People try to clear the snow and frost with wipers normally leads to peak current spikes on the fuses. Also binding wiper posts are worse with the cold weather. Big Thumbs up..
As what happened to me on E200 2000 today .. no wipers, no Turn signals and even no horn.. omg all together .. i said i have a problem with the SAM. But guess what a fuse running all of them and it was not even blown.. its plastic is melted and not sitting very well .. nice to share experiences with you sir. Thanks for all of your efforts.
yes but didn't he just show it in use w/o it? My wipers just stopped working last night. All I did was remove them and the bonnet to clean the drains. I checked the fuses, their good
hi good video like always i would like to say that i always check fuses and rellays and their positions before any intervention on a car i learn it the hard way you never know what was done to the car before it comes to you but the way you trated the issue was as it should be done by pro
There was no fuse in mine to ( this fixed the problem) . I am wondering what a coincidency to miss the same fuse in my case to. Maby the motor drain the battery and is purposly removed?
Very nice video man it remind us how important the basic test is and dont always relay on diagnostic tools that why i always carry an old wire with a lamp hhhhhh.
And if the problem resides in one of the wiper shifts...? I find some of them corroded and with difficult of movement. It's possible that fuse breaks to the customer, he pulled it out for change it, and then, he forgot to tell it to the first garage.
hello, nice video, i also thaught something with the motor,or arms that are rusty blocked, because of the overload chowing with your autel, but at the end only a fuse;-), some one has taking it out
abderrahim amroune Well, that's a good question! The fuse for the wipers was a 30 amp one... so if I would see anything close to that, would mean something was not right... Hope that makes sense... Thank you for watching!
They are possible separate issues... But might not... Test the gauges with a scan tool... if all good, check your rear sam... rear sam is the module that take the readings from the fuel tank level sensors, and send the level to the cluster... The wipers and horn are front sam... check fuses etc... Scan the car and check live data...👍 Thank you for watching!
Hi Ramon! Indeed a nice little clamp, and more than enough for this sort of work... One thing I don't like is as it is an AC and DC clamp, when you turn it on it defaults on AC... well I don't like that because I need it on DC, I suppose that will be good for who will be using it for AC... lol Other than that, is good!
Luís hello! Just an apart question. Was that a ML 63 AMG? It doesn't seems like one from the inside, the speedometer only goes to 160 mph, the engine covers says Mercedes and not AMG...
speedway98 And I did... I did checked all the fuses in there... just did not realized that the one for the wipers was actually missing.... Thank you for watching!
Zero Gar Well, this car did not even came straight from the owner... came from another garage... which probably have charged the customer for the time they have wasted not even finding the issue.... Thank you for watching!
im talking about the 15amp blue fuse u put in ... see they look so cheaply made, the test points are almost always covered in plastic and the terminals are actually thinner than a genuine fuse with white numbers written on the top ... great videos i actually learned from you

@@LMAutoRepairs you are welcome and nothing to worry about😀😀
Hamad Yousef was this on rear board?
Been a while I know but can you remember if it worked sometimes or was completely dead before you found the bad fuse ?
@johncowan5924
Well, i never saw it working... and accordingly to diagrams and the system, I doubt it ever worked without the fuse...
👍👍👍
I think,it is always better to start by checking the relay fuses before disassembling.
👍
Fixed my problem lol. Was trying to use them with the bonnet open
😊🤣
Yes... that will definitely work...

Good job my friend as always. How do you like your amp clamp you used in this video. Thank you cheers

people should tell the mechanic, if they have been to another mechanic for the same problem before.
Absolutely agree!
