My university told me that it is very hard for any course work to fulfill all of the CSET when it comes to multiple subjects. I got a BA in liberal studies and didn’t have any of the subjects waived
That's awful. On the CTC website it says people with liberal studies degrees or those with appropriate coursework will be allowed to waive out of taking this exam. They should've given you the waiver smh.
@@cyrenthiarobinson348 That is true but it all depends on when you graduated. If you graduated a long time ago, you do not get the waiver. If you graduated within the last 4 years you should get a waiver. But of course it depends on your college coursework.
I would say social science but I don't think currently you can skip the cset because they must match exactly atthis time ithink they are trying to amend it though.
Is this only for substitute teaching or full time teaching as well?

When we have to take the RICA; since, it is not waived?
Can I skip cset if my major is sociology?
What is an interdisciplinary major?

@@tenorsax18 I hope they amend it….My BA is in History and I want my Single Subject Credential
If I am a math major wanting to get a single subject credential in math, I can skip CSET?
Yes.
From my understanding if we want to become a sped educator we still need the cset. Correct me if Im wrong. Can someone clarify?
Yes, if you're working on a SPED credential then you will have to take the multiple subject CSET (unless you qualify for a waiver).
@@cyrenthiarobinson348 How to qualify for a waiver for special ed Multiple Subject? Thank you
