Try this instead:
This worked for my write protected bootable pendrive with linux mint OS. This method worked for me. Hope it works for you also.
Connect the USB drive to your computer
Open Command Prompt as an administrator.
Type "diskpart" and press Enter.
Type "list disk" and press Enter. This will display a list of all disks connected to your computer.
Identify the disk number of your USB drive from the list.
Type "select disk X" (replace X with the disk number of your USB drive) and press Enter.
Type "attributes disk clear readonly" and press Enter. This will clear the write protection from the USB drive.
Type "clean" and press Enter. This will delete all data on the drive.
Type "create partition primary" and press Enter.
Type "format fs=ntfs quick" and press Enter. This will format the drive with the NTFS file system.
These command lines indeed work to resolve read-only issues on storage devices. Thanks for sharing this for everyone here.

What does the full format checkbox do
Zeroes out the whole drive. Takes a long time to complete.
Is there a version of the app for Mac?
No, there is the Windows version only.
My Write Protection in the toolkit is blank. It doesn't give me the option to select any drives.

set it to 0, not 1, 1 locks it
Tried all but nothing worked..however- shouldnt regedit to be set to 0 for removing write protection?

When i want to format with your software, i'm asked to buy the software, otherwise it doesn't work. But what if i buy the software and doesn't solve my problem? My microSD card is write protected, and none of the solution you provided, doesn't work. I also tried other softwares too... They are all the same, in the trial don't do anything. You dont format with ease US - I press apply and give me 51 error code - on a write protected USB 3.0 --you know what is 51 error code on easeUS?

Go to Disk Management and uninstall your disk
why uninstall the disk
