Is it possible to show us to mount a genuine piaggio 52 liter keyless topcase?
I bought a cheap Chinese top case called EMGO. I was tired of Kawasaki's soft luggage that doesn't allow you to secure and lock up the contents of the case. I think I paid around $60 for it and it included the mounting hardware. It's no where near as large or as nice as this one, but it's served me well for hauling groceries on a motorcycle. I think it's only 30 liters in size. I never take it off and I always leave it on the motorcycle. Nothing has ever broken on the case or mounting hardware. I hate drilling holes on my vehicles so I fabricated a metal rack to attach to the existing holes on the motorcycle, and i used the rack to attach the top case.

Any idea how to take off that aluminum cover on the top so it can get painted to match?
I should be picking up my BV400 on Friday. I will probably order the OE heated grips, heated saddle, control module, and install kit. Those parts will be around $900 + labor. A few side views would of been nice.

I am looking to purchase the Piaggio 36L topcase colourmatched orange. Is it possible to show how easy/hard this is to configure the topcase on the bv400?(in comparison to this Shad case that you’ve shown)

I guess it would be possible to fit the plate which comes with the top box, directly to scooters rack, without spending money on that mounting plate, and adding more weight to the scooter.

Hey Robot, I just purchased a 2023 Piaggio BV400 S and want to put a top case on. I am interested in the Shad SH 29. Do I need to also purchase a mounting plate as well as a rack?
