Hey boss,so I replaced my 1998 c230 entire windshield wiper motor and wiper itself and I can hear the motor working but the wiper is stuck and won't move at all whatsoever. Any tips to help out?
I have a c220 cdi 2003 model last weekend I spent 2 to 3 hrs checking fuses and relays on the wiper side, then watched a vidio on here that said close the bonnet, and doors and bam they worked Doh apparently it's a safety feature to stop you cutting your fingers off in the mechanism. 😂🤣
Thanks for making this. I couldn't find my diagram and didn't know about the slot 60 5 amp fuse. I was seeing slot 100 30 amp was fine. Looked at hood sensor but it was not it either.

I have an 09 W164. the pump is good. It runs fine on 12V drawing 1.6A. It is not getting 12V. I cannot find which relay/fuse powers it. There is NO mention of it on my fuse/relay diagrams. Any toughts, please?
My ML 550 2008 has similar problem but I've check the fuses and they are working from the front to the back where would you go from there? No power, before the wipers would work partially then stopped all together what about a grounding problem? When you turn the wiper on they move so slightly still but won't run, and suggestions?
@@willmajor4559 ok, then somewhere between rear fuse to the fron fuse you are losing power ! @ this point it’s best to take it to a specialize Mercedes tech to find it exactly. Sorry, best of luck
Hello sir I had the same issue with my 2011 ML350 diesel except when I changed the fuse for the front wiper the 60 5amp the whole system goes off the srs the abs and the gear function dissapears do you have any advice on how to fix this I checked the 100 30amp it was fine but when I remove the 60 5amp fuse it goes back to normal without front wipers working please advise thank you.

i had problem with no wiper motors or screen wash. my e220 has a safety feature if the boot is open. I slammed the bonnet / hood hard and it all started working again. if in doubt, give it a clout. sensors eh? 😮

how about if water doesnt't come out but its full in the resevoir could it be fuse as well?

Will Major I would unplug the wiper motor and see if you have power and signal .
@@csctechdep5934 No power to the relay or the front fuse box, went to the fuse box in the rear and I have power there too!

Rochford Rob you have to have a Mercedes scanner or go see a Mercedea specialist, they usually have the subscriptions

Get a voltmeter and check the amperage draw on that circuit, possibly your linkages are seized !

Linkage and motor are connect together, you can test them both when you get to them !

Check the relay first.
