    The foods I will be eating are:
    ➡️ ONLY plants - remove ALL animal products from the diet (essential).
    ➡️ Based meals on STARCHES. Watch this video if you are unsure: • Starchy Foods? Non-Sta...
    ➡️ LOTS of non-starchy veggies.
    ➡️ 50/50 Plate is optional, but I will be doing this regularly. Watch this video if unsure: • WHAT CAN I EAT ON THE ...
    ➡️ Fruit? Yes! 2 or 3 pieces a day max for the 30 day challenge.
    ➡️ No OIL (essential) - cooking without oil is easy, I have done this for years.
    ➡️ Remove foods that are processed (snacks and ready meals etc).
    ➡️ Tofu? Avocado? Nuts? Seeds? Bread? Pasta? - This is all up to you and depends where you are coming from and what your goals are. I will have a little, but not lots daily as these are 'maintenance' foods and are processed essentially. I want to be in 'weight-loss' mode. These are not 'bad' foods!!!!!!
    (Optional) I suggest taking some measurements, your weight and photos before hand and afterwards, as this can be very motivational.
    RECIPE: Jackfruit Chili
    Tip - Don't worry about the quantities; just add whatever you have! Next time I make it - it will be totally different I expect! This made 4-6 portions, we had it with rice.
    1 x 400g Can JackFruit
    1 x 400g Can Red Kidney Beans
    2 x 400g Plum Tomatoes
    2 x Large Red Onions
    2 x Cloves Garlic, crushed
    2 x Bell Peppers
    1 x Medium Courgette/Zuchinni
    200g Frozen Sweetcorn
    200g Frozen sliced Carrots
    200g Frozen sliced Mushrooms
    100g Dry Red Lentils
    1 TBSP Smoked Paprika
    2 TSP Heaped Chili Flakes
    1 TSP Bouillion Stock powder
    Salt and Pepper
    1. Chop Onions, water sautee with garlic for a few minutes on a med-high heat.
    2. Add everything else in. Add 150ml of water. Mix really well. Keep stirring it on med-high heat for 5 mins or so to get the heat throughout. Then turn down and simmer for about 30 mins. That's it!

    Congratulations on your weight loss Natalie.
    I love the look of your simple meals and you’ve given me some good ideas.
    My husband is not vegan and so I have two meals to prepare each evening. Keeping it simple is definitely the way to go for me.

    I am feeling good so far; I love how I feel after every meal, not only in the food I’m eating, but the dedication I’m making to myself in this challenge:) and it just feels good to be eating this way again!

    May I ask why you're just a tiny picture in the entire video? I like seeing a full screen, plus it helps my aging eyes. Just curious, because you started doing this once you came back. It's very odd, not to mention frustrating. Otherwise, I'm happy to see you back.

    I’ve been on this lifestyle for six years. I lost 30 lbs slowly and it stayed off. I believe it’s better to lose it slowly or your body responds by craving the wrong foods. I’ve never felt the least bit hungry eating this way.
