Can you make a video on micromanaging artillery. I normaly just unlimber them and let them hit whatever, which is probably not the best

I'm no expert, but when it comes to artillery, you wanna make sure they focus on the targets you want out the most. (Either the enemy's own artillery, cavalry or even infantry)
Ensure that your artillery is next to infantry or can be protected by cav, make sure that they are also used to their highest quality. Put howizters behind units, or aside, you can also ensure that cannons can be easily maneuvered to a better position.

Playing the Europe campaign and wondering what artillery I should invest in.
I remember from Empire: TW that cannons get really powerful with shrapnel rounds, but they don't have these here.
Howitzers get AoE shells and can fire over your own ranks, but in Empire they were very inaccurate and they have less range.
What do you recommend?

Howitzers are very strong if you are attacking. They are truly OP in many contexts.
12 lbs canister is also very strong.
Horse art is good but I find it better for MP rather than Campaign.

@@thetotalwarsmasterThanks for the advice. Switched to Howitzers in the campaign and was quite pleased with them.
Also did some testing in Skirmish and cannons, even with several units concentrating fire on one infantry target, just didn't seem to do all that much damage. Lots of knockback but few actual kills.
Interestingly, when I later played the Waterloo mission, cannons were fairly devastating. It was almost like a different unit.

I dont find rockets OP, just annoying since people like to camp because of them.
