We start off our camping season each year at McRae PP. It is a great park for the weekend. It gives us a chance to check the trailer, to make sure everything is working and to get back in practice after the winter 😊

Absolutely, it's always a good idea to stay closer to home or stores the first trip of the year!

We enjoy McRae point a couple of times this season. We won’t go there again in the spring because the mosquitoes are horrendous. The dog beach near the boat launch is a favourite with our dogs.

Yes the mosquitoes can be bad in the spring by lake Simcoe
