Fyi, stick a straw in the bag, seal around it and suck the air out, good alternative to trying to squish the air out n scrunching your food :) awesome station, you do n excellent job!!!
I don’t know why this came into my feed, I don’t have a large family to cook for, I don’t eat breakfast but for some reason I still watched all 26 minutes
It's probably in the comments somewhere, but it's so much easier to line a sheet pan with foil and bake bacon instead of doing it on a stove top. Plus, you can cook more at one time! I put the bacon on an oven-safe wire rack that sits in the pan to help it crisp better, too.
I have been doing freezer meals for 2 years now probably. Idk why she liked your comment but didn’t answer lol!!!! Anyways, it really depends on what you are reheating. With the breakfast burritos, you could get away with heating them frozen but they will come out kind of gummy if you do that so I suggest you thaw a weeks supply and warm them as you go wrapped in a paper towel. When you run out, thaw another batch! The pancakes and French toast are so easy for us. We pop them in the toaster oven for like 10 minutes or so right out of the freezer! The breakfast sandwiches are also something you wanna thaw first because if you go right out of the freezer, they get kind of gummy. If for some reason you forgot to defrost something, just wrap in a damp paper towel and heat up to counteract the bread from getting too chewy. For casseroles and lasagnas, I would thaw them overnight first. If you toss them in frozen, you will be waiting for hours on end seriously.
In France, French toast are called pain perdu and we do it with leftover baguette when it's getting hard. We also use some kind of cake called brioche. It was done this way in order not to throw old bread back in the days. Love your videos, always so inspiring!!
My aunt is Italian (first generation born American) and that's how she taught me to make French toast as well! Always with leftover baguettes that are a little stale. It's how her mother and grandmother always made it. Best French toast ever!
Told my husband I need to think of some freezer breakfasts the kids can reheat after I have my c-section.... and then this is in my news feed the next day 😱😱😱😍😍😍😍 Thankyou thankyou thankyou
😂😂 I thought of ways to substitute for my plant based , this is good. I even changed my work schedule to have 1 extra day off, so i can devote a day to meal prep . I don't have children , so as much prep isnt needed , i probably wont have to prep as much either. Either way i plan on finishing everything in a day.
If you wrap the burritos in wax paper instead of the plastic wrap or foil, you do not need to unwrap them at all to “nuke” them in the microwave. You can warm them up wrapped in wax paper! You can also STILL store the wax paper wrapped breakfast (or dinner!) burritos in the freezer inside the Freezer Ziplock Baggies.
Donna Norris well most plastic wrap can actually be put into the microwave. for the paper towel wrapping usually it’s a wet paper towel to invite moisture back into the burrito so it’s not too dry
Hi, thanks for this video, I really love it. Could you show us how to reheat the meals in another video? I'm new on this and I don't know how to do it. Thanks a lot!!!
If it's frozen sanwiches just wrap it in a damp paper towel and pop it in the microwave. Regular freezer meals you still just pop it in the microwave. I take off the container cover and replace it with a paper towel
I make these meals a lot and you only need to microwave for 1 to 2 minutes tops... from the freezer - if you thaw in the fridge the night before it's usually about 45 seconds to a minute...
The time and effort that you put into this video.... A like and subscribe doesn't even express my gratitude towards you and this awesome video! Glad your channel was in my recommended 🙂
Only one question...can u plz put in one of ur daily vlogs .. when they get pulled out of freezer and defreze do u let them tho on its own or out of the freezer stright in the micro ??
To make things easier- instead of wrapping individually in saran wrap I use a standard fold over top sandwich bag (old school). It is much quicker and faster, also a large box is usually quite cheap.
This is such a great video. In my town none of us housewives use our freezers like that! I this you American ladies are so smart and I am learning to make freezer meals, too. Thanks for all these great ideas!
Just freezer tip: do a quick freeze of items laid out individually then bag. Ensures items are frozen individually, not sticking together for easy removal. Works well for us always, we refreeze almost anything that ends up in freezer including meats.
I think you did a great job at rolling a burrito and it looked very yummy to. I am a grandma at 54 and I love to see young mothers being enovative with their time. Keep up the excellent work
Great ideas! I love doing freezer breakfast for my parents, easy meals for them! I make up a loaf of French toast and put it back in the bread bag with a label!
Is it possible for you to put together a shopping list for all the ingredients needed for all 10 recipes. I just love this idea. I take care of a disabled veteran which takes up a lot of time. And doing freezer meals would be a big help. Thank you for your recipes.!😊
OMG, you have inspired me! My daughter just started college and this is perfect to freeze for her. And help with the rest of us at home. Thank you so much for the videos!
1bowl: 2 eggs 🥚 Juice and zest of one lemon 🍋 1/2 cup of canola oil 1/2 cup of milk 1/2 cup of sugar 1 tsp of vanilla Whisk 2 bowl: 1 cup of rolled Oats 1 and 1/2 cup Flour 1 and 1/2 tsp of baking soda Dash of salt Mix wet mixture with dry mixture Add 1 cup of raspberries Line muffin tin Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown
