Virginia, thanks so much! I just spent way to many hours editing an upcoming video that just gave me one problem after another, so it was great to hear that you are enjoying these videos!
I love this method also because it allows me to use my small 16 row read pleater to pleat bigger sized bishops. (And I pleat with fabric right side down per reads instructions and it works just fine!)
I am glad that you like this method, so if you are putting the fabric through wrong side up, then when you remove the seam allowance from the needles, are you pushing it above the needles, rather than below? I hadn't thought of that but could see how it would work. You learn something new every day!
@@PinkHollybushDesigns yes, I push it above the needles! Oh and thanks for showing us what to do when we forget the take the threads out of the seam allowances-have done that a few times! Every time I just take everything out. It’s so nice to know there’s a way to save it!!
@@liaoclara320 you are welcome! I think if I had done it more than once I would have to take it out because more than one set of knots would prevent blocking the sections correctly, but since it was only that once, I could position that seam and pull from each end to block it.
This is a genius method!
Thank you Melanie. I didn't invent it and don't know who did but I find it is a great way to do it.
Another awesome tutorial..thank you Lisa😊
