Also it’s true what you said about being responsible owner. I work a lot and I think this Chahoua will be my last reptile since it’s my 3rd one and I want to make sure I provide the best care for the 3 that I have.

Those purple vampire crabs are so freaking adorable!!! I love the sand geckos as well and those new ones are beautiful too! I can't wait for all the videos when you set them all up.

It’s great to see that you add the disclaimer, because quite honestly those kids that had those purchases worry me that they will have no idea how to properly care for them. I worked at an exotic animal clinic and most a lot of parents would get them to pacify their kids and end up not caring for them.

For sure! Thankfully, a lot of these children have parents who are equally, if not more, passionate about specialty pet keeping, but I still think your concern is absolutely valid!

Did not expect vampire crabs to be an animal available in the pet trade (all my expo experience is vicariously through channels like yours).

I always brows morph market with an air of discouragement, because I’m not at the point in the hobby to be importing animals but can never find Canadian breeders on there for some reason. I’ll have to make the drive to the show next year 😍

Looks like you had a blast dude 🙂 Can't wait to see what setup you do for the vampire crabs 😀 I'm very curious about parthenogenetic geckos also, I wonder how their population works? Like do they only produce enough for the space and food intake or is it one of those things where you'll need to trade them to keep population controlled? Hmm.

I almost got some vampire crabs at the expo myself. I used to have red apple crabs. They are so much fun to watch and handle.

Completely unrelated to this video, but there’s not really anyone I’d really want to ask. I’m going to be moving. Do you have any videos on moving critters to a new home? I’m moving literally 2500 miles away from where I am now, and I don’t know what my best course of action will be. Or if you know of any good videos you can point me to!
