Pruning and Trellising our High tunnel tomatoes

Today I am trellising the Determinate tomatoes that we transplanted into the high tunnel on March 1st. These tomatoes have blooms and will begin to bear fruit soon. Getting these guys pruned and trellised is priority 1.

I agree. I was using an EZ Flo and it never really seemed to empty the fertilizer. I got the Newtry doses and love it. I can switch from having it go through drip to having it dose while spraying with the hose. No need to worry about water pressure…it simply just works based on the volume of water. I need to get another one or two so I don’t need to move it around, but being able to connect to the hose allows me to do a lot of different fertilization.

I can see that your farm is a grow for profit organization, which is much better than having a job lol, I live in Alexander county and just farm three gardens around my home for our pleasure and to feed local friends n family and I am wondering if you like me love eating all my vegetables,,I absolutely love tomatoes n all kinds. This year I am growing better boy plus a semi determinate and red deuce n Bella Rosa n Carolina gold n late keepers.

What is your favorite kind and strength of liquid fertilizer,,17/4/17 or 20/6/20or something else and do you use blood meal or bone meal

I do use blood and bone meal, kind of limited on the liquid fertilizers we can use, we use a lot of fish hydrolysis and agrithrive 5-4-4
