    I am practicing this type of pranayama since long time. It is good for acidity and gass problem. Diabeties will not control.

    Please clarify after inhaling from mouth when you say relax that time whether we have to hold breath or exhale it from nose

    Could not understand in respect of Shiv Kumbhak. Is firstly we need to exhale through mouth and inhale from nose hold and relax.

      Exhale from mouth with 'sh' sound, inhale from mouth with 'aah' sound. Then hold, then relax. All with eyes closed. Do for 11 rounds and sit for sometime in ease.
