Plus as most cyclists spend 90% of their cycling under 25kph meaning if the cyclist stacks his bike it just prevents scratches. I've been following this bike for some time now. They have four different models now and this is their least expensive. Some reviews on RUclips are very critical of the bike chain constantly coming off, and some bad customer service. But overall it is very reliable and well made. Being in control of that many components on your bike build, before it even gets to you, is very convenient and they do honor warranties very well from what I've seen. Currently looking at the Ristretto bikes...works of art too!
I chose against mid drive because it does wear out the chain faster--750 watts is equal to a pro biker like lance armstrong--so being able to put that power down daily has an effect and in races they changed chains like every 500 miles--and a motor can put out the max output anytime you get on it.
@@khronin Has any racer tried belts on a mid-drive? Maybe belts could last longer, but until me or someone tries it i won't know real world effects of trying it.
WRONG. This is not their least expensive. This is their most expensive model at $4000. I know it says 2500 in the title, but i just checked the customization page and the stuff that are in the video are not for free, you have to pay extra on alot of the modules that would result in the crazy performance of this ebike. The 2500 is too good to be true. Most likely this guy is unknowingly shilling because the china manufacture told him it was for 2500, so he just assume this bike is for 2500. And now people be dupe into thinking they getting the fast speedy bike, with all those extra such as colored panels. The 2500 doesnt include any of those extra. Its the very barebone, slower vewrsio
I'm wondering what grouping they gave you?? You mentioned Pearl paint. I added the improvements I think they sent you and it added $500 more to the price. So $3000. I wonder how heavy a person the bike can handle?????
I second this, I have a different ebike and I'm looking to upgrade but the fact it doesn't wheelie and max output seems to be 1000w I'm a little doubtful on the top speeds and power it says it has.
I'm old. I used to ride a sachs moped in the early 80's to do my paper routes. (i had several). The sachs would max out at 30 mph. After all that was over. I moved back home to the UK and started riding actual motorcycles. I''m back in the states again for certain reasons and I'm very interested in e bikes.

No carbon seat, no carbon handlebars, half the wattage motor, half the output battery, cheaper hub, on and on...). In the mean time I want to get 1 or 2 more ebikes to take them on the local trails when friends come over. All 3 friends I have gone out with have loved them. The Crosscurrent X is too slow to compare to this Nireeka. The Hyperscorpion is slower but has more features for the same price. So a tradeoff. At least if you want to go over 30mph without a motorcycle license or insurance.

@@ianmangham4570 They didn't really *suppress* either, at least not for most of that time, and not at all for E-bikes. E-cars did well early on in cities when you bought petrol at the *pharmacist's* (cars ran on white gas, what we'd know as Colman fuel now). However, gas became easier to get than reliable electricity and lead-acid batteries are terrible for EVs. Hence the gas car (and even the steam car) overtook the electric car. E-bikes have been around since the late 90s. But Lead Batteries are heavy, which hurts bikes even more. They've only *really* become practical with lithium ion, and they're still painfully slow and expensive compared to the gasbike counterparts. my TSDZ2 cost me $360, and makes 768 watts. A Zeda 100 makes 2,250, and you can make even more with a performance package with the whole thing under 300. Not counting the battery I needed to buy (10A@48v, the same as this bikes smaller size, that was an extra $180) The only thing an E-Bike really does let you do unarguably better is break traffic laws, because you're quiet and not drawing attention to yourself.

That model looks closer to 3.5k but still seems like a decent value for all you get with that bike. I will put it on my short list of next bikes when I'm ready to go to a mid drive carbon fiber bike.
Most e-bikes have there MPH limited so the manufacturers can sell to buyers who then can operate within the numerous state laws regarding requirements to operate bikes on the road. If an e-bike, or motorcycle, can travel over 20 (or 25 mph depending on the state) the bike would no longer be deemed recreational and would then require a "motorcycle" or operators license, special testing to obtain the license, it would also require headlights, brake lights, turn signals and require other safety testing or measures to be deemed safe to operate on the streets, it would require registration, a license plate and bi-annual inspections....etc. So that is the reason most manufacturers keep the speed 25 mph and under. (maybe I stated the obvious)
Put a 50amp hour battery in that widening the body and adding like 30-40 lbs to the weight should get you 60 miles at 30-35 mph. Then I would be interested.

Well, for close to $4000 it's certainly _better_ be a nice ride, though to be fair the 2500 version doesn't look too bad either. Seems like you'd be getting a pretty premium bike either way, certainly a cooler looking bike than the Ariel (unless you're into that style of Ebike,) much more modern sport bike style. Lower end is probably about the same speed as the cafe racer which also looked "retro cool," but I can see how the handle bar thing would get on a taller person's nerves. it'd be interesting to see just how much the lower end version compromises, but I doubt they're going to send you a second despite the glowing review.

