Just to be completely honest, the before and after footage was taken 1.5 months apart. This is because I didn’t actually start the 30 Day challenge until about 2 weeks after filming the before shots. Just wanted to clarify this in case you’re wondering why my hair grew as much as it did.. once again, 1.5 months between the footage. Thanks for watching and supporting me ❤️
If your hair seems dry the Nizoral shampoo is probably what’s drying it out if you get a higher quality ketoconazole shampoo it won’t dry out as much or at least I’ve heard. Also you shouldn’t put anything on your head after derma rolling because all of your pores are open mpmd has a video saying when to use the Minoxidil with derma rolling but for sure not a good idea no wonder the essential oils burned

Cleaning up the diet and eating more healthy is by far the best thing anyone can do for their body and their looks. You just showed perfectly how much difference that makes. The other things may help a little but the food and drink is what makes most of the difference. Good job with demonstrating this.
Exactly, diet is everything, our bloat, muscles, energy, skin clearness, and mental health. Diet and exercise is the biggest part of looksmaxxing that can ascend you the most. Aswell as it boosts testosterone incredibly and we all know the effects of healthy and high T
I'm from a part of Europe where people are thinner than the us or UK. To me, at the beginning of the video, he looked overweight, a bit muscular but definitely fat and bloated.

Comparison at - 9:08 This is a question of color grading in the video and "make up" (you changed your hair)... nothing else. I just want to alert people and not demoralize the youtuber because I think he spreads a good message overall throughout his youtube channel. But, these comparison parts are most likely always a scam. Before: White balance was green/yellowish (look at the wall) After: White balance was more blueish and skin tones were brought to a red tone to look more healthy Always question everything you see! Keep up the good work Dylan! Your videos are great and I love the message and positivity you spread overall! 💪
I watched this video very skeptically. And every point in which he tried out something, my skepticism was proven right. Idk if he’s doing it on purpose or not, but a lot of what I watched looked like a huge 11 minute ad video. I’m seeing a lot of people in the comments commenting the video as genuine and real.
This sounds like the ' you can achieve what he did naturally if you work hard enough ' while looking at some fake natty that went from 60kg to 80 in 1.5 year and shredded.
As a woman, I appreciate this. I am an average looking woman. But I've let myself go and I know I'm below average right now. Sometimes we don't people to tell us "no you're so hot!!"
Everyone is hot when they take care of themselves, first focus on your mental health, once you feel like you're there, taking care of your appearance won't even feel like a chore and will actually be a really smooth process