this is so awesome. it's so cool what crafty mommas can come up with to save time and prevent stress in their family + every day life! mommas are geniuses!!!
Great video! I'd I may make it suggestion for multitasking, you could always cook your bacon in the oven while making the pancakes/french toast. I've been making it that way for over 3 decades and it just saves me time, plus it keeps the bacon flat and I get to save the bacon grease for cooking later. Thanks for the great recipes!
Thank you for this inspiring video! I have 3.5 year-old triplets and this is going to save me! Thanks for being so genuine and making meal prep approachable and not intimidating!
You got that apron at Walmart. I have the same one, as well as so many others. I can’t cook or clean without my apron. It’s the first thing I put on in the a.m and the last thing I take off, haha! I make everything homemade and by hand including the bread, pancakes and bagels. These are good tips. My Mom did this growing up in the 80’s. It’s about time people are starting to finally catch on. I will use my toaster over to heat up everything, because I don’t own a microwave. They are not healthy 😔. Thank you for the video. I love the muffin idea.. the thing is, I wouldn’t have time to freeze them, the husband and kids would eat them all right out of the oven haha! I love the last recipe. Awesome video for people who want to save time!!
Love your freezer meal days. I bought the big deaper rectangle tupperware from the Dollar Tree. I stack the pancakes in there. You could do the same and skip the bags. I actually stopped freezing them and made a weeks worth. Since my 4 boys ate them fast enough. Sometimes the tupperware is hard to spot or sold out. They are 6.8 qt.
My friend used to make me French toast at least once a month when we lived down the street. The best trick I learned was keep the bread bag and put the cooked French toast back in the bag until you are ready to eat.
I cannot wait to try if not most, all of these! Ooh, also an amazing alternative to using so many plastic ziploc bags could be any type of reusable and recyclable meal prep and storage containers. They can be pretty cheap but even the pricier ones are cheaper in the long run, compared to how much you would spend on ziplocs. It's also pretty awesome how significantly the amount of waste produced declines as well!
Love the way you do your videos... the quieter music I don't have to keep turning down every time you come back to talk! Also, you are a good teacher! I'm looking forward to trying your 30min dinner rolls! Keep up the good work!:-)
Im so glad you're doing freezer meals again!!! That's how i found your channel 3 years ago. Definitely going to have to give this challenge a go, makes me wish i had a chest freezer though.
Thank you!! I love have freezer meals! I don't have children at home, but I'd rather be outside or crafting, so I love the convenience of food cooked up in the freezer!
I know I'm late but this was an amazing video. I need to give a shout out to the griddle (I have the same one and it's awesome) and another shout out to the fact that you used not one single food processor and did everything by hand. I'm sure your family is grateful for all the effort you put into keeping them fed so lovingly. Thank you for all the wonderful and helpful tips. I have liked and subscribed!
Trick for french toast- freeze the bread the night before. Bread doesn't get soggy or soak up too much liquid doing this. Also after french toast is made freeze on a cookie sheet single layer after frozen stack in your bags and they won't stick together ❤
You’re my hero! Wow!!!!! So glad I found your channel. I am a SAHM of a 4yr old girl and 21 month old boy/girl twins. My husband works long hours. So it’s just me. My daughter just started prek and also dances - and I’ve been overwhelmed with our new schedule. Always in a rush and I feel like we eat the same things and my kids hate it 😫 this gave me SO MUCH inspiration and I feel like if I took a few hours of my Sunday afternoons I could prep for the whole week and better utilize my time without having to make all these meals each day. 🙌🏽♥️🤯 thank you sooo much! And boy is this RIGHT on time because it’s grocery day on Saturday!!!!!
This is so perfect and timely! We’re empty nesters who both work outside the home and Mr. Hubster was just called as Bishop. Quick meals are higher priority then ever before! Thank you, thank you! I’ll be working on filling my freezer with this deliciousness right away!
Thank you for sharing easy ideas for freezer breakfast meals. I too am a night owl and as much as I love breakfast, I don't function in the mornings well. This inspires me to prep more for my kids in the mornings. I already prep my husband's food in advance, now it is time to do it for the rest of us.
Momumental Discoveries do you know of any freezer dinner meals that are enough for lunch the next day?? When I cook dinner at night, I usually have enough for lunch the next day for my husband and I’m also trying to get ready for my first baby!!
This week has been super busy, I am a full time nursing student with two kids. Prepped the breakfast burritos and they were such a hit with my family, and easy. Thanks for the great ideas! I will certainly use this again.
Im 24 and engaged and finally trying to get into a more healthy and productive lifestyle! I had no idea where to start and have felt so intimidated about my lack of knowledge. Thankful for finding this video 🙏
I run a school age program and have to follow the meal plans they give us along with the groceries. Today they gave us pancakes so I heated them in the toaster and put butter and cinnamon+sugar on it and it was a big hit!☺️
