Productivity Desk Setup 2022!

This is my productivity desk setup for 2021 as a working graduate who works from home sometimes, has an online part-time job and edits videos for RUclips💻. I spend a lot of time at my desk in the evenings. Most items I already owned and I purchased just a few items which really made a big difference.

You need to fit a usb c dock for your laptop rather than having it on a stand with a single screen. I have an old desk from work but it has a 'pinboard' back panel so all my cables including my dock are hidden with cable ties. I have a switch for the keyboard/mouse and webcam between my PC and dock. The screens are on separate inputs between the PC and dock. It means I can hook my work laptop in to it with the screen closed and use it for work, as can my girlfriend with her laptop. Disconnecting the laptop and tapping a button enables me to use the same screens and inputs/outputs for my personal gaming PC.

Just bought this great review, when I use the HDMI cable it seems to crop in from the sides...however when a use the USBC its full screen...any ideas why the HDMi crops in and how to fix?

It looks like one, but no it’s not. It’s wireless projection compatible with other Huawei devices

Hi, great setup. I was debating really hard on getting the HUAWEI monitor but firstly it costed a lot and secondly I was put off by the aspect ratio. Didn’t wanna deal with bezels like on the iPad again.
As for the lighting, I recommend getting a lamp that you can clump to your monitor from baseus. And a lamp from Xiaomi for the desc. Good lighting really is important