Some Tips: I hope will help: Everything can be found in Target or AMZN. You as a lifter know and have an understanding of lighting and shadow right? Same thing applies here. The bathroom lighting is from above, downwards and directly at you which makes you "see" dark circles. If you see yourself lit from the sides and below with diffused light the "dark circles" arent there. The purple toothpaste is a gimmick. I noticed you have attachments on your teeth for invisalign. Crest 3D Diamond Strong mouthwash will whiten your teeth in a week. Brush/floss/tongue scrape normally. Put the trays in, and swish the mouthwash and spit. Dont rinse. Your teeth and the rinse are sitting in the trays and they will get brighter/whiter. Or use Crest Whiten strips as directed. I understand the colour theory of purple/blue cancelling out yellow... but the toothpaste isnt effective enough to actually begin brightening vs just optically diluting a colour over your teeth for an hour. Skip all the other essential oils which can cause breakouts and use Rosemary. It's proven to improve circulation and hair growth. Mielle makes really good Rosemary hair products that are super affordable. If you want a bit more skin colour which will show off more muscle definition, try Tan Luxe (Sephora). A few drops mixed with any body lotion apply all over - non streaky and it develops gradually over time into a very natural sun kissed look without orange hands. A super affordable and basic skin product routine. Ceravee, or La Roche-Posay. Get a cleanser, with Salicylic Acid (because you have acne). something with Niacinamide (to help with redness/angry skin) and then a moisturiser with SPF.
and what do you think really helps with the Jawline other than fat loss. 3 of my friends got a really strong and well defined jawline after chewing hard gum for 2 months straight without any side effects. What else do you think would help?
Salicylic acid thins out the skin and makes it more susceptible to sun damage. My aesthetician advised against it. Just keeping the face clean and moisturized, along with not touching it, should be good enough.
He also needs to shave the sides of his hair and get a fade, the cut he has is ugly asf and makes it look like he is a 40 year old balding, i thought i was balding until i cut my sides too then realised im just dumb
I wouldn’t say you were bad looking before but now you are generally a great looking dude. “Looksmaxing” isn’t a term I’ve ever heard before but it sounds like you just started taking care of yourself properly. It’s amazing how much better people can look if they just took the time to use proper hygiene. Women do that all of the time with makeup and stuff like that and it can make them go from 0 to 10. It’s sad that you thought you looked bad when really you just had to fine-tune a few of your facial features. It’s so easy for us to be harsh with ourselves when it when it comes to our appearance. Kudos to you for having the self awareness to realize that.
You had a lot of potential, just like most people who call themselves "ugly". Difference is you actually did something with that potential. Too many people don't realize how much work goes into looking good.
Man, I really hope this reaches you and find a way to your heart and soul. I was depressive for 23 years out of my 26 years of life. I survived cancer at 8, and my mom had me follow a very strict diet. She was also a ballet dancer, and I was simply not allowed to gain any weight. As a result, I developed a sort of eating disorder. I always had a very fast metabolism and was bullied bad for being "too skinny". I really hated my life. I would work, train, and do everything right, better and harder than anyone I knew, and I thought this was the answer all along... but I was wrong. Yes : bettering yourself is one of the keys to happiness! But the other one is self-acceptance, appreciation of your life and what you have. You may not have a particularly handsome face, but your body is *extremely above average* - if this is you in bad shape, I mean, you are truly a beast. It saddens me to see you having such body dysmorphia. At the end of the day tho, the secret to happiness is to accept yourself! I put on 20 pounds and went from 140 6' 3" to 6' 5" and 175 pounds within roughly 7 months. Which means right now, I do not have a model physique for the first time in my life - I've always been from super-skinny, size zero woman almost to average weight, low bodyfat. But now, I've bulked a tiny bit much and I have between 18 and 20 percent bodyfat. At the beginning it was weird. My mom saw me and she always pushed really hard for me to have a perfectly flat stomach. But this time, I didn't listen. This time I didn't let it go through me. I fought and told my parents how hard I worked for this. I know that I have a good diet and a better training regimen now! I met a lovely woman and we want to make a life together. I have great friends and equally great opportunities. And, I need a little calorie deficit every day and I'll look 2x as better within a year!! All those great things were all around me but I simply couldn't see them. So maybe, just maybe, you should try something else in your life. Maybe try training your mind... Buddhism, stoïcism tend to resonate with fitness types like you and me. My body is not perfect, I have eyebags and my teeth are a bit yellowed sometimes. But I don't care! My partner isn't perfect either... She wanna lose weight and I'm accompanying her on every step of this journey, including the missteps, which are steps, too! It's a lot easier to accept a little fall back when you accept yourself and your life as it is first. You have a great RUclips channel. You have a ridiculously good physique - seriously, I mean, dude : get some therapy, and I say that very respectfully, you'll thank me later because your perceptions is wildly flawed, body-wise you looks just amazing, yes ok your face is fairly average but when you *smile* it's not because then no face is average!!! You can do this. I know you can. We ALL believe in you. Now go for the greatest challenge you will ever find : ACCEPTING YOURSELF.
I have no idea why somebody like you would consider himself average. I would die to look like you, even just a little bit. You are better looking than 90% of people plus you have an outstandingly good physique.
Just an anekdote on the beta carotine: when I was 3 or 4 I just refused drinking water and only wanted to drink carrot juice, lol. Like 80% of what I drank was only carrot juice for some months, i don‘t even know why my parents let me do that. After that months, I looked so different on pics, like my skin took a slight bronze colour :D So I can confirm that rumor.
Thata just excess caroten being stored in your body giving you an orangish complexion. Not necessarily toxic, however just keep it to 1 carrot a day max otherwise you might become too orange 😂

