I'm 44, and I've been watching you fish my whole life. I watch your channel and teach my children these techniques. To me, you're fishing royalty. Please keep teaching us.
My one month old son and I feel asleep listening to daddy hero Mr Roland Martin talking last night just like I did as a baby. Ty Mr Roland Martin for everything!
Roland you were scaring me wading around in the water fishing where there could possibly be a gator lurking! Love watching your videos. I'm 37 and I've been watching you since i was 5. Love ya man and be safe please!
Thank you roland..me and my son have watched and learned from you for a long time...please bring back some videos of you and scott when he was growing up and fishing with you...priceless
I'm 23 now, I remember watching Roland fishing tournaments on tv when I was 8 or 9 and loved every second of it. I remember him on the Booyah baits commercials- it was so funny to me seeing him pull a fish out of the water and yelling "booyah!!!"
Roland, my father in law ordered me a set of helicopters years ago. I don't remember if I still have them but you sure brought back memories today. I still can't believe you wade in water where alligators live.🎣🐟
I see Him getting excited over whatever size Bass he catches. All the Bass he catches tell him where in the mats or pads whatever so He can zero in the bigger fish. And I listen to every word Mr. Martin says and I'm a better fisherman for it. because of Him.
That looks like me trying to close and latch my tackle boxes 🤷🏻♂️😂 Love to watch, listen and learn from a Legend!!! Thanks for the video!!! GOD Bless you and your Family
Just wanted to say thank you for making such great video’s, your energy is uplifting and very knowledgeable , I’m a new subscriber and I watch 5-6 videos a night. To be losing weight and catching fish at your age , gives us younger people so much hope and Inspiration. Can’t thank you enough for great entertainment and fishing tips. Woo Son !
Started watching you on tv years ago. Now I get to watch you here. Always wondered how yall got to the point you could fish for a living. I wanted to do that so bad. Thank you sir for sharing your knowledge.
Really appreciate the video & the hard work you put into making them. The way you set up your different boats so you can make videos by yourself shows just how much you enjoy making these videos. That's a lot of extra work you do on every fishing trip you take & video. I've been watching & learning from you for around 30+ years now & I still pick up new tricks & ideas watching today. Be safe & tight lines...
I was just thinking about these the other day my parents bought me a set I think only ever caught one fish with them but just loved the fact I was hitting the water with the same tackle Roland was
Hey Roland, love your Channel. I have learned a lot by watching. Thanks for all the great content. My dad and granddad watched you on TV, now I’m watching on RUclips. Best Bass fisherman in my book.
You’re a blessing and a legend! I converted to baitcasting about 10 years ago. Grew up using zebcos and spinning rods/reels. Nothing wrong with spinning. Caught many bass on jitterbugs and hula poppers with my spinning rods. Been watching you as long as I can remember. Love watching you fish.
Like what you said, Braid makes spinning tackle more formidable heavy tackle. So true, common sense tells us braid adds strength. Love your videos Roland!
Great stuff Roland you never fail to impress with your knowledge thank you. The worms are your favorite baits you can't stay with out them yeah 💯🎣🙏stay safe
Love this! Never seen that bait before and it looks amazingly weedless. You should do a history lesson on some of the legendary great lures of all time that are hard to find!? I'd be willing to bet you have a lot of great, legendary lures. Thanks Roland, I will like all your videos X10 if I could !
Roland, you're so casual about losing a big fish 😒. I'd be crying😭 Puking, cussin myself out! Beatin myself up in every way imaginable! At least that's how I felt last October when my line broke during the big Bass bash💔🐟. When the bites are few and far between..it really stinks when you lose what mighta been my first money maker💲 in a tournament. It's ok though, I'm going back to seek my revenge!😡 And I will NOT make the same mistake twice!
Do you think the warm temperatures can be too warm for bass? Like above 85? My buddy said bass stops eating after 88F and dies in his tropical predator tank. And in my little experience here in South Florida, I had better fishing in the winter, not in the summer. Of course, the lower water also helps, but IDK I think they prefer mid not high temps.
Hey Roland a few questions for you. What is that watch your always wearing? That's a nice one. Also you jumped into that water--Feet get wet or are you using waders and boots? Just wondering. Thanks for the videos.
I'm 44, and I've been watching you fish my whole life. I watch your channel and teach my children these techniques. To me, you're fishing royalty. Please keep teaching us.

I have actually hooked the helicopter lure up behind a hollow belly frog and caught some decent bass on it early in the mornin
I needed this video
Here a bass, there a bass, everywhere a bass bass
The man. The myth. The legend.
The great american fisherman
Roland, you're so casual about losing a big fish 😒.
I'd be crying😭

Roland Bass fishing, doesn't get any better than that.................
That was a great video I like it
You could do a video in a ditch beside the road and make it informative. The master at work.
I needed a hot day fishing lesson...whew it's hot.

What’s a long cast to you? 80 feet ? 120 feet? Further? Bait caster with 50-65lb braid.
120
You should make more molds of the improved helicopter lure and sell em!
I'm not in the lure selling business
@@RolandMartinOutdoors yeah thats true I suppose, thanks for all the great videos and tips!
What’s your camera mounted to? Looks like a great setup.
This man’s a National Treasure
Call it the ‘Torpedo Spinner’ LOL
Talk about fun looks like the same fishing in Arkansas. One here and there i must be doing something right
Hey Roland a few questions for you. What is that watch your always wearing? That's a nice one. Also you jumped into that water--Feet get wet or are you using waders and boots? Just wondering. Thanks for the videos.
