Hi Bikash. I really enjoyed this tutorial. How do I know what to set my first PA appliance's IP / subnet? In my Google console, it shows that my Nic0 has an IP address of 10.128.0.0/20. Does that mean that I can set my first PA appliance to be 10.128.0.10/20 for example?

VM and EVE-NG devices Network are Different, nic0 (If you checking for VM) that GCP subnet range. It is not required to set same subnet, you can use different subnet.

My PA device is working but when I try to access Windows XP and windows 10 i am getting the message "No bootable device found". Does anyone give me a suggestion on what I am doing wrong?

Can you please advise how to access the GUI of Firewall from the Cloud, in our VMWARE local home setup we do it by connecting the firewall to the cloud management 0, and then we give the IP of firewall in browser and we are able to access, but in cloud suppose i gave the ip 198.18.18.1/24 to cloud pnet9 and defined nat and then connected the FW to cloud and gave ip 198.18.18.2/24, when i give the ip of FW on browser i am unable to reach, what changes we have to do in our local host machine to be able to reach this cloud pnet9 198.18.18.2/24.

Great job with the video. I installed Eve-Ng and I can log on, even add nodes to it. My problem is that I start the devices and after like 3 seconds, they shut off. I have no idea what to do. Any ideas??

I am not able to telnet/ssh to devices in eve-ng lab. I followed your steps and I got EVE-NG up and running. I also copied the images over like how you showed in the video. The devices show up in the list of devices to select when creating a new lab. I can even get the devices to start running but when I go to telnet/ssh to a router or a switch it just hangs and eventually times out. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks in advance

I figured it out with Yazid's help. I had to allow the traffic thru the GCP Firewall. But before I did that I was able to access the devices via HTML5. So from seeing that I knew that there wasn't a problem with the install and that something was blocking my telnet connection . I appreciate your response. :-)

I already download and installed windows client but why can't use putty?

You must configure allow port on firewall

If you have chosen the correct cpu in google cloud, then you have to download the image again and check, sometime it happens.

I followed each and every step exactly how it is shown in the video..I even got the eve-ng & qemu images deployed successfully on goggle cloud but not a single image(node) is getting started...plz help me to get those images working

I'm having the same issue. image starts for like 3 seconds and gets turned off!!!..
You need to check the size of the images properly, if incase size are not matching, try download the image again

@@eliotalderson6995 you don't need to install any images, only need to copy to eve-ng with proper naming.

this was wrong as you did not write the complete command to create ubuntu type machine.
!! the error is because you have to pass the link to the --licenses variable .... "--licenses compute.googleapis.com/compute/v1/projects/vm-options/global/licenses/enable-vmx" as wrote in pdf
