This thing with the badge is like a circus... Can it be turned off? Flashing sign, funny and obtrusive... and the LED line between the headlights is already an exaggeration . I like subtle , not a flashy
You can buy a base model that doesn't have it. As for the lights between badge and headlights this is required by law if you want to illuminate the badge.
All this unnecessary and excessive lighting functionality and no cover for the cup holders (or bonnet strut)?? Come on VW!

Those indicators are really poor especially the rear . , especially for pedestrians and pulling out T junctions 90 degree side on, or reversing out of a driveway . I strongly doubt they can be seen in bright light at all

Looks too gimmicky with all the lights for a little space.

It's Christmas tree. 70% of this lighting system is useless. Good bit is bright main white lighting. Rest is too bright and overdone. Different colors for different parts of the door- really? I wish for better finish (softer materials) than this useless lighting.
Still not as sexy as the 7.5 Golf. The car is chunky and the body doesn’t suit the wheels they are releasing. Light don’t make the car sexy in my opinion. We a that look gorgeous to look at and looks balanced when taking corners. The body roll on the mk8 is terrible I test drove the GTE and the standard one I’m not a fan and it’s over priced 😅