Why is this channel so under-rated 😲 u should have a MIL for sure. U are doing EVERYTHING PERFECTLY. WOW !! options ✔ Quick n easy ✔ creativity ✔ aesthetic ✔ background music low ✔ video length ✔ EVERYTHING!!
Kimmy you read my mind! I am a stay at home mom to a 3 year old and a 6 month old, plus I keep kids in my home for in-home daycare, PLUS home school my daughter! I started a freezer series on my channel last week too because life is crazy, and freezer meals save my butt! I did some freezer dinners you would love already on my channel (cilantro lime chicken is super yummy!), and my breakfast ideas go up this Saturday! You are always an inspiration!
I make Breakfast Burritos too, but to save you a step, just lay them out on a cookie sheet like you did with the pancakes, freeze them and once they are set/frozen, you can add them to a Ziplock Bag. I have my kids pick one out the night before and put it in a tupperware and place in fridge at night. Next morning they put on a plate, nuke it for 1 min and I like to grill on both sides with cooking spray (about 1 more minute) to crisp it up. My husband just nukes them for a minute each and eats them! If you forget to defrost in fridge overnight, you can pull them out, do Auto Defrost for about 2.5 min in the microwave, then nuke for one minute to heat through.
Thank you so much for this video!!!! I've been dreading on making breakfast meal preps for my LO and my husband for work and just by watching your video, I'm finally motivated to do so🙌😊
I'm watching this thinking "why have I never done this before??" None of us are morning people and I'm always rushing my kids with their bowl of cereal or oatmeal or grits in the morning. I only make homemade breakfasts on the weekend. My husband always complains about how he wished he had made something for breakfast before he left the house. Then I feel horrible. These are all things that I would make on a weekend morning and never once thought of power cooking breakfast to freeze! Side note, I make a similar breakfast casserole, only I use a can of cresent rolls...roll it out and press it down on the bottom of a 13x9 pan then your meats, veggies, cheese, then pour the egg mixture over and bake as you did, but more like 25 minutes or so. Very yummy and maybe a better alternative to white bread as far as texture. Thanks again for this! Now I want to cook breakfast!
I’m a Mom to a hangry husband, 4 y/o, 2y/o & 4 month old baby so my hands are super tight! My husband is in service so everything at home falls on me. It’s hard enough simply making eggs without my baby crying every 2 1/2 hrs. I struggle so much but somehow I get it done. Thank you for these meal preps. I’m definitely going to fill up ! ❤️ Life savor ! ☺️
This video maybe me feel like I wasn’t very smart when my kids were home. I did burritos, pancakes, tried muffins...they never made the freezer. Great breakfast freezer ideas and I NEVER thought about roasting potatoes . I bet that add a robust flavor. Thanks for sharing.
My goodness...you’re like watching the Energizer Bunny! Terrific ideas. I don’t have a big family either but one can certainly scale down and be good to go for a month or more.
Probably my favorite channel to come across during this coronavirus epidemic with multiple kids at home they're constantly hungry.. Your channel has been awesome for different ideas
Thank you I use to do this when I was a more a stay at home mommy: I miss that season 😭 now I’m at home more . We’re a very frugal family so this is so encouraging-I’ll keep you posted
New to your channel and from the UK. Love so many of these ideas, lots I could use for Lunches as we eat cereal, Homemade pancakes, chocolate Hazelnut waffles and crumpets. But definitely going to make some of these breakfast egg recipes.
I'd love to see how each of these look and have your family taste test. I tend to have a problem with things being soggy or rubbery when I prep meals like this :(
"Egg"cellent breakfast ideas😂 I will be making quite a few- if not all- of these delicious looking meals 😋 I woke up hungry, so now I have many great breakfast ideas to choose from 🙌 so thanks so much 😘 Have a wonderful day 💕 Take care 👍👍👍
Great tips!!! Thank you for all your tips. I have a house with 3 boys. I feel like it’s crazy in the morning if we aren’t prepared. I’m excited to make these to help the mornings go smoother
Your ideas are great. My two grandsons are already talking about how boring their school lunches will be. Some of these ideas are great for school lunch. Eat hot or cold
So many great ideas! Im getting ready to have my 3rd baby so im making dinners to freeze and i think freezer breakfasts will be great too so they can grab something and heat up before school. Thank you so much!
The Dollar General has a tool just like the one used from The Pampered Chef. It's from Betty Crocker for a $1. Works great. I've only seen it in red. For French Toast, I like to use texas toast. Holds up well when freezing and reheating.
Electric Skillet- amzn.to/34yyU9B
Griddle Grill- amzn.to/34wW0xm
I am totally going to use your link to get those for myself for Christmas 😊😂 HAHA!
Fyi, stick a straw in the bag, seal around it and suck the air out, good alternative to trying to squish the air out n scrunching your food :) awesome station, you do n excellent job!!!
I feel like you didn’t say how long any of them last in the freezer 😭
They want over $30 for that griddle. Walmart shows it for half that price.
Can I use old fashioned oats 100%whole grain?
I don’t know why this came into my feed, I don’t have a large family to cook for, I don’t eat breakfast but for some reason I still watched all 26 minutes
Nothing happens without reason! Proofed! Maybe the big family is on the way to you! 😊🤗
Shannon Franklin literally me, I have no idea what I watched that brought me here.