1:33 It's ironic he uses the dragon scroll as an example for the "looksmaxing" ebook, because the whole point of the scroll was that there wasn't some secret or power that makes you the dragon warrior, the scroll is literally a mirror. We should all take advice from Kung Fu Panda and recognize that we are already the version of ourselves we want to be, we are perfect how we are. You don't have to buy some tiktoker's ai written ebook to look like every single dude on tik tok, live your life, work out, and be confident in yourself.
Bro you must’ve been high went you posted this comment. You’re far from perfect . The point here is for progress and not perfection. What makes this a stand-out video for me is that I feel you are GENUINELY not chasing internet validation. Instead, you've looked in the mirror, thought you needed to change and got the hell on with it. So many guys never reach their potential because they look at the fantasy of Instagram, feel they cannot compete, and then don't try. Every guy that is inspired to be the best version of themselves is a win. Great video, great channel. Thanks man.
As someone thats going through the same thing I ralate a lot to you here, I have to say it’s hard af specially if you where considered average/good looking and going to ugly hits really hard, keep these type of videos coming they are real and needed in an era where everyone pretends to be perfect. Don`t worry too much about hair receding. When i was going into and then through my 20s my hair definitely receded but then stopped by about my mid to late 20s. Although i wasn`t using gear until i was in my 30s so you should bear that in mind (although instead of doing gear then i was doing a LOT of recreational drugs) Be VERY careful with DHT blockers as some have long lasting/possibly permanent ED and other issues. Plus gear i known for causing premature aging.
Btw, you dont need to worry about having a pale complexion. Sunlight ages your skin faster than anything else. So staying out of the sun is actually the best form of spf. Only thing, is you need to take vitamin d if you are never in the sun.
Being the sun for a short bit because he wasnt getting it is not going to age him that fast especially if he is wearing sunscreen. Humans feel better in the sun for a reason.
@@thezu9250 true. It's just I was him a year ago, and I started going out in the sun all the time, then my skin aged like over night after being out in the sun all day one time. So now I take wearing sunscreen seriously.
I think the diet, sleep and psychological health improvements are still the most major factors in your transformation. Maybe the hair stuff too. I just wanna say that almost half of what the eBook contains might mostly be some bullshit. Also don't be too hard on your macetor trainer. The excess training routines for this muscle could actually cause severe problems with nearly every part of your mouth (teeth, jaws, the muscle itself). Your content is great. All i want to say is that all of us need to consider such health and routine advice with a grain of salt and also to fact-check EVERY major look/health routine change in our day-to-day life.
I was ready to judge this video based on some other content you've made, but decided to give it a shot and its amazing how much better (at least in my eyes) you're stuff has gotten!
If you don't mind my saying so, Getting a haircut that is shorter on the sides will help make your face appear thinner. Also I agree with working the jaw muscles. I've looked into that subject a lot.

If you aren't doing so already, you should mix the essential oils into a carrier oil before applying them to the skin. You can get some bad skin irritations if you put them on full strength.
I think working out and eating healthy is so underrated. It's amazing how much those two factors alone can influence how we look. Water is also amazing. And yes; a skin routine is important. I have very delicate and sensitive skin so I usually "wash" my face with water and then do a gentle mask once a week. I've also incorporated honey and sugar as an exfoliating treatment once per week, as well. Some other things I'd like to mention: Curious about what your thoughts are on solutions for face tone correction and skin texture treatments? Would love to find content online that dives into that. I feel like it takes a lot of deep-diving for me to even scratch the surface on such topics. Perhaps my word search abilities need some improvement? lol.
Hey dude, just some advice, using essentials is fine but putting them directly on the skin like that is not good for your health longterm. You have to dilute them a bit with a carrier oil.

