Hi Hannah, thanks for the video, it's very helpful to watch how someone else performs a burn test. I'm new to candle making and doing tests every 3 hours, do you think it should be every 4 hours after other comments? X X

I wouldn't have blown out your CL6! did you continue to test? It might have caught up. What were your final results for this, i'm currently testing EO blends so would love to know. Thanks so much!

Great video. I’m just wondering what the container temperature will be in the 4th - 5th burn. Personally I would like to have a FMP in the second burn to have lower temps. Did you have any issue going over ~60 deg for these candles? Would really like to see a follow up after you burn the entire candle. Thanks so much for sharing your experience. 🙂

Thank you! How long do you typically burn your candles? No, I haven't had any trouble going over 60, but I'm still going to experiment with a larger and small wick to compare the results 😊 I can absolutely do a follow-up video - great idea!

@@thecandlejourney2500 Thanks so much for your reply. Well I am burning until candle fails or it completely burns. I am doing 4h burns, taking measurements every 2h.

@@danielzaremba2677 Ah so 4 hour burns each time until the candle is burnt completely? That's the way to go 😊 I would say though if your candle is getting too hot, then your wick is most probably too big or you're burning your candle for too long.

Have you tested C6 wax in this jars? I struggle to find the perfect wick with C6 and amber jars.

Hiya hun, im so glad to find someone who is using the same wax!! 😅 I'm new to candle making also and find before I burn I have lovely smooth tops, but after first test burn once the wax has cooled back down again it looks unsightly. Is this normal? I know soy wax does this but I'm unsure with rcx? Any info much appreciated 🙏 Xx

Hello! Ah, I'm pleased you found me 😊 I found this happened at the start when I started using it but it usually happened after a long burn (4+ hours). How long do you typically burn your candles for? I now go for a 3-hour burn (it totally depends on the size of your jar) and my wax has been ok since 🤞x

@@thecandlejourney2500 thank you ever so much. I've burned for two hours today and they are alot better 😁. In addition, can I ask what temp you heat too, add fragrance and pour at please? I've been heating to 65 and pouring low at 40-45ish? This could be the problem too I guess 🤔 X

@@lexi_22xo Your temperatures sound very similar to mine but you can check out my 'how I make natural wax candles' video as I show you a step by step process video there 😊 I'll also do an updated one soon too! I don't think pouring at 40 is too low though.. it's what works for me! x

Hi there I need help with the percentage to pour my question is
When pouring 8% is that 10 drops like how do you know how much to pour by %
    I hope I'm making sense

I might be wrong but I think say for 150ml jar you would work out percentage so 150x8%=12 so you would need 12 grams and you would need 15 grams for 10%
