- The QUICKEST DSM on the PLANET! Devin and Boostin Performance has had one heck of a weekend battling the typical racecar woes that accompany any event. Thankfully Devin, the Red Demon, AND the team were not willing to give up and they kept at it, taking this car FAR past their expectations. Moving from blowing up a turbo the night before, to SHATTERING the world record, this MONSTER DSM took it’s rage to the drag strip of Royal Purple Raceway to go round after round in the stick shift class of TX2K 2018

LEGEND 25 beast for blowing up the most. Almost All talons and eclipses are either junked or close to being junked. It's basically impossible to find one that has low miles and reliable

Boostin performance stock went up . But nothing new every year this car improves and they have some ripper gtr‘s aswell .

When you consider how crazy everyone got when a GTR got in to the 6's....this is way more impressive. Congrats. Absolutely bonkers.
Brandon Blair The GTR was impressive because it's a heavy ass stock chassis car that still runs a factory drivtrain they are both very impressive for what they are but people tend to gravitate twords the underdogs more which is why people really dig the DSM.
AntiLag BoostAddiction this is a 4 cylinder with half the displacement. That's far more impressive
Shadowboost yea let's just bring up displacements lmao dosnt mater that the GTR is probably 1600lbs heavier 😂. They are both impressive for what they are stop trying to play that game were one is better just because it's smaller this goes back to what I just wrote about people likeing the underdogs.
AntiLag BoostAddiction the GT-R is making at least 1500 whp more and 1000 ft lb more torque if not more. Plus the weight helps with traction on the launch. And a DCT gearbox vs a manual...
Shadowboost Weight helps with traction when you are taking about AWD production cars on a dirty road this is tx2k with the best prep available weight does nothing but slow you down this is drag racing 101 type stuff pretty obvious lol and the GTR is making way more power yes but it's also wayyyy heavier so what are you even saying? I love DSMs just like I love GTRs I'm a AWD fanboy this game you are trying to play is dumb as fuck for the last time they are both impressive for what they are.

The car is so fast it knocked all the color out of the driver's hair. Seriously though it's an amazing build. You have a stock chassis, 4 cylinder, h pattern car that's knocking on the door to 6 seconds. Incredible!

What I like about those guys is that although they are ahead in their game they act humble. They did a 7.0 with a 4wd H-patern 4banger and they act cool with it not like the GTR heads or the UGR lambos that each time someone makes a record they act like they own the world. Again congrats for this amazing feat
You can't fake that kind of reaction. It never gets old watching these guys reaction when they beat a personal best. Especially when they annihilate it. Hats off!

I used to tow my go kart trailer with my 96' GS. Sold it with the tow receiver still attached. Since I've moved onto a 98' GSX which I drive to work daily.

Awesome day today Sunday. I have to thank the camera guy at the end of the track on the lift for helping us get our football back. He knows who he is. Awesome to see the Unicorn startup as well and park in the back by sketchy vert. WSS my Mustang Club was in the back watching everybody.

I never thought I'd see a Talon knocking on the 6 second door.I had a white 95 I got in 98 and I felt like he just did when I ran a 10.09 back in the day lol.We hurt a lot of feelings and won a lot of money racing that thing.But damn cars are so much faster these days its crazy.Kids these days dont know how easy they've got it,back then the struggle was real lol.

I have a 1998 that is perfect, literally perfect. I've had it for over 20 years. Stored inside always, all original. 30,000 kms. I'll never part with it, and it has never given me a moments grief. I only drive it when it's nice out! lol It's silver grey...I had a red one that got T-boned in an intersection. Heartbreaking.

That's nothing...hold my beer....lol. no congratulations for real, that's a nasty talon right there. Rode around many nights in high school in a black 95 talon tsi. That little 210 hp car hurt some feelings in my hometown, especially the 96 mustang gt my brother had. That mustang sounded good and looked nice, but that talon would come off the line so hard he was constant chasing me, and with only 215 hp in that 4.6, it made for some embarrassing moments for him....lol