I'm taking minoxidil in capsule and finasteride, and I couldn't believe my hair came back. You should look for a trichologist and ask for minoxidil in that way, this habit of dripping minoxidil on the scalp is less effective, and it is annoying and impractical to drip everyday; it is easier to simply take the pill once a day. Finasteride does not bring your hair back, it just stops the DHT production process, what will make your hair grow back is minoxidil, with blood vessel irrigation.
@@JP.......... Tried fin like 3 times. Every time after about a week I had breast pain and stopped. Trichologist had me take saw palmetto instead, 200g twice daily. It's cheap if you source powder; just ablut $5 for a 5 month supply. I maintained my hairline since I was 14. I am 30 and I look younger than the fella in the video and I ought to start giving myself more credit for sticking to the self care for years. The sooner you start, the better. If you notice changes, go on minoxidil and just keep using it. Use multi-step skin care routine., it's not meant to reduce signs of aging, it's about maintenance. I've yet to have a single wrinkle.
@@JP.......... I've been taking it for about 2 years now and I haven't noticed anything; there's a friend of mine who complains of a lack of sexual appetite, but I think it's psychological or other problems, not the medicine; I have read that some people taking finasteride have problems with libido, but studies have failed to link lack of libido with finasteride. I noticed that my body hair started to grow faster, probably the effect of the minoxidil capsule.
I have been taking finasteride for 5 months. No side effects. I want to take oral minoxidl. Would you recommend me oral minoxidl? Im afraid of side effects from oral minox. I dont want to take topical minox because of the hassle of applying it twice a day
@@SideEffects297 I had some sides from oral minoxidil, i started taking 1mg per day at night. My face, my eyes, my feet and my legs were swelling a lot, i also gained 3kg of water retencion. I don't think I'm ever gonna "looksmax" starting to become narcissistic and obsessed with my flaws is a recipe for disaster, specially while getting older I will clean my diet, do exercise, get more sun and starting using after shower lotion for my face but that's it if hair wants to go away I'll shave
@@user-br2gi8kh5s whatever the fuck you guys want to call it, it's just keeping your fucking mouth shut and not be a mouthbreather, I already do that also I already chew gum, eat actual food that isn't just tender and I'm pretty handsome so I have no interest in "maxing" my looks like I said, better diet, more exercise, sun and moisturizing my face
This is the ugliest my skin had ever been. My acne had completely destroyed my self-confidence, everyone laughed at me saying "you can't even clear your skin even after doing so much skincare". I cried everyday, 6 months ago I had perfect crystal clear glass skin. And today, I have a shit ton of acne. I do alot of skincare and nothing helped except salicylic acid and it only helped a bit. So, around 4 days ago I bought this new Indian Ayurvedic acne cream and my god this thing works wonders! This is the holy grail for my acne! My acne has improved so much till now. It completely healed my acne and flattened it in 2 days. Hopefully, I could get my old skin back in a few weeks or months.. Happy with my journey so far 😁.
I know you said you weren’t doing it for compliments but trust me you were never average before. You’re very handsome and look like an actor in one of those sexy college films like Rules of Attraction or something. Don’t worry too much about the routine sometimes less is more as long as you have a good quality cleanser and moisturiser preferably with SPF that are not full of nasty chemicals and preservatives you should be fine. Just be careful with sun exposure because it’s literally the only thing that ages your skin like mad alongside something like smoking or excessive drinking. Ideally you don’t want to look like you are using any products so sometimes too much skincare can make you look worse.
This is what I try to explain to people when I say my face shape shifts when I’m going through low periods. My face bloats and my skin doesn’t have this clarity to it and overall body holds onto a lot of water retention. And when I change my habits in just over a week or two I see changes. It’s wild but self care and healthy diet and life style affects us physically from the inside and out
For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. Jesus Christ loves you so much that He died for your sins and rose from the dead. If you repent from evil ways, believe that Jesus has paid the fine for your sins on the cross and confess Him as your Lord, you will be saved. You see, we all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God, that's why Jesus Christ, fullness of Godhead bodily, lived a perfect life, fulfilled the prophecies and law, shed His Blood at the cross just so you could be forgiven, reconciled back to the Father, receive God's love, be made a new creation, whole, sanctified. It's not about religion and what good works you can do to earn salvation, it's only by grace through faith in the finished works of Jesus Christ. Read God's Word, preferably start with Gospel of John, pray for the Holy Spirit to fill you, give you wisdom and revelation that way you're born again and see your life changed by the Spirit of the Most High. I don't typically watch guy content like this. I typically stick to science, makeup, horror, gaming and philosophy... And the few times I have clicked on videos that have similar thumbnails, captions and buzzwords... I always regret it. It's always some Jake Paul personality mixed with overly confident jerk trying to manipulate you into believing some BS is gonna do this or that ridiculous claim. But you were a breath of fresh air. You're seem genuine, realistic, honest about both the good and the bad, and you acknowledge that self esteem issues can be created or increased if you end up over analyzing your own flaws and that that's not ok. And you showcase both close and far shots of your skin and hair and you're open and up front about these things... And then on top of that, you're even open about your own insecurities surrounding them. I really respect that and if this is actually a genuine representation of who you actually are as a person (like when nobody is there to watch you but you'll still do the right thing) Then I hope that you never allow yourself to lose sight of this person. You seem like a good human being and I hope that whatever you're struggling with, whether on camera or off, that it improves for you or that you are able to get rid of your insecurities surrounding whatever they may be, if they even exist?
I know makeup is a feminine thing to be using, but if you just use a concealer just under your eyes you can conceal the purple so easily. Sometimes purple eyebags are genetic and makeup is the only way to fix them.
Depression and hate, blocks you all from reaching your peak. Remember that fixing your mental is just as important. You can look the greatest but lacking the confidence will cause all of it to be pointless.
I’m so sorry to hear about your bad place. Just know that your worth is not based on what other people think, it’s how you think of yourself. If you can look in the mirror and feel happy, that’s the point of success :) (obviously if you’re obese I’m not sure people would be happy about that, so I’m definitely not saying that being fat is okay 😅)
I don't want to undermine any of your hard work, but in what world are you average looking? You're definitely conventionally attractive, both your body and facial features are considered beautiful at least by the western beauty standards. That said, it's amazing how many small life changes can change how we feel about ourselves and we get to value ourselves and that leads to feeling more beautiful.
Yeah it’s funny for most guys to watch it he’s like 8 face, 9 body to begin with and his only negative is the receding hairline. Looks to me like all he had to do was get more chiseled, sleep well and a skincare routine… great work nonetheless, we all have individual starting points.
@@tradenchill9123 What you people don’t seem to understand is that beauty is just completely subjective and what you may perceive as an 8 others may perceive as a 4 or even a 10.
I don't get how anyone is falling for this. His before is bad lighting, breathing out and purposely giving himself a bad haircut. The only major differences are a tan and clearing up acne. 10lb weight loss in a week when you're already at a healthy weight, which he clearly is, is insane, a lot of that would be muscle, not water.
You're not an average-looking guy. At 0:02 you can already tell you're attractive. Just because you've shaved badly on purpose and you have some acne and black circles under the eyes doesn't hide the fact that you can be very attractive. And it's not a complement like you mentioned in 0:30, it's just the starting point isn't exactly the average, so the result you get isn't average either. But what you show is ofc works, women use it.
Good efforts on the safe-care! First time seeing your content and your presentation is nice too. One thing that came to my mind.. it seems like a lot of your "before" photos have a camera angle facing upwards (evident by the shape of your nostrils) compared to your "after" photos. Those angles definitely play a part as well! Our "screen image" is never the same as seeing things with our own eyes irl
One thing that really worked for me was more water intake I just forgot to drink throughout the day then I got a one gallon waterbottle I can take with me everywhere I go and I feel so much more healthy but also look a lot younger again

