OMG, thank you so much! I've been selling on Poshmark for 2 years now, and just starting to understand how to get more sales, working on getting the ambassador badge too (only in the last 2 weeks). This bundle thing has come up multiple times with buyers putting things into a bundle - all I have done was ignore it or send an offer. Earlier today I looked up info about bundles on Poshmark's blog and heard that I could add an item or share an item from my closet to the bundle without the item changing order in the closet and give them an offer.
Much of the time it's a person adding 1 item to the bundle. My guess is they intended to buy more than 1 item, but could not find something else that they liked.
I'm so glad it's a flat price for all the items as long as it is 5lb or less - was not sure on what the shipping discount would have been.

I’ve been selling on poshmark for over a year and could never figure out how to make a bundle on the seller’s side. It is not intuitive at all trying to figure it out on my own. Thank you for showing a visual of what to do.

Wow! Thank you! I had no idea about the bundle discounts. I mean I have had people create bundles but I would just offer them a discount on the single items. I was also not aware of how to get to their bundled items from their page and add stuff till you just showed me. This coming Monday with be my two weeks mark of selling on Poshmark. Yes...although I've been on posh for quite sometime....when I get a bundle....I'm not sure really of the next move....I offer a discount and then usually don't hear back. Once in awhile with one item I offer a discount and will get a sell. Good vid ! Corie

Wow. If someone bundled my order without me asking I would automatically go somewhere else. I detest pushy sales people. That makes me do an immediate about face and I will never go back. But I understand what you are saying and I don't blame them for trying to make more sales. That is just me and if it works for the seller then hey more power to them. Great info. You know what you are talking about.

Hey! I had been meaning to ask you about when you comment on a bundle for CCO day, I remember when I bought from you, you said Posh would cover 2.12 shipping, but I think when the price is lowered 20% or more you get 3.99 shipping. Don’t quote me on that but I’ve gotten 3.99 shipping before on a CCO day in your closet!

I noticed that on CCO day when I lowered the price on an item, that sometimes $3.99 shipping would be offered. I couldn't figure out why exactly. It seemed to only occur when I lowered the price of a higher priced item. I asked Poshmark about this and they said it is completely random.

I sold my 1st bundle it was 5 items total. I put them all in 1 box and printed the label and dropped it at post office dropbox. Now I'm nervous because... I don't know how much those items weighed. What if it weighs more then the 7 dollar paid shipping?

Wow SUPER helpful to a new seller! What would you say is a good average discount percentage for a bundle of two? It’s hard to find a balance of giving the buyer a good deal but yet still making enough profit to be worth it.
I am responding to this SO LATE, but I would say it just really depends. If it's two items that I just want to get rid of, sometimes I'll offer a 50% off discount haha. Generally speaking, I price my items up by 20-30% to leave room for offers, so I do typically drop prices on bundles by at least 20% to make it as enticing of an offer as possible.

Hi Becky, I am still somewhat confused about bundling so I hope you can help. When you put something in a bundle does that mean a buyer has to buy every item in that bundle or can they buy individual items. All the items in a bundle from my closet is added to a bundle by other sellers. How can I add things to a bundle from my closet and also add items from other sellers clothes to my bundle, So with the $717 shipping discount it not necessary to add the $5.95 shipping discount right?

Hi Becky. I am new at Postmark and made the mistake of offering a bundle . The buyer offered for one item - and wants the second item. Does she need to confirm an offer on the second item? I can't figure out what to do next. only one item is listed as sold.
Someone put a baseball mitt for $10 in a bundle. It can sit there all year, I’m not lowering.
How do you handle it when a customer puts 40 items in a bundle that will be way over 10 pounds? I have a customer who has done this and I saw from her feedback that she obviously buys big bundles. I can't find any information any where on how to handle that. Hope you see this and I hope you have a suggestion. Thank you.

Hi Becky: how can I add to somebody’s bundle an item that they hadn’t like?
If you already have a bundle discount set for your buyers (ex. 3 items=20% off) would it be applied automatically from the initial price when they check out or would I calculate that discount when I send them an offer?

What if they bundles 3 pairs of shoes and already asked for a discount. One pair of those shoes I reduced the shipping to 4.99. Do they pay one time shipping for all three pairs of shoes?

Hi Becky. I just love your videos and as a newbie they are very helpful. This one was great too. A couple of questions when you have time are…when you bundle an item I’m assuming they only pay the $7.67 shipping cost or whatever the amount is. What if they need to return one of the two items is that a problem when it’s in a bundle? Also if you bundle an item and then Poshmark does a Closet clear out promotion do you have to be 10% lower than the amount you offered in the bundle? Thanks again for all that you do. You are great!
Hi, Paula! If there's an issue from one item in a bundle, Poshmark makes the buyer return everything. Then the customer has the option to buy it again, but it's an annoying process. IN regards to closet clear out, I don't believe it takes bundle offers into account. I hope that helps!

