    This video is very helpful. I just did 5 pairs on an 8335R. From this video I learned about I didn’t need to change those o rigs in the back. Huge time saver!

    Those inner o rings are a real son of a gun to replace! Learned my lesson, I only change them if they look torn or show some type of sign of damage. Usually carry a couple sets of those in my truck inventory and if need to use them at least I have some to replace. Great video ZK!

    Deere has had a big problem with these couplers. 6R thru 8R series. They bleed off they the drain port back to the rear end housing so the won’t hold pressure or when connected they will blow the coupler out like it wasn’t hooked up properly. There is a reason most all dealers have multiple ones of these in stock.

  • @rollincoal7768
    @rollincoal7768 2 года назад +7

    How did you know that the couplers were bad and not the o-rings when you tested them? Obviously you were right but my first thought would be to replace the o-rings. Great video btw

    On the coupler cartridges are they smearing the outer ring? We have issues on our agco machines with the ring forward of the collar. Most of them just get the one ring. The are usually smeared towards the rear

    if they are not holding pressure on CNH 4WD tractors they will actually pop all the couplers out when enough pressure builds up.

    • @ZKMasterTech

      You would have to have the housing machined and have a hardened steel sleeve installed in the housing for the lower bearing.

      @@ZKMasterTech There is a hex end. If you protect it with leather and put in vise you can seperate it. Less than 20ftlbs. There are 2 orings that can be replaced. Problem: shoots oil when nothing connected and scv is actavated.

    Replacing couplers, would this fix hose's popping out on cold mornings be for the hydraulic oil warms up? Our 9620 is terrible for for this.
