Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security.
"He fought in the redoubt until out of ammunition and remained until the British made their third and final assault on the hill to give time for the militia to escape. He was killed instantly by a musket or pistol ball in the head by a British officer (possibly Lieutenant Lord Rawdon) who recognized him, or by an officer's servant. This account is supported by a 2011 forensic analysis. His body was stripped of clothing and he was bayoneted until unrecognizable, and then shoved into a shallow ditch.
The quote in the scene from the video clip from "Lord Chatham" is by William Pitt, the elder, 1st Earl of Chatham. Pitt was in the British cabinet and leader of the House of Commons during most of the Seven Years' War (French & Indian War) and afterwards Prime Minister. He is in my view one of the greatest cabinet ministers in the history of the Great Britain. If he, or those like him -- and not the likes of Frederick, Lord North and Chas. Townshend, had still been running the government, there never would have been the bloody War for American Independence. The whole point of the struggle in the beginning was not independence but rather to reassert "the Rights of Englishmen" as embodied by documents like Magna Carta, the Provisions of Oxford, and the Bill of Rights of 1689. Those in the British government had trampled those rights. Since the time of the founding of Jamestown in 1607 -- and for generations thereafter, the proudest boast an American colonist could make was to say that he enjoyed the "rights of Englishmen." By the way, by the time of the Boston Tea Party and the later bloodshed on Lexington Green and Concord Bridge, Pitt was just a "back bencher" out of government, but his prophetic words should have been heeded as to how free men would react when their rights are trampled upon. For my money, William Pitt, 1st Earl of Chatham, was beloved and a true friend in the British Parliament of the American people. In the history of the founding of the United States, he stands a-tiptoe with the patriots who stood at Lexington or Concord or Bunker Hill, or who signed the Declaration of Independence. Every town, city, or village with "Pitt" in its name is a living monument to his memory. May he long be remembered and honored wherever free men shall dwell.

@2wingo You point is well made. However, a lot of Americans call their country Christian, yet do not see that their opposition to affordable health care hardly can be called Christian.
@Radioflyer911 The Healthcare bill is supposed to provide American citizens with affordable medical healthcare. It is amazing that in a country that calls itself Christian such a bill would be opposed.
No one is opposed to affordable healthcare they are opposed to the government getting involved in people's personal matters.
