He's definitely more dangerous, more obsessed, more paranoid, but not smarter than or as trained as Prime Earth Batman. He's definitely more effective and his origin and war on crime is makes more sense but with him being defeated by Gordon at the end with the FBI bummed me out. Despite him not having the same knowledge or skill level as Prime Earth Batman, this version of him 'trained with the best assassins and soldiers of fortune money could buy' so he should of wrecked Gordon in that scene. Plus, it make kind of opens your eyes to how pathetic their moral code and sense of justice is - it's like putting a naive child in charge of punishing criminals. They need to be wiped out!
@@SajedShadi no he is trained the thing is he rely on guns because unlike batman he doesn’t have a moral code he doesn’t fight to knock people out he fights to end them kill them so he uses gun to end his enemies
@@RealZeal96 Probably the opposite I'm guessing all the Robin's would've been Murders but Jason would've been the most peaceful but the fact that he was peaceful enough got him killed and he came back to life and has the same morals as normal Batman. Or became so peaceful that he actually doesn't actually fight crime and helps the world in other ways like helping the environment That's my theory on what he'd be like since this Batman is a polar opposite is like the normal Batman I think it would make sense for this Red Hood to a polar opposite with the normal Red Hood.
If Batman in this universe learned from every assassin then he learned from Deathstroke. There needs to be a comic series about that. Like have Deathstroke become an enemy of Grim knight later on.
He makes Flashpoint Thomas Wayne and Red Hood look tame. At least they don't casually target innocents, people who criticise them and have an entire city under mass surveillance. I always imagine him having Kevin Conroy's voice (may he RIP), but more gruff like old Bruce in Batman Beyond or Karl Urban's Judge Dredd voice.
I think that there's still a lot of unknowns when it comes to The Grim Knight as from the information we do have about him doesn't answer certain things about him, such as why he'd side with The Batman Who Laughs and be willing to kill innocent people in order to get back at Jim Gordon.
I assume sort of because Gordon had said in the comic the grim knight by character standards isn't batman because by Jim's own statement the grim knight has lost his faith in Gotham something that our main batman has still and he's probably ok with working the BWL's because in his origin story he murdered supposedly good cops and that's not a leap to far for him to start hurting innocence to get what he wants
Benny you skipped almost everything in the Grim Knight comic....like how Gordon puts Batman's identity together and how he goes above the mayors head and gets the federal government involved..
It's maybe sound weird, but Grim Knight seems more discent than Batman. He didn't involve children in his crusade, he didn't put innocents on the line. Yeah, he's killer and terrorist, but maybe he is exactly a hero whom Gotham both needs and deserves. In his world Dick Grayson had never lose his family because Bruce killed Tony Zucco, dr. Harleen Quinsel had never become a psycho because Bruce killed Red Hood would be a joker plus he would shot Barbara Gordon spine. So maybe Grim Knight is exactly the hero the world needs?
I mean yea but he also murdered good cops and probably some petty criminals who needed to feed their family like Jason Todd's dad who was a good man but would probably be dead if the grim knight had anything to say about it though yes his dad still did die by the penguins hands but if G.K. does it then that's just one more child who will probably grow up to one day try to get his revenge for what he did which will inevitably lead to more innocence dying still
Let the Rant Begin! As cool as this Batman is, I really don't like the idea of him being looked at as a Batman-Punisher hybrid and the reason is very simple: This Batman does things that Frank Castle, The Punisher would Never do or condone. Frank Castle goes out of his way to avoid civilian casualties, doesn't fight the police beyond what's necessary to escape, and he doesn't try to kill heroes who disagree with his methods. The Grim Knight doesn't have this same moral code. He will kill anyone who gets in his way and has no problem with using civilians for leverage. To say that this guy is what we would get if we combined The Punisher and Batman is an insult to Frank Castle. If Frank Castle met this guy and knew of his methods, he would try to kill him on sight... he would probably fail, given he'd be at a massive disadvantage, but you get the idea.
You think that there would be a universe where Thomas Wayne gets security guards especially when they are going through an alley called CRIME ALLEY Especially when that alley is well known as Crime Alley SERIOUSLY?!?
Quick questions, 1 why would a punisher like Batman work with a joker Batman? Wouldn’t that be like two magnets pushing each other away. 2 I would love to see a battle between the Batman who Laughs vs Konrad Curze from Warhammer 40k? Wouldn’t you?
Hey Benny, really enjoyed your read out! Could you do a Nightwing #50 to #60 (2018-2019) ? Story covers Nightwing's amnesia after getting shot in the head (i know it's a cringefest but would like to hear you read it out)

That's incredibly scary. Batman and punisher as one. He'd be a powerhouse no doubt
He's not as smart or as trained as the real batman ...he seems to relay on his guns alot more

In my opinion Scott Snyder is one of the best comic book writers and I enjoy his batman comics
I agree there all the best comic book writers in DC comics
Compared to Tom king any Batman writer is good but Scott is a blessing 👌👌🔥🔥🔥
That’s not opinion that just fact
Batman Grimm Knight is the perfect combination since the Punisher lost his kids and Batman his parents
I like this, this shows what Batman means when he says he can’t kill. It’s a slippery path for him and the true self control he has
That's his own problems, nothing hard putting a bullet to a head to criminals
Rest well, Ben. You've earned it.
Jason Todd would be proud
I wonder what that universe's Jason Todd is like
Jorge Rubalcaba probably opposite
@@RealZeal96 a hippie

Batman: I don’t kill
Punisher: *hands him a gun*
Pradi is loki more like, Batman: I don’t kill. Grim Knight: hold my Gun.
This is Jason Todd's actual father
Jason todd where you been all my life

In this universe Jason is the one that doesn't kill my head canon

I didn’t realize how skinny The Batman Who Laughs was until now seeing how skinny they are compared to the Grim Knight
Skinny, but has muscles.
His body is probaby a combination of Joker's and Batman's
why not?
Why do I see this version of Batman leading The Suicide Squad?
What's interesting is the Grim Night is pretty much original Batman who was always killing people.
Now THIS is the Batman movie Zack could have made awesome! Psycho Punished Bat!
Could you do batman the last knight please?🙏

Love the grim knight. Snyder is a fantastic writer.
This version of Batman is my most favorite one it's like a fusion of the Batman and The Punisher I love it
This is essentially Batman just recruiting The Punisher to f*** s*** up.
Benny please give us more Punisher stories I miss his comics
It’s Year One with guns... AKA how Frank Miller would write it now.
Nah, even Miller wouldn't do this to Batman. ASBAR is exactly how Frank Miller would write Batman (you know, cuz he *did* write it)
This is the Batman: Year One version that turned into the Punisher.

You think that there would be a universe where Thomas Wayne gets security guards especially when they are going through an alley called CRIME ALLEY Especially when that alley is well known as Crime Alley SERIOUSLY?!?
Crime Alley got it's name because they were killed there
Before that it was just called Park Row
I am vengeance
I am the night
I am Batman
The Grim Knight
oh sh!t what a way to go to kill of Batman Year one and plus technically Batman is the original Punisher since his day view

Isn't this Batman a little bit strange? Other Darkest Knights's Earth crumbled and dissapeared but Darkest Knight's wasn't (at least not shown.
So the grim night is pretty much like DawnBreaker but without the green lantern ring.
And some degree of mercy (Sparing his Gordon VS Dawnbreaker vaporizing his)