More power to this guy

Now go for the greatest challenge you will ever find :
ACCEPTING YOURSELF.
thank you

I think the diet, sleep and psychological health improvements are still the most major factors in your transformation. Maybe the hair stuff too. Also mix your essential oils in a carrier oil (castor is the BEST) if you want!

And you showcase both close and far shots of your skin and hair and you're open and up front about these things...
And then on top of that, you're even open about your own insecurities surrounding them.
I really respect that and if this is actually a genuine representation of who you actually are as a person (like when nobody is there to watch you but you'll still do the right thing)
Then I hope that you never allow yourself to lose sight of this person.
You seem like a good human being and I hope that whatever you're struggling with, whether on camera or off, that it improves for you or that you are able to get rid of your insecurities surrounding whatever they may be, if they even exist?

U r a good role model for normalizing being average looking. There's nothing wrong with it.
bro is not average looking lol
@@5tone_10A lot of good looking people look “average” due to poor self care. Not that complicated.
@@thezu9250you are yapping
You look great! Keep taking care of yourself ❤
Relax man, don't have to go hard on yourself. Sometimes you may not look the best. Most importantly is that you keep grinding
Is this not the edited video you scammed from someone?
It is
Yep

Rooting for you! Keep moving forward brother.
We are not ugly.
We just dont know how to treat our body.

You look like a male version of me, physically and also in the sense of feeling average. I'm gonna try this looksmaxxing as well.
average ? wtf. you way over the avarege from the start. you have more muscles than 99 procent of the male population.
dylan never fails to pump my cheeks full of cream 😊🙏
What the hell 😊🔥🙏

Stop takeing juice. Your muscles will colapse but so will your hairloss.
Looks NOTHING like the giga-chad thumbnail. But, views achieved. 👍🏼
Im i the only one noticing that this video is totally cap and basically just a collection of ads?????
Average looking guy? Good nose, eye brows, eyes, jaw, tall and overall genetics.. mate you have to appreciate yourself..
He’s average
He went from 6 to 7, that's it@@tradenchill9123
@@tradenchill9123 What you people don’t seem to understand is that beauty is just completely subjective and what you may perceive as an 8 others may perceive as a 4 or even a 10.
I don't get how anyone is falling for this. His before is bad lighting, breathing out and purposely giving himself a bad haircut. The only major differences are a tan and clearing up acne. 10lb weight loss in a week when you're already at a healthy weight, which he clearly is, is insane, a lot of that would be muscle, not water.
@@rageface5985 Not to mention the before after thumbnail picture isn't even him, or his heavily photoshopped.
But what you show is ofc works, women use it.
man thank you for this video, it's more relatable than you know
Good efforts on the safe-care!
I been drinking a gallon of water w day for a few years it’s cool, but idk it doesn’t make much of a crazy physical difference, it’s more mental
I mean depending on how much water he was consuming before it could actually make a huge physical difference
