  • In this video we are using our side imaging to look for ledges along the shipping channel inside Tampa Bay. We get into a bunch of snapper and some grouper especially on the major feeding time. We go into depth on how we look and find the structure for snapper. Fish More, Catch More!

Aren't both sides of the shipping channel basically continuous ledges for miles and miles?

Do you ever fish for triple tail grouper? I have only ever caught 2, they were to small.

Here’s the deal. Good. Good for you. “My job is to put people on fish.” Great. Why are you making these videos. They help no one. You could be fishing on mars. What is the point of these videos. You have your fishing spots, great. There are probably enough ledges out there for everyone. If you want to make a useful video then share the locations. Otherwise what is the point. You are catching fish. Good for you.

He showed you what times to fish, what to look for, what bait to use, how to rig it, and his technique for dropping the bait down. Go hit the well known reefs and do what he showed you.

@@philipeverett2360LOL. “Go hit the well known reefs”. You my friend, don’t seem to know anything either. I have done all of that and more. What he does works for him because he has side sonar and tons of time to do nothing else but fish and find locations. If he wanted to do anything useful he would show the coordinates for these ledges. Watching him yank fish out of the bay or offshore does zero for anyone. There is no point in making these videos.

@@dahe8883he put in time and effort for his spots and is kind enough to share with us how he finds them and how he fishes them. Company’s dont just hand u a check, u have to work for it. Same with fishing, put in the time and effort and you’ll be rewarded. He has given away coordinates before but it wouldnt make sense to give away his spots

Maybe I don’t know anything, maybe I do. I for one have picked up a ton from his videos.
      1. They sold me on side scan and a navionics card (I would not have seen the value without his videos).
      2. They are clean/free from profanity and I can watch them with my son.
      3. He saved me a ton of time figuring out the bottom machine (I would have got it eventually, but maybe not before I or the kids lost interest). I can go over a spot I marked on a previous outing and see nothing. It is his technique of scanning from different angels that helps pinpoint the ledge or debris.
I understand your frustration. If a side scan or GPS is out of you budget, I would recommend a stand alone navionics app for your phone. You should be able to see the contour of the bottom and mark different spots. They should also show wrecks, debris fields, and reefs.
I often hit spot that look good on the navionics, but show nothing on the side scan and have good luck here and there with red fish, flounder, pufferfish, trout, rays, and bonnet head (the grouper and snapper seem to like the deeper ledges and that is where the side scan shines).
I am happy as long as the kids are catching fish/having fun. His videos have helped me put the kids on fish, so I appreciate what he is doing. Maybe his videos are geared towards people with less fishing knowledge than yourself.
If you can not see the value in his content, I suggest you move on to a different channel vs belittling his efforts.
I am not trying to be argumentative, I am simply trying to shine light on the positives of his videos.
      Good luck fishing.
