- After blowing up our turbo at the National Farm Machinery Show in our Pro Stock and breaking a fuel line during our first tractor pull with our 4.1 Limited Pro Stock it's time to do some fixing on our pulling tractors. Join the boys as they assess the Thunderclutch and Greggie as he works on his turbo in the t.8 Tomcat.

Why do you inject water before the turbo? Does that not reduce the amount of air the turbo can flow? Crazy that you use 2 gallons of water. How much fuel do you use in a pull? Thanks for putting up the pulling videos!
Thanks for showing us some of the thing you do on your tractors, what is that cone shaped thing on the charge air pipe of the Thunder Clutch, is it safety thing to keep turbo part out of the engine? Good luck on your pulls love watching them.
Basically a turbo catcher - if the turbo comes apart it’ll catch the pieces before it gets into the engine
O ring is best but you could use 545 thread sealant. I have nearly quit using tape.

How longs it take for oil pressure to come up on them things?? Cold or hot?
It’s a variable drive pump, so it’s a constant 120 PSI whether it’s cold or hot

why did yall go with a jd engine instead of a new holland engine in t8 tomcat
Maybe because they are better... 🤣🤣🤣 I had to poke you on your comment. I would guess it's because of the displacement of the engine that would fit in the space allowed. Different blocks have different bolt patterns and frame mounts as well. I'm sure they will give you a more precise answer. 👍

Which tractor is more powerful? Can you explain the differences and the classes that they are in?
There limited pro has a 4.1 turbo I’m pretty sure and 540 cubes and the new holland might be a 6 inch turbo with 680 cubes
The red one is 640cubic inches 4.1 inch turbo weighing 9500lbs making about 2700-3200hp. And the Blue one is 680cubic inches with up to 6inch turbo and a intercooler weighing 10,000lbs making roughly 4500-5000hp.
