    People try to clear the snow and frost with wipers normally leads to peak current spikes on the fuses. Also binding wiper posts are worse with the cold weather. Big Thumbs up..

    As what happened to me on E200 2000 today .. no wipers, no Turn signals and even no horn.. omg all together .. i said i have a problem with the SAM.
    But guess what a fuse running all of them and it was not even blown.. its plastic is melted and not sitting very well .. nice to share experiences with you sir.
    Thanks for all of your efforts.

      Well, i never saw it working... and accordingly to diagrams and the system, I doubt it ever worked without the fuse...

    I think,it is always better to start by checking the relay fuses before disassembling.

    hi good video like always i would like to say that i always check fuses and rellays and their positions before any intervention on a car i learn it the hard way you never know what was done to the car before it comes to you but the way you trated the issue was as it should be done by pro

    And if the problem resides in one of the wiper shifts...? I find some of them corroded and with difficult of movement.
    It's possible that fuse breaks to the customer, he pulled it out for change it, and then, he forgot to tell it to the first garage.

      Well, that's a good question!
      The fuse for the wipers was a 30 amp one... so if I would see anything close to that, would mean something was not right...

    My wipers, horn, fuel gage, and front cigar lighter are not working on 2009 ml350. Can you help?

    • @LMAutoRepairs
      @LMAutoRepairs  3 года назад +1

      They are possible separate issues...
      But might not...
      Test the gauges with a scan tool... if all good, check your rear sam... rear sam is the module that take the readings from the fuel tank level sensors, and send the level to the cluster...
      The wipers and horn are front sam... check fuses etc...
      Scan the car and check live data...👍

    Good job my friend as always. How do you like your amp clamp you used in this video. Thank you cheers

    • @LMAutoRepairs
      @LMAutoRepairs  7 лет назад

      Hi Ramon!
      Indeed a nice little clamp, and more than enough for this sort of work...
      One thing I don't like is as it is an AC and DC clamp, when you turn it on it defaults on AC... well I don't like that because I need it on DC, I suppose that will be good for who will be using it for AC... lol
      Other than that, is good!
