Super 73 is more polished and has that customer support and based in the US which is the justification for price I guess- which is great, especially if you don't want to tinker. I always wonder why bikes with square frames don't put their batteries in the middle square of the frame and not on top like this one does. You get a lower center of gravity, can put in a bigger battery, and free up that top area for mounts and water bottles
Your videos are always incredible bro! Your filmmaking style is so inspiring to me as a 16 year old young Filmmaker and I will be getting my RX this week!
Ok, have you ride a surron and a small motocross track. It was bad ass. This is cool too now with full suspension. Now that it has suspension you can get less wide tires like 2.6-3.0 plus size tires and save more batter and accelerate much faster.
Serious question: what is this bike for? I wouldn't dare to leave it outside while running errands, too easy to steal. So you just take it out for a fun ride and go back home?
on their site it says 1200w motor and 2000w peak ( which that peak is kinda over stated compared to real one ) and in europe it cost 4200€ which is over 5000usd. compare it with a surron 4000w motor and 6000w peak
Seems like a serious oversight to have the battery on top with so much empty space in the middle. It restricts how shorter people may attempt to mount the bike with the battery being higher than the seat. It also limits the potential accessories you could use with the bike to have the entire front tube covered by the battery. I could see if they had concerns over the battery maybe falling in rough riding if placed on the bottom of the tube or on side but bicycle battery mounts of dozens of companies have already established that that's not really a likely scenario. Also "The app isn't a priority" if this bike is over 3k and has such a limited shit display you better believe the app is a priority, I was shocked at how little information and options that display supports.

30 miles of range is what stopping Super73 from popping in the Electric Bike market, it is just too expensive for a low range e-bike. Yes I said low range because there will be always the tension of running out of juice when you're out with the bike. Maybe a little price increase with an addition of a extra battery that comes by default giving maybe and extra 20 miles or so in just throttle mode cuz lets be honest, how many people are using the eco paddle assist mode for the "75" miles range with a low speed and heck if you manage to run out of the battery then good luck paddling this heavy beasty tank of a bike.

sorry I haven't ridden one but isn't the center of gravity too high with the battery mounted at the highest point? I understand they did it to make it look good, to like where a motorcycle gas tank is
Scratching my head as to why they didn't go with a mid drive motor and a belt drive considering the price, the previous model used a mid drive model after all the logical path would be to upgrade suspension (check), improve the frame (check), and swap the chain for a belt drive to make manual maintenance virtually nonexistent. Shame, it looks super cool too.
@@mistert800 we have the same shit laws in AU, fingers up to the authorities, I put a throttle on and derestrict to 35kph on my cheap Fortis, a Fortis speed video was found and I used that info to program the parameters, not just top speed, wheel size (speedo under reading) was 20", the 20x4 tyres are actually 22", reduced the start up strength, made the PAS more sensitive 3/12 rotation

can someone pretty please tell me what helmet that is at 00:08? I need something more low key than my Shoei. Heck, what helmet are you wearing too Sam? Rad vid. Love my RX!
Here’s the truth about 73 , love you Sam! I own x2 older 73s that I paid for in full, I love the company (super cool) but they are $1000 over priced , I have a masters degree in engineering and struggle with buying a bike that’s 3500 , sam got this bike for free or for trial for an Ad, do not go in debt over this bike you guys. Please, it’s not worth the debt guilt.
Nice review... Can U mount a front or rear rack on the Super 73?
Great review! More RX footage please! Range test in throttle only in both mode 2 and Unlimited mode?
pity they didn't put the battery low in the frame instead of high up. Would have made it more stable.
Awesome and very cool super 73 RX-ebike
I wish I had a better place to ride a bike like this. I live in the mountains of NC and I could probably do some trails but if you want to go anywhere here, you are going to be getting on the highway.
On a random note... What if you're from suburbia and need to go far to get everywhere?
Could you do a review on the Jeep ebike?
What do you do with the bike when you get to your destination? I'd want to be sure nobody would steal it, but it looks too big to lock to a standard bike rack
Theo original design just looks sooooo good though.
Ever thought about reviewing the onyx RCR?
Would have liked to see the seat a bit higher, this would make pedalling easier.
Awesome review man great work !
Have you tried riding the bike just as "a bike" let's say when the batterie is charging, can you still ride it smoothly ? Go up a hill for ex ?
Because I am 64 I was wondering if the handlebars are adjustable. I think bending over to grab them would make my back sore.
This bike looks epic great review and vid
What are the rules with personal electric vehicles in the US? there is a new trend of personal electric scooters in the UK and the police are seizing them due to no insurance and no driving license etc
nice seeing u yesterday at sticky rice!!!
Solid review.
