15 songs at this concert. Not one bum note. Floor is amazing. And Tuomas, keyboards, writes almost everything and his lyrics are superb.

Bit of trivia: Floor has been windmilling for over two decades and probably has steel cords running through her neck. Also, that type of movement actually relaxes a singer's larynx. 😀🤘
#LOTD for me is, "oooooooooooooOOOOOOOOOOOooooooh!!!!" With Floor and Marko going up, Marko topping out incredibly high but Floor going on up to "dog whistle", and she then comes back down and meets back up with Marko on the way back down. ;^P
Marko…the bass player…sings quite a bit with the band, as you’ll discover. He even sings lead on a few songs, including, you may be surprised to hear, two of their softer, gentler songs (see “While Your Lips Are Still Red” live at Wembley, and “The Islander” live at Tampere). Not many people can say they’ve had Floor as their backup singer!
It sucks though that Marko left the band 😯, I saw their latest performance which is very good btw. You can find their new live songs also on RUclips.
Especially the song Shoemaker, Floor sings this live and omg, exactly the same as on the album!!

As Floor is Dutch she isn't headbanging but windmilling🤘. To prevent her hurting her neck a physiotherapist learned her lean her hands on her legs while doing those windmills and she says she is never hurting or dizzy!

And as for the drumming.... in 2014 our lovely Jukka, the drummer in this video, sadly had to step back from NW due to severe insomnia. He asked his good friend Kai Hahto, then the drummer of the Finnish band Wintersun, to replace him. Kai is also a very kind person but above all also a phenomenal drummer. We call him The Human Metronome or The Beast. To see him at work, merrily banging away on his drumkit🤣🤣🤣 please check out Wintersun "Sons of Winter and Stars". I think you won't be disappointed😂
Now you know why Floor is so loved by the Nightwish Army.

She knew Marko before 2009 when she was with her old band Revamp. He performed with Floor and her band in my home city in 2009. The windmills Floor does we call Dutch windmills...
thank god we live the era where is metallica and nightwish. life is good :) when tuomas ( keyboard,boss man) was young,he dont like heavy music. everything change when he go kansas usa student exchance some family and they take him looking guns and roses and metallica together concert. tuomas was 16 years old.

82,000 in attendance at 2013 Wacken open air. Vast majority had never seen Floor perform live before. They were used to Tarja and latter Annette. Floor was technically just filling in for Annette who got sick 10 months earlier. Floor wasn't offered a permanent gig until at after Wacken and the end of the "Imaginarium" tour. You are watching the last concert of that world wide tour that lasted over a year. These songs were written with the other vocalists in mind. The 2015 "Endless Forms Most Beautiful" tour was Nightwish's 6th world tour, and the first full tour featuring Floor, with Tuomas masterpieces written with Floor in mind. The two 2015 live shows with the best new "Endless Forms" songs are Wembley (London) December 2015 and Tampere, Finland July 2015. I think the Tampere performance beats the Wembley show by a hair. Maybe it is because it is NW home turf. You will love both though.

Marko ís one of the best vocalist and is perfect with Floor or on his own. You should checkout The 4 Finn's (male members) in the Pink Floyd Tribute. Metallica is a big influence for Nightwish. Floor's first show with Nightwish was in October of 2012. This show was towards the end of the tour. you just got a taste of the metal side of Nightwish. Marko is the bassist and he sings on many songs. Romanticide, the death or killing of romance. Love both of your lyrical commentary. Be well my friends. Peace.

#LOTD The song title itself. "Romanticide"! Someone is killing the romance and in the lyrics they blame each other of doing it (just like in "reel" life, isn't it). To even come up with this link to e.g. Suicide, Homicide, Isecticide etc. was a very smart way to let you know just by the title, what the song is about.

Favourite lyric "OD of lies is killing me, Leave me be, Romanticide, Till love do me part" Note it is OD not Ode as some lyric sites have. OD as in overdose. The way I see the song is the first part is the row after the man comes home hours late and his dinner is stone cold in the oven. The second part is the row escalating until he gets screamed out of the house to end the relationship.

Floor had just got with the bang before this concert she had 48 hours to learn the songs, before this concert, which we all see she killed, and was Officially signed with the band on October 2013, This Concert was August of 2013... She is still the lead singer with the Band to the present time...

Simple meaning, but I love the imagery.
Jesus turned water into wine, which was a miracle, but also turning something mundane into something flavorful and intoxicating, and used for celebration. But in this case something wonderful and intoxicating has become mundane, and what seemed like a miracle became just a nothing burger again.
Campfires are kind of magical, and keep you warm in the cold. It’s also something people sit around and become closer friends, tell stories, have a good time. As a Colorado grown kid I’ve experienced the campfire freezing out with no wood left. Everyone goes to their tents and sleeping bags. The warmth, light, human interaction, liveliness is done. (On a side note, Tuomas seems to have a deep connection with campfires. The concept of Nightwish came to him sitting around a fire by a shoreline in Finland. When you see fires or shores in his lyrics keep that in mind. “A writer by a fire imagined all of Gaia”)
Love letters burned. The excited romantic fascination between them is not just done, but burned in effigy. Really done.
Lord, let me be wrong in this pain. Possibly saying let this all be a bad dream, or just my imagination that we’re over. Maybe I’m overthinking it, and that’s why my heart hurts.
One final note. Whoever did the lyrics on the videos was probably someone hired by the label, and they got a few wrong. Like the bridge in Ghost Love Score actually says “First of them true loves” not “lovers.” And “Sitting on the shoulders of an Angel” not “singing on the shoulder.”
In Romanticide “Ode of lies” didn’t make sense to me, and if that was correct she pronounced it wrong. But I found the correct lyrics online, and it’s “OD of lies” as in overdose.

@@Enderu666 Actually the official Nuclear Blast Records video of Ghost Love Score has the incorrect lyrics. That’s why I’m presuming the label said “Hey, Denise, throw the lyrics on this one before you take your lunch break.”

ha well you certainly will have a great journey and enjoyment. A couple things you've probably already been told but this was the last tour for Jukka (drummer) for health reasons but he's still active with the band though and Marko left this year saying he wanted to re-evaluate things but I'm hoping he comes back. And not to fear, if you want to see if Jukka's replacement (his friend Kia from Wintersun) is up to the task and also hear more of Marko's devilish voice again, not to mention Floor's best ever killer outfit, try "Devil and the deep dark ocean-live Buenos Aires" you won't be disappointed!!!! LOL

Great reaction guys, you have a new sub. Another Finnish band I recommend is Wintersun, half of the band are now presently 2/5th's of Nightwish on tour this year. Kai Hahto took over from Jukka Nevalainen after his illness and Jukka Koskinen who is standing in for Marko Hietela who has left for personal reasons. The power, passion and complexity from this band is musical sorcery, you don't hear this type of stuff every day, it's not ORDINARY metal please give it a try, it's a masterpiece, a wee bit long but you wont think so by the end.. Metallica is definitely an influence, Emppu even tosses in a quick Enter Sandman riff on one of their songs from this show (forgetting which one). Nightwish is like if someone combined Hans Zimmer (Batman Begins, Pirates of the Caribbean movie soundtracks) and Metallica and other metal influences.
