she no at first but she talked to her supervisor she saw
That I had shopping she let me do the test so here I am at the DMV with both my daughters my youngest woke up just before the test began to cry I started giving her bottle while doing the test I finally finished I just waiting for the testing officer to come back which took so long I ask how did u you went I felt like crap tired and just wanted to get home I pass the test which I never studied for and having my girls with me it was a funny thing that the next morning I went back on the bus the same bus driver I had the day before the was on!!!! I was about to get on the bus and he knew it was me he said to me oh you again!!!! He was so rude I made sure to take his ID number and then I got out my driver's license to showed him and I said to him Oh in sorry for being an inconvenience to you yesterday I would rather walk to the shop that is closer to me the catch a bus with a rude ashole

Pro tip for cooking the eggs for the egg sandwiches: Crack one egg into each of cup a greased muffin tin and lightly scramble them with a fork. Bake them at 350 for about 15 minutes. Wayyy easier than doing each on individually, and you still get the nice round edges to fit on an english muffin. :)
Generally the reason people individually wrap some items for the freezer is it prevents freezer burn. But if you have a big family, like I do, the food usually gets eaten before freezer burn can occur. You having your baby on your hip reminded me of when mine were that small - the kid that is; not the hips! We have 6 children and the last 4 were all a year apart. Sometimes I had the newborn in the front pack, 1yr old in the backpack, and the 3 & 4 year olds pulling on either side. Fortunately it didn’t last long. Thank you for sharing.

I always like to add nutmeg to my French toast. The casserole looks great!
Oh I love the way she cook soo perfect imperfect like every woman is and she focus in cooking and teach us.
To open jars, I use a metal spoon. Just wedge it under the lid, curved side against the jar and tilt. Breaks the seal every time 😊
When i do freezer breakfast sandwiches i assemble and then throw them back on a parchment lined sheet pan and freeze til they’re solid, then throw in a ziplock, then i know they won’t stick together.. also burritos i cook sausage and bacon together (or i use the precooked crumbled bacon after the sausage is browned).. then add diced ham and throw it in a bowl, then i add my onions and bell peppers (aaaaaaaand if you have diced green Chile’s in a can... freaking yum) & frozen hash browns to the sausage grease, cook til done, add to bowl of meat, then i cook the eggs in the same pan and add to the bowl and mix it all together, along with some cheese. Then i only have to scoop one thing into the shells!!! 😁 then i roll them all and throw them on a parchment lined sheet pan into the freezer til solid and throw into a ziplock, or if I’m making them for hubby to take in the mornings i wrap in foil because he has a hot box in his log truck.
Also.. i struggle to open jars (eyeroll...i swear I don’t need no man🤣) but run it under hot water! The lid! It should help loosen it

THE WADS I seriously just throw whatever I have in there. Sometimes they’re simple with just one meat, eggs, and cheese, and other times they’re busting at the seams with stuff lol! I want to add finely shredded zucchini next time to sneak some more veggies into our diets. 😉🙀

I live in UK in a tiny house with no garage, shed etc. We have one regular fridge freezer top/bottom. There are 3 of us. I would love to do all this as I'm disabled, but I couldn't afford the ingredients in one go, or have space to freeze it all.
