Change the fuse to 20Amps fuse. Your current fuse is constantly blowing because your starter relay has a damaged resistor. Replace the relay with one from Mercedes’ Benz. More expensive to buy from Benz; but best practice in this situation.
@@kiwiwifi i tried to replace with a number 20 yellow fuse but still didn't work. I ended up taking it to my mechanic. He repaired something, I don't know what exactly. Now it works perfectly fine with a non-mercedes blue fuse number 15
CORRECTION: In the video around 3 min you talk about the fuel pump and the fuses. You state that one side of the FUSE is connected to the ECU and the other side is connected directly to the fuel pump. Incorrect. The fuse gets +12V directly from the PREFUSE BLOCK, the other side of the fuse is connected to 1 RELAY contact, the other relay CONTACT ties directly to the FUEL PUMP. In short the relay is getting controlled by the COMPUTER via the low voltage of the relay COIL. The POWER side of the relay is separate from the computer if that makes sense. My comments are intended helpful, NOT to be critical. Thank You for shooting the video - I know that is a lot of work.

On my car the switch is on the small panel by the shifter when I turn the dials , the clutch engages on the compressor . But I know some other cars have a relay also ; check if you have extra relays apart from what I presented , for example..

Hey there ... great videos .... here is my odd problem ... it is a long story. Maybe you can help me, I know what caused my problem. I have a 2006 C-230 Mercedes Sport with 63,000 miles. I had been looking at my fuses to try to disable the car alarm that kept going off randomly. I did not even touch the fuses as I figured I would later that day and my big mistake was leaving the fuse cover off since I knew I would be back later on. The problem is I went for gas and figured why not get a car wash. I did and as I came out of the wash I heard the radiator fan louder than usual. I pulled off to the side of the car wash and turned off the engine and then the fan came back on .... I pulled out the key and it still stayed on. Then I opened the hood and I saw that I had left the fuse box cover off and looked closer and I saw some small drops of water on the fuses. Murphy's Law. I had left the cover off and then got a car wash and water had somehow sprayed under the bonnet. A bad coincidence. I dried it off as best I could. The fan stayed on. I drove it home and it stayed on even without the key. Right now I have the negative terminal off the battery to stop the fan. I will readdress the problem in the daylight tomorrow. Any thoughts ?

All the gasoline engines sold in Europe after 2001 are OBD 2 . Some are OBD 2 even before 2001 . If it fits on the connector it means its OBD2 . OBD1 will have different connectiors

Hi, i have a 2004 c180 kompressor, one morning it failed to start and when i plugged my obd into it it came up with OL fuel system, i checked fuel pressure and it was 55psi i replaced the fuel filter now i have 0 psi but when i start the engine it gos up to 28psi but as soon as i shut off the engine its back to 0, im completely lost??
I have one more question in regards to the Function and the Fuse No. What does (SE - SA) stand for next to the function? I have a fuse #8 that's missing and it states Anti - Theft Alarm (SE). can or should I place one in that slot if their was not one their and if I do will it affect anything if it was already missing.
Question: Which Relay or Fuse do you think it may be that I should replace and as far as the pump. If the drivers side of the windshield wiper fluid hoses were working and on the drivers side and the Windshield Wiper Fluid hose on the passenger side was not working would that mean that the pump is good. Better question would be is if the pump was bad would fluid only come out of one (1) hose because fluid is coming out of the drivers side and not the passenger side.
The windshield wiper motor has the fuse number 46 on this car and the relay" L " for the motor . If it was spraying fluid only through one nozzle either that nozzle was clogged or the pump is too weak . Try first to hear any nose from the pump location when you activate it, it's quite loud. Try as well with a needle to unclogge the nozzle . I don't think the pump has a relay ; I might be wrong .
Thanks for your reply I was able to locate the problem it's not the pump it was clogged an the Windshield Washer Nozzle I unclogged the line and replaced the Nozzle and it's not working. I took off the washer line removed the dirt from inside the tube line replaced the Windshield Washer Nozzle and the fluid if now coming out of the damaged nozzle. Thanks for your help and guidance

Thanks. That's a good question .. Is your transmission "tip-tronic" ( the option on the gear stick to use it in manual mode ) ? I can not be 100 % sure , but it is possible that the fuse box was designed for other high end models which might have extra options on the transmission (like extra selenoids) . I didn't check for my self yet , but you can disconnect the main wire harness from the transmission and look for continuity from those pins to the specific fuse box ; that can be one way to find out about those opened slots .

There is no relay. Ac compressor has no clutch. Because ac compressor works according to its proportional valve.

It requeres deeper invetigation which includes testing , wiring diagrams tools and knowledge about what to look for .

If it was spraying fluid only through one nozzle either that nozzle was clogged or the pump is too weak . Try first to hear any nose from the pump location when you activate it, it's quite loud. Try as well with a needle to unclogge the nozzle . I don't think the pump has a relay ; I might be wrong .
Thanks for your reply I was able to locate the problem it's not the pump it was clogged an the Windshield Washer Nozzle I unclogged the line and replaced the Nozzle and it's not working. I took off the washer line removed the dirt from inside the tube line replaced the Windshield Washer Nozzle and the fluid if now coming out of the damaged nozzle. Thanks for your help and guidance

what is all the relay again, i heard 1. default relay, 2. wiper speed relay, 3. Engine terminal relay?, 4. terminal 15 relay?, 5. wiper on/off relay, 6. chassis relay? so can you confirm #3,4,6?

Thanks. That's a good question .. Is your transmission "tip-tronic" ( the option on the gear stick to use it in manual mode ) ?
I can not be 100 % sure , but it is possible that the fuse box was designed for other high end models which might have extra options on the transmission (like extra selenoids) . I didn't check for my self yet , but you can disconnect the main wire harness from the transmission and look for continuity from those pins to the specific fuse box ; that can be one way to find out about those opened slots .
