    I will be in Tampa next Thursday-Sunday with 12 friends on a bachelor weekend. We are having a fishing contest between 4 groups, and I am studying all your information so that we can win!

    Well I appreciate your knowledge. I grew up on the East Coast and it to me, it is a lot different fishing w/the depth etc, over there. Getting older and just wanting to relax and fish; your show ill help. Good stuff, and as they say, there are plenty of fish in the sea.

    Been watching channel for about a month and found it very helpful even though I fish north of Clearwater. What is your recipe for chum?

    • @TampaBayFishingChannel
      @TampaBayFishingChannel  4 года назад +1

      If you are asking what the chum is we use for the baitfish it is Purina Tropical Fish Food 33%.

    Hey...curious why u dont like using your spot lock when chumming n cast netting. Why do you prefer anchor if it swings boat? Thanks

    • @TampaBayFishingChannel
      @TampaBayFishingChannel  4 года назад +1

      With the spotlock the boat still swings. Adds more current to the chum also. I like to have full batteries for the long day we will be fishing so I would rather not use the spotlock for catching bait.

    Another informative video, first time I've been first to like, view, and comment. Keep up the good work, thinking of bringing the wife and kids down to the bay and giving it a shot. Normally fish out of Ponce inlet and Port Canaveral. " Come on Chad"

    Can anyone explain what was going on with the gas can and those hoses?

    • @TampaBayFishingChannel
      @TampaBayFishingChannel  2 года назад

      They are siphons to put gas in the boat instead of trying to hold the gas cans

    Trolling motor battery’s dead by 10?? 24 or 36 volt system? I can get a whole day on mine been in fast currents and winds never had a battery issue ?? Odd 🤷🏻‍♂️. How old your battery’s ??

    • @TampaBayFishingChannel
      @TampaBayFishingChannel  4 года назад

      Yes you have to remember that when a trolling motor is running at full speed for more than 2 hours it is going to eat the batteries up. The next day the batteries lasted all day for us. When it is so rough your trolling motor is coming out of the water everytime it is not going to last long.

      Tampa Bay Fishing Channel I was just curious because I’ve run mine in situations where it’s had to use 8,9 even 10 speed setting to hold in place and fished 6 plus hours haven’t had batteries drain dead yet. That’s why I was curious when I put my new min Kota Terrova on replacing the stick steering motor guide I went with group 29 size batteries boat came with 27 group picked the batteries that had most amp hours listed they was larger but kinda thought theses motors would drain batteries quick. Hope mine keeps up lasting full days in high winds and fast currents

      @@craigcanterbury264 Just put a Motorguide 36V Xi5 on my boat. Paired it with a 36V 60AH Lithium Battery. At $1300 it is supposed to last longer than 3 group 29 AGM's. Time will tell.