I like that this is light for power and size and a good half way between dirt bike and street bike. It would make it up a steep paved hill I know and then tackle a mile of dirt road. Plus as most cyclists spend 90% of their cycling under 25kph meaning if the cyclist stacks his bike it just prevents scratches. While it give false sense of security because it will make bugger all difference if the bicyclist is bowled over by a motorised vehicle.

You ain't seen nothing yet, the oil companies suppressed ebikes and cars for over a century, we got alot of catching up to do. If they can find away to mass produce carbon nano tube then the power to weight ratio will be seriously AWESOME 😎💪🇬🇧👍
Not counting the battery I needed to buy (10A@48v, the same as this bikes smaller size, that was an extra $180)

How about a CVT transmission? That would take that bad boy up to the next level aye?

@@cTron417 also 100% not legal on bike paths, streets, or anywhere else.
Isn't it a low gear that you want if you're trying to wheelie? I think you're getting high and low mixed up.
That's a super cool bike! I probably won't need a motorcycle if I have one of those. Thanks for sharing it.
Yeah, Cause it IS a motorcycle! 😂
you said if the battery dies you don't make it home... do the pedals not work?
Awesome bike, awesome video. Btw, I think the top speed you put in settings of 60 is in km…that would equate to 37-38mph you achieved.
You said you have the large frame and are 6'3". I am 6' 1/2" and am sort of in between the 2 frames. I probably prefer to have the seat on the lower side, but I still feel unsure of which frame makes more sense. I wear 33" inseam pants. Suggestion?
Not sure! I mean I like the large frame, but yeah it was big! Don't know which I'd prefer if I was any shorter. 🤷🏽♀️
Amazing bike. Wish the tires weren't so big but I understand it. Totally on my wish list. Great review! Hahaha the lawnmower at the end.
Definitely nice specs for the price. But you can build your own for half the price, minus the carbon fiber 😅. My diy bbs02 goes 35 on a good day and it gets the same range, sometimes better
Can you send the specs for your bike? I’m looking to build something similar for hunting
Zero chance I'd ever pay 3500+ for a hardtail with a factory inefficient sqaurewave controller.
Having the heaviest mid drive of all time running stock controller on such a light frame.... kinda a dildo move.
The M600 with a VESC or Innotrace Sinusoidal controller would be tits.u
But that's expensive af. Just gimme a CYC 5kw mid and maybe 60v
Not everyone wants to build their own bike, hence pre-built bikes such as this bike are very popular. 😊
So it would be helpful to know how much it weighed, and if you hear any of that pinging sound that carbon fiber wheels make.
nice e bike but i went on the site fully specked $4124 🤣🤔 and trust me you want it like that mite aswell get a old fossil fuel motorbike even if its a 300cc or sumtyn lol
True dat!
I have riden and have a few ebikes, I bought the homie on indigogo pre-order, when I 1st got it I was highly disappointed as it arrived with the motor rattling and rear rim making noise, the thin carbon fiber frame snapped rite at the bottom of the seat frame, due to poor design. Customer service, I give a D+, Nireeka sent me a new motor and wheel with stronger spokes, but there was no reference material to assemble the bike, so I had a local bike shop assemble it($200)after they sent me a new frame, but nireeka reimbursed me. After I got it back from the bike shop she rode like a dream, on the forum people complained about carbon fiber parts snapping as well as the chains on the mid drive versions, I would not get another nireeka I give it a bout c-
@ $4,295 might as well buy a motorcycle lol
Totally agree!
Totally agree. I have a motorbike and a push bike and now I want a eBike. Irr...too many toys! However I live to explore and play with toys.
I like that this is light for power and size and a good half way between dirt bike and street bike. It would make it up a steep paved hill I know and then tackle a mile of dirt road. It looks small for a large bike. How tall are you? It is longer in geometry making it more of a street bike that won't pop wheelies. The handle bars look skimpy.
Great video and really informative, thanks. You should use your helmet as even the most experienced riders can crash! #voiceofexperience
What type of brakes does the ebike come with? Can the brakes be upgraded? Are there any other upgrades available? Are there complete package upgrades available? For instance a sport package, black out package or Euro on road/off road style motorcycle package could be offered as upgrades.

This vs Super73 ?
Build your dream also the cafe racer is way to expensive for what it is
ouch
he means the cafe racer ebike i guess
It's expensive, but most of them are (to be honest, I think they're charging that much for the esthetics more than anything, like they thought they could get a way with it because there wasn't any competition for that style. with is fine if you just want that look and have the cash for it.)
@@Blox117 yeah the one from green power bikes
Like freak me out man It's freaking incredible and it's just freaking amazing and I'm just so freaked out that you freaking made this freaking video