Me too and i dont eat meat

Childless millennial here. Just learning how to keep up with breakfast for myself haha. I’m excited to stock up my freezer!

This is more breakfasts than i've eaten in the past 5 years.

Maybe if you had them available you'd grab it more often.
It's probably in the comments somewhere, but it's so much easier to line a sheet pan with foil and bake bacon instead of doing it on a stove top. Plus, you can cook more at one time! I put the bacon on an oven-safe wire rack that sits in the pan to help it crisp better, too.
It's just me but, this is a great idea even for single people. One way to make sure I eat breakfast. New subscriber!
I watch a lot of the fill you freezer cooking things but NO ONE EVER tells you how to thaw or what needs to thaw or what you can cook frozen ect.
Yes! It drives me nuts! I want to make them all but I have no idea how to cook/re-heat them after they have been frozen.
I know, right???
Sandwiches wrap in well damp paper towel and freezer meals I personally take off container covers and cover with paper towel
I have been doing freezer meals for 2 years now probably. Idk why she liked your comment but didn’t answer lol!!!! Anyways, it really depends on what you are reheating. Melissa Holcomb agree! We all know that a lot of frozen food is nasty heated in a microwave.
In France, French toast are called pain perdu and we do it with leftover baguette when it's getting hard. We also use some kind of cake called brioche. It was done this way in order not to throw old bread back in the days. Love your videos, always so inspiring!!
Aurore Da silva Brioche is great.
We have brioche bread but it's not a cake I bet yours is better
In England we call it eggy bread, more savoury with no cinnamon just seasonings
Also the Cajun French here in Louisiana call it this
My aunt is Italian (first generation born American) and that's how she taught me to make French toast as well! Always with leftover baguettes that are a little stale. It's how her mother and grandmother always made it. Best French toast ever!