How do you know what other items they like from the bundle? Bundle is confusing and more work for sellers. Mercari does not do bundle.

Do you have any advice for people that "like" an item but never accept offers? I started posh in Feb this year and have been building my closet,. have gotten a lot of likes recently and so I'll send out an offer, but never hear back. She goes for comments. I'll respond with what they ask and tell them to reach out for anymore questions and I'll be happy to answer, and nothing. I don't want to be a bug-a-boo and blow them up so I just leave it be if they don't respond.
Hi there! Great video. When someone wants to add an item to a bundle you’ve already sent an offer on to them, do you have to wait until that offer expires? Or is there a way to add that item? It seems to be blocked until the offer expires.

Just got a large bundle request that may need two boxes. Just wondering about printing a label for both. I know I will need to cover a good part of the shipping but do I label the second box myself? Will it still be tracked in PM?
Thinking about this more...maybe I can let the buyer know I will separate the items into two bundles with free shipping and a good offer, particularly to keep the items safer through shipping. I have breakables. What do you think. I’ll let you know how things go. Thank you!

Need help on HOW to MAKE AN OFFER.... I have no clue.
If you’re doing a bundle and it’s SIGNIFICANTLY over weight... how do you do that? Like I have several home décor items that are 3-4lbs and I get bundles of 6-7 items. No one has purchased yet but I have sent bundle offers before. It hadn’t occurred to me that since of these bundles could be 15-25 lbs I didn’t know how the labels would work.
What if someone with no pic, no id, no listing, no nothing to identify themselves has put 1 item in a bundle?

Great video, but I’m still confused about the “suggested selling” function. So, can you suggest an item from your own closet that a buyer did not like? In other words, how am I suggesting “a belt” if the prospective buyer did not like it in the first place? Because you discuss “suggested selling”, but you don’t demonstrate that process in the app. Do I just tell the buyer in writing that I also have a belt that they might like?

You can add anything to anyone’s bundle by pressing that icon in the center with the shopping bag and plus sign! They don’t need to have liked it in order for you to add it to their bundle.

Laura Rosch I see what you’re asking, and you’re right-I didn’t show how to do that in this video. You can do this a couple ways-when you’ve selected what item you want to put in the bundle, press the “share” icon. But rather than sharing it to your followers, share it to the specific posher. You probably have to enter their closet name. OR you can stay in the seller view bundle, and if you press the icon in the top right with the three dots, you’ll see an option to “share to bundle.” This will take your to your closet, and again, when you see things you want to share to this potential buyer’s closet, you press the “share” icon, and the buyer’s name should be the first one you see in the row of poshers you can share the item to. I hope this helps!
Hi, I had someone today ask how to send the item they wanted right to their grandson. Would this be done just having the buyer change her address to her grandsons and then changing it back to her own after? Thanks!

I listed some things on poshmark at low prices because I thought that was all they were worth with the idea people would bundle them. Didn't work so well. Some people will put one inexpensive item in a bundle and expect me to make an offer. I just can't come down on the price and pay part of the shipping because, in some cases, I will be paying someone to buy an item. What is the solution to this? Only list more expensive items? I even put a message in my description of these items that any item under $20 would be sold in a bundle only and they still do it.
Hilda Collier yeah-honestly, you have to assume people just won’t read the fine print. You really have to kind of hold their hand through the whole process. And at times, along will come someone that just isn’t worth doing business with. I would say, just don’t waste too much energy or thought into that person. Keep doing what you’re doing and marketing yourself the best way you can.
Great advice and tips for making sales. I am the type to sit back and let the shopper make the offer, and that doesn’t really work for me lol, I gotta work for that sale! I have been more social on PM, sending immediate messages whenever possible, and trying to get a feel for how much their willing to spend by looking at their closet if they have one, and if they have given past love notes. So I’m doing a lot more digging then maybe necessary but I’ve been selling the oddest things that have been sitting there for months! So more work/time spent poshing = more sales…it’s finally paying off for the days that I am not working, which was my goal. Thanks again for this video😊
PET PEEVE - people who create 1 bundle! I’m not a reseller, I am only selling my personal items. Why on earth do these people create a bundle instead of just making an offer????
It’s annoying to the point that in all of my listings I created a graphic that tells people just make an offer. I do not respond to one item bundles!!!
The only thing I can think of is that they want me to make only them an offer instead of sending an offer out to everyone else ???
Maybe instead of other people, possibly snatching it up ??
I really do want to sell items and maybe this is the only logical sense that people create a bundle for one item instead of just making me a direct offer … they can still make me a direct offer that nobody else will have and we can counter and come up with a deal but why not just send me an offer first?
I feel like it’s a sneaky way for them to personally ask me how am I willing to go? Well send me an offer and you’ll find out in the counter offer
