How to get Naultinus sp. In New Zealand? Are there breeders in large quantity such leopard gecko breeder or private breeder or pet store or wild caught with special permitt? How it works in New Zealand?
It’s a temporary outdoor enclosure for hot days ….not permanent, but yes steel or aluminium is the minimum requirement for husbandry standards for permanent outdoor enclosures
Even temporary enclosures need to be up to scratch and meet requirements. And even if that wasn't a requirement why would one risk animals that are not even your animals (still under Doc's ultimate care) to potential loss, injury or death due to inadequate mesh. Not a risk I would take and not something I would recommend to anyone.
@@reinogrundling8864 the vid is aimed at people keeping all types of arboreal geckos….popular options for crested, gargoyle, mourning , tokay and other international species , as uvb easily penetrates through nylon mesh. This was not specific to nz geckos and never a recommendation just my. People should always do their research. Nz Herpetological society is the gospel.
@@MaxtheGROT Don't pay attention to this know-it-all. These types of people, feeling the urge to showcase their theoritical superiority to everyone and their grandmother are part of the bad apples in any hobby. Great video! Enjoy those amazing geckos, i'm sure they are in very good hands!

Fabric mesh doesn't actually meet DOC husbandry standards. Minimum is steel or aluminium mesh.
