You've convinced me to swap to semi-hydro for as many of my plants will like it. I struggle with chronic pain and plant care can get on top of me quickly lately
Such a cool idea and I’d love a part 2! Can you also do something like this for full sun plants? I have multiple south facing windows with no plants since everything dries and dies over there
So many house plants prefer bright indirect light. But full sun? Most succulents, including Jade plants. Croton. Herbs. Prayer plant. Snake plants can tolerate low light, but they thrive in sun. Those are some that I have. 😊
Wonderful & informative video! I didn’t realize that some of these needed low light & very little water. Now I know! Please please make us a Part 2… and it would be so great if you’d make another Top 5 video of Pet Safe, Full Sun, & Indirect Light!!
I would like to add jade plants (also known as money plants) and spider plants to this. Young spider plants grow quicker in some sun but once they're established you can put them anywhere and they don't need frequent watering, I like to put mine high on to of cupboards, shelves etc because they dangle 😅 They also flower and produce new plants quickly and often, which you can leave on the runners until you're ready to move them to pots. Jade plants are nigh invincible and can survive a long time without water and can also grow happily anywhere. They are also very easy to propagate, you can quite literally grow an entirely new plant from a single leaf, or a stem cutting, just by placing it in soil. Or just even in water.
With Sansevieria Moonshine it's supposed have a nice silver tint. If it doesn't get enough light it turns to green like in the video and they won't go back to silver.
Philodendron is a good one (the basic ones) they don't need a ton of light as they are a vining plant and they like to crawl around Varagated varieties are more difficult since they have white pink or yellow spots/sections on the leaves they are less efficient when photosyntheizing since only the green parts are able to photosynthesize meaning they need more light. water wise it's the same as other Philodendrons water when the soil is dry or use a self watering pot that has a wick to draw up water
Avocado plants are also very good to keep as the leaves will droop very suddenly which reminds you to water your avocado plant Ps: they loveee water. They may need to be watered every couple/few days depending on the environment
Part 2 please. I have the moonshine (can confirm the easy care) and bought the cutlass three days ago. And just today I got a no ID Philo from a hardware store (it just said "green mix"), which I suspect is either Dean Mcdowell or gloriosum. Will wait and see when it grows up (if it survives). I really like your shorts, they are funny and to the point.
Most sansevierias thrive when in direct sunlight (a few hours daily). I have them in east and south windows (and only one out of over 85 varieties suffered a sun burn - S. 'Blue Kew' ) and much closer than the recommended 50cm distance from a grow light (I have Mother PlantSpectrum 32). The offset and next generations will adapt to the conditions and will do OK. In terms of watering, one should water them as other plants, but they need to fully dry between waterings and be in a well draining substrate. I gradually moved mine to pon (I started end August last year), and most of them are in self-watering pots now. 💚💚💚💚💚
A good rule is... the darker the leaves...the less light it needs. The lighter the leaves (less chlorophyll), the more light it needs.
Ooo, thanks!

Plz put names of the plant in the discription
Yes please! The description covers up the plant names

I agree, the UI on the screen is covering up the names because she put them too low in her video.
You've convinced me to swap to semi-hydro for as many of my plants will like it. I struggle with chronic pain and plant care can get on top of me quickly lately

My goal is to have my living space like yours!

Yes please you answered one of my questions
Stunning 💚💚💚
👌Wonderful suggestions!
Yes please! 🙏🏼🌎💖🇺🇸. 😸
My cat would LOVE to explore that room but the plants probably wouldn't be too happy about it
I need this!!!!!!😊
Yes please, I have a bathroom with no window but will love a bunch of plants in it just to make it feel less lifeless
Hey, just fyi, in a bathroom with absolutely no natural light you'll need a grow light. Plants can grow in shade, but they can't grow in darkness
Can you give us a list like this but for people who have inside animal pets(cats/dogs) that might eat leaves
Part 2...yes please 🌱
Ничего не понял, но очень красиво 😊
This Philodendron is beautiful! Do you also keep it in semi-hydro? Thanks!

The Philodendron, is it safe for bedrooms?
Part 2 Please
Please, cat safe plants in this category, too. All of my plants ended up chewed to death and they hate plants sold for them.
I've date plants in my collection..
Manjula isn’t cheap here yet in BC Canada, or easily accessible yet either
Подскажите название цветов , которые показываете, пожалуй❤😊
Do you sell them online too?
Part two please
Part 2 please.
Please 😊
Is the Aeschynanthus marmoratus the botanical name for Black Pagoda lipstick?
More!
Pothos is not cheap to buy. I was looking for it for my aquariums and everywhere I went, only a few leaves on a baby plant was like £25 plus.
Part 2 me pleaseeee 😂
Which of these are pet friendly?
Part 2
I am Groot!
Common names too please
Snake plant as low light ?
