Lancaster and Douglas made a bunch of movies together, and were absolute magic, every time.

I actually watched the filming of many of the outdoor scenes of this film in Tring Park, Hertfordshire. I was 12 years old and had just broken my arm playing football. Burt Lancaster actually signed my plaster cast. I also obtained the autograph of Kirk Douglas the same day during a break in filming.

Today in 2023 a similar Fate is happening, and we'll have to make a fourth Revolutionary War and Revolt... that's why we need more characters like Kirk Douglas to tell us to wake up!