Congrats
The shadow government heard your plight and delivered the goods. Time for tinfoil hats!
Probably too late but I hope you have a safe and sound delivery. ♥
i’m vegetarian and childless but for some reason i still watched this entire thing. made me want to cook more for myself !!

😂😂 I thought of ways to substitute for my plant based , this is good. I even changed my work schedule to have 1 extra day off, so i can devote a day to meal prep . It will help set good habits and also help you budget and save money. 😊

Donna Norris well most plastic wrap can actually be put into the microwave. for the paper towel wrapping usually it’s a wet paper towel to invite moisture back into the burrito so it’s not too dry
Nice!! I'm going to try this.
Satan wrap or clear wrap is microwavable too
The wax melts. You mean parchment paper.
Hi, thanks for this video, I really love it. Could you show us how to reheat the meals in another video? I'm new on this and I don't know how to do it. Thanks a lot!!!
Barbara Sosa I also would like to see the reheat process, I’m a bit skeptical of the taste and texture.
Barbara Sosa yes please I’m still unsure but this would save so much time and money. X
If it's frozen sanwiches just wrap it in a damp paper towel and pop it in the microwave. Regular freezer meals you still just pop it in the microwave. I take off the container cover and replace it with a paper towel
Barbara Sosa yes I love this idea

Thanks!
Only one question...can u plz put in one of ur daily vlogs .. when they get pulled out of freezer and defreze do u let them tho on its own or out of the freezer stright in the micro ??
You can do it either way. You can also throw the French toast or pancakes in the toaster
Carissa Fladeland Thank you! I was just about to ask if you can use the toaster. 👍
Ain’t this the truth ❤️💪🥰
Proverbs 31 woman right here 😊🤗 enjoyed every moment!! Thank you for your inspiration and dedication
To make things easier- instead of wrapping individually in saran wrap I use a standard fold over top sandwich bag (old school). It is much quicker and faster, also a large box is usually quite cheap.
Nancy Sadewater that’s a great idea. A timesaver too I’m sure! TFS!
I just put stuff in my freezer uncovered.
@astridav no it's not it's still plastic wrap. But it is way more convenient
This is such a great video. In my town none of us housewives use our freezers like that! I this you American ladies are so smart and I am learning to make freezer meals, too. Thanks for all these great ideas!

yep it works a treat when you do it that way :-)...
May I suggest pre-toasting or grilling the english muffins and bagels for the sandwiches. It would make them much tastier.
Natalie H my thoughts exactly
How long do they last in the freezer for
That's what I was thinking too. Seems like they would be much better. If not pre toasted I would think they would be kind of mushy
@@katieparker2502 i belive no more than 3 monthes
Zest first the lemon, then get the juice. It will be easier. 😬👌🏻
Ringo Serrano I was going to say the same thing!

I freeze my French toast on the baking sheet, then bag it. Keeps them from freezing together. Nice videos. Love all the effort.
Yes! Same with the pancakes
I do the same with most things I freeze, especially when using the food sealer to vacuum pack so nothing gets squished or misshapen 🙂
Thank you for the tip I’ll try that!
My mom always did that in the kitchen and rebaged it to go in the pantry so that freezer would be exposed to the least moisture.
Same when freezing fruits or vegetables. Flash freezing before bagging just makes life more simple.

