That waterfall walk looks amazing - thanks for sharing. The stumble you had looks horrific - it’s really a wonder you didn’t break your ankle! Lovely looking campsite - we have stayed in a cottage near Ingleton many times but never done the walk (OH has mobility issues). Thanks for all the effort you go to doing these videos (up and down those steps 🙄) - it’s greatly appreciated. Stay well and safe.
So cheerful even in the rain. Be careful of those ankles, I did mine in Somerset once and felt so dizzy I had to lie down in a field of sheep 😂. Turned out a tendon had pulled off a bit of bone and I had to weat a big black boot for a couple of weeks.
Oooh, that could've been nasty! 😖 Looks a fantastic walk, though. I think I'd definitely go on a drier day as walking right next to that torrent would give me the heebie jeebies! 😬🤣
Rain, rain, go away......and yes, I was still there at the end 😄. Looks a great site, those glamping pods look just like my cup 'o' tea (definitely beats faffing with a tent)
Great vlog 🤗. Love a Dales campsite with a pub in walking distance 🍻 👍 (the price of the falls walk though - ouch 😬......but then again, we ARE from Leeds😁)
Love you videos, given us some great site ideas. Love a site with a pub within walking distance. Never change how you camp - it is your life - do what makes you happy.
Absolutely mate, im making videos now of the things I'd like to see and do, not for clicks or subs, they are just a bonus! Stay awesome matey and thank you
I can confirm that this place is amazing in the sunshine. I went on Friday after the kids went back to school and barely saw a soul. Brucie Bonus - There was an ice cream van on the top road to the farm. £10 is a little steep, but you can stay all day.....
Definitely not still here and didn’t wait to see rain rain go away…🤪 Love your videos, and having survived my first pop top adventure, this campsite is definitely on the list for a visit to the falls. Cheers! 🍻
Did that trail, walked up oddies lane avoiding the booth, turned right at the top at scar end and looked at all the falls on the way down the other side through the 1 way gate. That was free.one waterfall is pretty much the same as the others.
I bet doing all that B roll was knackering Col. Worth it though. My knees are knackered so I cant walk round Ingleton but your video showed me what its like. Loved the site you stayed on. Looks brilliant. I must admit that I did not laugh at the fall on the steps. You were lucky you didn't break your angkle. Ouch! Glad you didn't. Much respect-Kenny
Amazing walk ! Visited there last year. But it was boiling hot when we did it. When you get to the top path before you drop down the the toilets there's normally an ice cream van, which is well needed as it's a decent size walk.
Rain rain go away 😂 you do make me laugh. Future Col and past Col having a chat is hilarious. I love the campsites and places to visit that you take us to. I hope your ankle is ok that looked a nasty twist. How long was the walk to the waterfall? Take care Gill
Haha thanks! The ankle is totes fine though, lucky escape I think! The walk took about two hours, but in between filming I walked fast because of the rain. I reckon it could take 3 to 4hrs if you're stopping at the falls for longer though...
Some cracking waterfalls and walk - do you think all the rain we’ve had will have dried up the source so we’re all set for a dry summer? 🌧️>☀️ As ever a fantastic one for the list! Thanks for being genuine and authentic! All the best, David & Rachel 👍
Ah thanks so much and it was lovely to chat with you today too! Fingers crossed the rain will be rained out by summer and we'll have a cracking and dry one! Take care Col
When we were at that waterfall walk years ago there was an Ice cream van at the top lol and by the way you got away one there Col wear proper walking boots next time 😂😂 ......rain rain get tae 😅
Normal weather conditions resumed then, the dry spell didn’t last long 😂 I’m heading to Cobelands campsite tomorrow after 2 days of heavy rain and I’ve booked a grass pitch 🤦♀️
Another cracking video and a campsite ive always had on my list (any reason you didnt stay in the car park?)...... But, how the **** did you not break your ankle. Take care Chris and Jenny
Thanks so much.... re: the car park, there are signs everywhere that say no overnight camping and CCTV in operation so I bottled it 🤣🤣! The ankle is fine mate, a lucky escape!
It's a bit steep at a tenner for a group Colin, even if you're not a Yorkshire Man 😂. Up the road from the pub will get you into the top of the falls if you can read a map,😂Get some walking booits, save your ankle 😉.
Yeah we did it the free way last time but because "the internet" I have to do things the "proper" way 🤣🤣 I have boots but thought this simple walk wouldn't challenge my ankle 😂😂 how wrong was I 🤣🤣
Hi Colin, thanks for another great video. How's the ankle ? Looked quite painful in slow motion. As you do a lot of walking in all weather's what waterproof kit do you wear, ie trousers, jacket and boots ?. Perhaps a video for the future on your walking kit.
Hey buddy, I think I got away with it luckily! I have tried loads of stuff to keep me dry over the years and it would seem that you have to spend money to get something truly waterproof (sadly) I spent a lot of time buying cheap waterproof clothing that was waterproof for a few walks and despite re proofing them, they failed every time. I have a montane goretex rain jacket that's never failed me and some spray way waterproof trousers that are also awesome. The key with walking in the rain is breathability too, try not to walk too fast that you build up a sweat and get wet from the inside out (something I still do now 🤣)... All that and a cover for your backpack and you should stay dry. Boots wise, I'm about ready for some new ones as mine have done a LOT of tough miles. They were Berghaus boots from go outdoors, not the best but good value for money. Plus some waterproof socks (sealskins are great) just in case you end up in super deep water... Hope that helps buddy
Col ! What’s the 2d entrance fee about , what you meant was two old pennies, or (tuppence) and bearing in mind if it was 26pence in new money only the very rich would be going 👍🏻
There is only one answer to this (embarrassingly so too 🤣) I forget that I have it most times 🤣🤣! But this time I couldn't use it as the SQ professional doesn't work on the induction hob and the plate I have (that means you can use non induction hob pans) isn't very good with the SQ professional. I think I'm going to do a video that explains a few things and reasons why I do what I do when I do if that makes sense 🤣
Quiffy, old chap. How's the pub sorted for taking man's best friend in? And the waterfall thing too. We're taking our behaved pub friendly mutt wherever we go and need to know if it's all Branston friendly
Ouch....felt that ankle go over.....Hope its feeling alright. Great video and another great site for the list, cheers

Ee Col. that was a proper wet one. Inglebrough reminds me of school trips. Lovely site though.
