Write Protected is a very common problem among SD Cards and USB drives. but its also a very annoying. if your SD card or USB flash is write protected, you can not copy paste, delete, edit or format your USB device. and in this video, i have covered 7 Different ways to Remove Write Protected from SD card.

I've tried all 7 methods and none of them solved my problem. After all I solve my problem using method #8. Method 8: Purchase a new USB flash drive and get a sledgehammer and beat the crap out of the old one. Quite satisfying after all.
you use the third one it works for every sd card .i too was worried but this 3 method help me out

It simply means your SD card is damaged.... However your computer is still able to read what's inside it....I had an SD card which was completely damage to such a point where none of any device was able to even read it...It kept on saying disk corrupted...

There is only one way of solving this problem which is, when inserting the adaptor to the pot of the system, push it to the direction that has cut on the adaptor(push it to the lift side of the adaptor pot) as u finally insert it. That's all

The third method worked for me, thank you. Didn’t know that SD cards had write protection switch, I thought that was to lock the micro-SD card from falling out.

The 2nd method worked!! Thanks so much. But when I went to fix another flash drive I wasn't sure how to proceed? Do I create a new Key named WriteProtect? I tried that. It didn't work. Should I delete the old Key first??
@6:10 the value should be 0 not 1. I changed it to 0 and it fixed the issue. If you think about it, it’s a bit, so by setting it to 1, you are write protecting it.

The 4th step worked for me, i opened the app did the same as him but checked the box with quick format than hit the format button after it was done i went to the disk managment formated the usb to fat 32 and than clicked on changed the drive letter and paths then clicked on add: and then hit okay and apply and the usb is working again for me

I think you need to take the USB to the PC/laptop where the write protected was done automatically or manually and then you can try those steps.
Omg I did all the steps and when you got to the samsung SD adapter part. I was like omg I got the same one ! And then you showed that switch on and off and I was like *face palm* 😭 I shouldve watch the video through first lol haha

No matter I try it still not removing the write protect
First method worked perfectly fine, although it was a micro sd, but somehow it was stuck with that attribute even if it doesn't have a physical button unlike the normal SD.
I think the micro sd card got screwed by those adapters and even if i used the adapter with the button switched off, the protection wouldn't go away. That first method worked perfectly! Thanks!

I've tried other you tube videos on how to fix write protect they all explained it the same procedure which is not as complete as you've d explained it. Sometimes small details are important just like the one you showed to type exit after setting up cmd which is very important because it worked for me. Thank you so much for explaining it properly. From your phone go to
"my files" -> "download" (the folder with the write protected stuff, normally 'download' folder) -> "settings" -> click/tick "show hidden files" -> then the hidden files / write protected files will appear and can start delete the files.. I've experience this issues as well, but now the issues solved 👍

None of your fixes worked for me I have a write protected sd card and I went to the folder with the files I wanted to delete and right clicked went to properties and in the general tab went down to read only and clicked on the box for read only to unselect it and hit apply it then came up with a box that said disk is write protected and I clicked on ignore seems to be working. Hope this helps.
