I have lived in my tiny micro camper for 20 weeks and rarely use a campsite, and rarer still use EHU. BUT on those very rare occasions I pack up the night before. As an old fella, homeless, and disabled I find organisation is key.
Nice to see Branston up and about. We put Daisy in the front with us. She has a harness that clips in both seat belts and round the rear head rest. Shes still as timid as when you met her but improving no end, so no more barking at everything and everyone, getting there slowly.
I'll definitely be back up, so much more to explore. I'll also be at dubbed out but will probably spend a lot of time back stage interviewing and filming the bands. But I'll be out and around on the Thursday so grab your early bird tickets!
Absolutely love Branston, typical black lab. We have two labs a black one called Gibby, the sensible one and a yellow one called Hector. Hector is from a fox red litter but he was the palest so he looks more yellow. He’s as daft as a brush. Just wouldn’t be without them they make every day interesting. Love the vlogs and the campsite tours. New subscriber.
My wife & i were half way through watching this & looked at each other then realised we were there last august😆,great site, there is the best garden centre weve ever been to just up the road called holden clough,it has a cafe, well worth a visit for all your viewers👍🏻
Glad we are all pals now, better together and all that... 1060 must have been a rough old time, how would we go touring in our vans if we had to battle every couple of weeks!
Thought you were going to break out in a bit of Bryan Adams, "Everything I do" I do it for you Branston 😂😂😂 and so you should. So envious of what you do, what you achieve, keep it up. Stay safe and Well hope to see you catch up with you soon
Lovely video - especially the star turn at the end (Branston obvs). I have to say, we refuse to stay anywhere where there is an extra charge for dogs 😖 (we have 3). Interesting about Skipton castle and that dogs are allowed. Stay well. 💕🐾
Yeah I think you're right, it's not like they use the showers is it 🤣🤣! He loved skipton castle and because we were the only people there I let him off lead and he loved it. Well until the school trip arrived 🤣🤣
Love seeing these little trips you do Colin - I don't get the opportunity to do the same as much as I'd like, as my free days get hijacked too often! Nevertheless it fires me top to try and sort something out. I've got family in your neck of the woods so these campsite tours are great 👍
Great vlog and salmon is a great for a meal love it from aldi, look forward to the next one. Are you going to do one from the royal pub above Leeds Bradford Airport and also St Ives in Bingley that'll be a nice place to camp.
I dont drink/eat dairy or eat meat as it plays havoc with my digestive system. I seem to be fine with fish and eggs and small amounts of cheese every now and then though. Its an odd position to be in as when I'm in a restaurant asking for an oat milk latte, then order the fish, it confuses them 🤣🤣!
Branston is gorgeous.my dogs loved to go on camping trips from NC500 to the French Rivera just maybe should have got a t6 lwb instead of my t6swb for it lol.
When camping in my Landy, the awning keeps the cold off yer back laddie. High winds? Aye take it doon. Other than that, keep yerself warm and cosy ma boy. 🔥
You shouldn’t feel the need to apologize for how you camp! Just get on. You’re out there for your own good health and only you can speak to that. Your dog won’t mind, whatever. Salmon is a perfect camp meal if you have a cooler. Any veggies will do, I add brown rice just ‘cause I love the taste. Take soy sauce.
Have you thought of doing a Pot Noodle tour of the North! a different flavour for the towns you visit? Just an idea. Nice work, P.s. we are very near to Smithills Hall in Bolton
Hey buddy yeah there is a grommet under the passenger side carpet (on the T6) that allowed me to send it though and to the back. Although I'll probably install a hook up plug on the outside of the van at some point in the not too distant future so that I don't have to pop the bonnet every time #firstworldpromlems 🤣🤣
Haha it was a concern, but having the firepit on the grass protector meant that I could slide it out of the way until I'd got the awning down. I should have filmed that bit
Yep, spent the last 4 years streamlining kit. Not far off now as I can't stand having stuff everywhere. My theory is can I live and move around in the van if I add it in. If not then out it goes.
Completely agree... now I'm away most weeks, I don't feel the need to take a 1000 things with me for a one night stay.... food, beer and fire pit and I'm happy ❤
Thanks matey! The clothes I wear go in to a plastic bag when I come in from the camp fire and the doors always stay firmly closed when the fire is lit. My drycrobe always smells of fire pits but it's like a camping aftershave 🤣🤣
Does Branston sit on the floor with that clip system? We sometimes look after our daughter’s dog but he hasn’t been in the van yet - he’s used to being clipped in sat on a regular car seat, I think he might be more comfortable on the floor
Yeah mainly, he sits and/or lays down (the harness is long enough for him to lay on the floor too) but he's also been known to jump on the seat too... but I think his happy place is the floor
@@Yorkshirepoptopadventures no, all sorted a week or so after the meet. In fact I met the owner of Calder Farm, in the little bar in Clapham, that weekend! 😂
There’s nothing like being tucked up in your van when it’s raining outside and the company of a dog just makes it perfect.
Something super special about it isn't there! I love it

Yay, Branston! Fab vlog again. We’re just back from an overnighter (in Kent) now with a possible seized brake calliper for our troubles 😖
Great to see Branston I could never go away without my spaniel
Lovely to see Branston and loved how he took centre stage at the end. Take care Gill
Haha he always does... he got treats and so much love from the staff at the castle
Love Camber farm campsite.

Ah that's so lovely to hear. You'll get there with her mate. She's a great dog! Hope you're well

We’ve stayed at that site. It’s great and there is a lovely circular walk that we did from the site. Another great video Colin. 👍🏻
You’re a camper van ninja Colin!! Good to see Branston back! Love his directing skills!!!
Thanks Colin, love your videos, really fun, helpful and informative always. Lots of campsites on our list now.
Cracking vlog, looked amazing just having some Branston time

Lovely campsite and lovely, lovely dog. Well done. 👍

Awww more Brantson please!! Ahh after seeing your pot noodle eats and oatly in your fridge I wrongly assumed you were veggie/vegan!

Ah thats ace... enjoy and say hi to Amie and Ross from me :)

Wow, that seems very expensive, plus extra for Branston! Lovely site but unless they drop the price its not on my list 🙂
What takes up more of your bed - Branston or Michelle?
Excellent video and good to see you out and about again exploring new places.
Haha definitely Michelle, I have to sleep upstairs 🤣🤣

Hi Colin. Love the videos. Just wondered where did you get your firepit and matt from? Cheers
Hey the firepit is from Dub Styling and the matt is from yhe outdoor matting company:)

While you were ‘processing’ whether to take the canopy down, I did wonder how you’d do it without getting it near the fire 😂
Haha it was a concern, but having the firepit on the grass protector meant that I could slide it out of the way until I'd got the awning down. I should have filmed that bit
@@Yorkshirepoptopadventures Ah yes, I didn’t think of that 😀
Hey great informative vid again. What’s the foil mat under your fire pit?
Hey buddy, thank you!
It's called a firepit ground protector and it stops the firepit scorching the grass ;)
Great not seen on. I am pleased it works. I thought it might be an old camera flash screen.

Thanks matey!
The clothes I wear go in to a plastic bag when I come in from the camp fire and the doors always stay firmly closed when the fire is lit.
