just a note because I hear this a lot: the liquid you poured out after cooking the ground beef doesn’t actually have a ton of fat, it’s mainly water. allowing the water to cook out and letting the beef brown a bit not only makes the meat less grey, but also gives it better depth of flavour. cheers!

I also love that smell. But When I was pregnant I would separately eat olives, onions, and garlic, by themselves. By the spoonful. And my favorite was mixing all of those things together with Brussel sprouts balsamic vinegar ,Dijon mustard and honey

We're probably going to start at 35 weeks doing all this. We did this with our first and OMG it SUPER helped. I'm so glad I found a pinterest board that recommended this kind of prep before a baby ahhaha. There will be days you hardly leave the couch. Days where you can't remember the last time you slept and OMG this is a life saver. Especially when you have children as well as the newborn. My husband loves to cook, but with 6 weeks of ready meals, it just gave us so much more time to devote to things we needed--rest. rest. baby stuff. rest.