This inspires me to prep more for my kids in the mornings. I already prep my husband's food in advance, now it is time to do it for the rest of us.
Love this! I’ve been working on filling my freezer before my 3rd baby gets here. Freezer meals are so helpful!
🙌🏻 I need this challenge in my life! We just moved and have been eating out WAY too much! Love, love, love! So glad I found you!
These are super helpful especially with distance learning going on!
Mashed up banana in your French toast mix is good healthy addition 🤗
jonip83 Great idea!
Love these and the idea of stocking the freezer so mornings are easier!!
More sustainable and good for environment if you use reusable containers
Letitia Ma listen she said they are
We're learning how to prep breakfast. Not reusable containers
Raquel Almestica I think she meant using alternatives to the plastic wrap and reusable bags, maybe? IDK
Lots of plastic wrap
Glass can shatter in the freezer, so a plastic bag is actually a great choice. They can be rinsed out and reused.
I just made 6 dozen breakfast burritos for the freezer. I didn't even know you were doing this challenge. I am totally in!!!
Just had another thought....this is a great way to clean out your pantry to get ready for the case lot sales!!!
I never knew you could freeze cook eggs .I love all breakfast ideas now I could get my teenager (17 years old) to eat breakfast
Bethany Bulone a suggestion would be to under cook the eggs a bit since you will have to reheat them.
Omg... you killed this meal prep video... the energy... I love all of your ideas... GREAT job!!!
Wonderful video. Your family is blessed to have you as a mother and mate (wife).
You need to warm the tortillas before you roll them, it makes them more pliable
I never warm mine
@@dorisbain9281 nooo oh god why do white people eat uncooked tortillas it's so disgusting
Took the words outta my mouth.
Yes!! They’re only partly cooked
The mission tortillas are soft enough not to heat
Walmart sells reusable containers with lids as well. Would reduce the plastic waste.
Looking forward to the pre holiday video.
Thank you so much for this video!!!! I've been dreading on making breakfast meal preps for my LO and my husband for work and just by watching your video, I'm finally motivated to do so🙌😊
Love the simplicity of your recipes!
Life savor ! ☺️
I would love to do this.... I think its great. I'm going to watch this entire series... I've been waiting for this. Thank you
I am a PC consultant. I loved seeing the mix n chop! You have so many amazing ideas
Yeah, ALWAYS zest a lemon while it’s still whole, BEFORE you cut into it or juice it!! Always easier (& quicker) that way. 👍❤️😉
I was thinking the same thing
Thank you 4 this awesome video. Well done❤️ happy trails 🙏
I just told my husband we hit the jackpot with this video
Looks Awesome. Thanks for sharing!!
Love these! Both my husband and I are grab n go breakfast eaters. I will definitely be trying some of these.
Thanks for posting. This is my favorite Breakfast video!!❤
Just a tip when I layer my pancakes or French toast to put wax paper in between the layers easy to take them out later. 😃
Probably my favorite channel to come across during this coronavirus epidemic with multiple kids at home they're constantly hungry.. Your channel has been awesome for different ideas
girl! you are AMAZING!! That was a ton of work!! both the cooking AND the filming!! (and editing too!!) LOVED this! totally inspired
Hi from Israel !! I am American but have lived here for 30 years . Love your vlogs !! Good health to you and your family .
This was amazing!! Thanks for all of your hard work and sharing with us!!!
Thank you I use to do this when I was a more a stay at home mommy: I miss that season 😭 now I’m at home more . We’re a very frugal family so this is so encouraging-I’ll keep you posted
Thanks Kimmy for all the great ideas and hard work you have put into this video.
I tend to have a problem with things being soggy or rubbery when I prep meals like this :(
Ok I need that griddle. That puppy's awesome. Nice job, girl. You seriously know how to TCB.
I don't even eat breakfast and I watched this whole video. Thumbs up! All this in two days. Wow you're amazing!
Wow! Yes, I am inspired! I’m going to make several of your suggestions. Thank you!
Great tips!!! Thank you for all your tips. I have a house with 3 boys. I feel like it’s crazy in the morning if we aren’t prepared. I’m excited to make these to help the mornings go smoother

The Dollar General has a tool just like the one used from The Pampered Chef. It's from Betty Crocker for a $1. Works great. I've only seen it in red.
For French Toast, I like to use texas toast. Holds up well when freezing and reheating.
Just bought this $1
